I brought my 2008 honda Civic in because i was hearing some brake noise. This was a very last-minute visit on a friday afternoon, and i was in a pinch because i needed to get to a wedding later the same day. They only had one tech working and not much time to help me out, but Darrel (the owner) took the time to look over my brakes to make sure everything was functioning properly. He was very friendly and honest, and he didn't seem to mind helping me out. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of a mechanic!

These guys really ARE the best! I had an easy experience with them. I have a 21 y.o. car that I love. They diagnosed a problem with my brakes, and also an engine light issue that pointed to something they said I should fix. So I did. They kept me informed, gave me options, advice, and were efficient and fast. I had a previous experience with a company in Waynesville that kept my car for 5 weeks, and I had to call them weekly to get them to complete it. I will be using Dillsboro Automotive instead.

I’m from Texas and I’m literally considering taking all my trucks to North Carolina just so I can get them maintenanced at Dillsboro Automotive. They are extremely knowledgeable and kind. They are also very thorough. We’ve been to a lot of mechanics and I can honestly say I’ve never been to a place this great. We run a hotshot business, my driver was delivering a load at the Smokey Mountain Railroad (1 mile from Dillsboro Automotive) when he was on his way to deliver he lost his brakes. Luckily, Dillsboro Automotive was the safest and closest place we found. We got so lucky! They were able to help us and fit us in, they understood our situation. I’m very grateful. They even gave our driver a ride to and from his hotel and they had a place for us to park our trailer overnight. Thank you Josh and everyone at Dillsboro Automotive!

I wish I could pack this auto shop up and take it with me for the rest of my life. Josh is incredibly good at his job and very nice and patient with clients, and he runs a great ship. When they work on your car, they compile a list of all the concerns they found for you to view online afterward, so you know everything about the shape your car is in and what you need to keep an eye on or plan for next. They put in a lot of extra effort into being accommodating and helping you with any concerns you have, and everybody there is so incredibly diligent and kind. This is one of those places that actually listens to you and fixes the problems you come to them with because they genuinely care and understand the power of creating a good working relationship with the client. Dillsboro Automotive is the only one I will trust to work on my 2012 Chevy Express work van. I was highly impressed with timely response when my work van broke down and they got it back up and running in 2 days. Which shocked me. Thank you guys for understanding that if my van isn't running I'm not making any money..

All staff members are professionals and listen very well to all concerns you are having with your automobile. Scheduling an appointment is very convenient. The problem with my automobile was solved and the mechanic even offered me to do a test drive with him to ensure I was satisfied with how my car was handling and performing and everything was perfect. Dillsboro automotive solved my automobile issue. I highly recommend Dillsboro automotive for all your automotive needs and repairs. I will definitely be returning to Dillsboro automotive for service work and repairs that my car is requiring.

Had a great experience here. Quickly answered the phone and had quick service time. Job was done well and included a large list of anything that should be done to your vehicle. Price was great, they charged me less than initially planned because the job wasn’t as difficult, they won’t try and screw you with the prices. 10/10 service highly recommend

I first started using Dillsboro Auto five years ago. In these past years I’ve always been impressed with their honest and reliable service. This last visit I was somewhat apprehensive due the previous visit about six months earlier. The previous visit I was presented with a long list of work my vehicle “required” and felt that the Service representative was pushing for it to be scheduled to be completed. This was something I had never experienced before with Dillsboro Auto as I have always trusted their judgement and they would always explain and let me know if there was a concern, especially safety concerns.
I’m pleased to say that this last visit was excellent and my experience and confidence was renewed. I will now continue to highly recommend their service. The communication was great, they fixed my vehicle in a timely manner and it felt like it was the Dillsboro Auto that I originally trusted and appreciated.

All the workers there are very kind helpful and on point! I highly recommend Dillsboro automotive. They send text and emails with suggestions on what may need to be done, and also top notch oil and performance.

Excellent customer service. They kept me in the loop with honest and transparent updates. Would highly recommend for any auto hvac issues.

I have a Fiat and NO ONE takes Fiats in for repair that aren't Fiat dealers . These guys took on the challenge and won! They are a step above all other mechanics I've been to. Thank you universe for letting me find them.😊

They are the only mechanic I’m willing to let service and repair my car now. I originally used them when I went to college, and I’m still using them now. Great customer service, very personable. The mechanics are great at explaining what needs to be/can be improved and why. Their rates are extremely competitive with nearby shops, and their service has been consistent every time.

I’ve used a lot of different mechanics, but when it comes down to price, quality, and customer service - they beat the competition.

Frank was the first person I spoke with. He made sure all my concerns were addressed. The service was exceptional. We will definitely come back for any of our future needs!

Honest guys. Ordered the part for my car right away. Got a total from them the next day. When my car was done they texted me it was ready. Total never changed. Ill be going back for my brakes when im ready.

I was very happy with driving my car without any signals coming on to warn me. I realized that I hadn’t taken care of my 30,000 mile checkups as I should. I was very impressed with all the information that I was sent to see problems that needed to be fixed. I will definitely recommend you to my friends if they have a situation arise as I did. These guys (Josh, Frank & Randy) are amazing! after YEARS of giving ALL our vehicles service from state inspections to towing (truck + 3 cars!!) after 3 visits back with same car still under warranty with a former company called “Reservation Tire”🤮who had to fix the same vehicle 2 times 🧐& charged us the 2nd time🤑although it was within the 90 day warranty !! (never took it back the 3rd time so that issue is still unresolved ) 🙁They couldn’t get us in for days, never returned our call🤯 so we finally decided to find another local place that would be as loyal to us as we were to them & THIS IS IT! 😎👍🏼Randy said they even show a lot of the young college students who bring their vehicles to them HOW to fix it if they ask ! ☺🤗🥰They even let us come with NO appointment ☺. They are up in the hill on the right on the way towards Franklin. no waiting area but a bench outside next to coke machine but perhaps if you need to drop off a vehicle to be serviced they could take you and drop you off up the street at a local restaurant or shopping district like the larger companies service dpt do or get someone to follow you if you can. I’m sure if you’re a widow and alone someone would accommodate you if you call them. They do answer their phone too!
