Lazy Bear General Store is right near the Smoky Mountain Train. They have stairs on one side of the entrance and a very steep ramp on the other side. If you were in a wheelchair someone could push you up, but going down would be scary and you would need someone very strong to hold you back. The store itself was very nice and had a nice rustic feel. There were so many cool things to look at.

I found this store off of the Smokey rail road excursion. This store was one of the only stores still open amongst the other stores that were closed. I got off at the train stop at 7 pm and lots of the other stores were closed. I appreciate the huge selection of jam and barbecue and coffee. I had a hard time making up my mind which jam I wanted so I grabbed three of them. I really wanted to purchase the pecan coffee but it was sold out. The man at the cash register was very kind and greeted us with a smile. The jars for the jelly are huge and should last a long time.

Until next time.

Great little shop. Great merchandise, good prices, nice personable employees. Ice cream, fudge, and local roasted coffee are all wonderful.

I was gifted some of this stores BBQ sauce. Actually it was the hickory Apple... Yum... And the raspberry jalapeno jam! I am currently out and really need to take a road trip to get some more! Best I've ever had. Thank you. All right

Horrid customer service.
We will never return to this store.
On a day of 28 degrees and snow, they had their door propped open. Our chihuahua went to the end of his leash and stepped all four paws just inside the threshold. I immediately got him out and my wife and our daughter entered the store, only to be glared at by the girl in the store. My wife went to the back of the store and the girl.ran back to watch my wife, as if she was going to steal something.
If this is the way they treat the ONLY customers they had in the store on this day, I would hate to see how they act on a busy day

My advice, stay far away from this store.
