Harold's Supermarket IGA

We love supporting this small independent grocery store. They have almost everything you'll need, however, their fresh produce can be hit or miss depending on the time of year. They have some baked goods but not a big selection. They even have a decent beer and wine selection.

As far as a small grocer goes, this place tops them all (overall selection, prepared foods, & location)! They have amazing fruit and vegetables from local growers and you can tell by the quality; e.g., the strawberries were the deepest red and unbelievable taste. They have smaller selections of several other items like baby necessities, batteries, etc. Whether you're planning to do some camping, snacking, preparing a few meals, or just want/need a few things to keep at your temporary stay, you'll find this location more than satisfactory in all areas of consideration.

My absolute favorite grocery store ever!!!!!!Great, quick service it's your great neighborhood grocery store, a real meat market inside and fresh produce. Prices may seem high but you have to remember that you're also paying for a better product and services you won't get anywhere else. That said it all evens out in the wash!!!!!

I just love this little grocery store.. I used to shop it when I lived in Franklin I moved to Maggie Valley but it's just a short distance for me to travel to. Reminds me of back home In Indiana our little IGA we had.. lots of fresh vegetables fruits and the meat selection is fantastic. Not your average store, way better!!!

Nice store with fresh meat and very cheap prices no reason to go grocery shopping at Walmart when you can get half the price here.

Great little place. Have shopped here since I was just a kid. The owners are different but the service is great and small town friendly. They always still try to carry my bags out for me (as they do everyone) even though they know i am capable. Great Butcher and meats but the produce is local whenever possible. Oh and they still have a coin operated horse and the bench out front my grandpa and his friends used to sit on and tell their tales. :)

I enjoy shopping here. Not always a complete selection but the prices seem better than other stores in Sylva. And I really like the staff! They seem to appreciate my business!

While in North Carolina visiting family... I ordered some delicious steaks from there meat department... these steaks were so tender and large!! You definitely don’t need to put anything at all on them for Flavor or Marinade!! Next time you visit the area make sure you stop in and get some steaks cut for yourself !! Delicious!

Very nice neighborhood type grocery store. Has variety of things; good quality vegetables, produce, and fruit is so nice. If you need anything special, you just have to ask! Call & put an order in with the friendly butcher!! I highly recommend this store, it's a little pricey over the others groceries. Quality is certainly worth it⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent grocery store, especially the meat market and fresh produce section. The owners and staff stand behind their stock and are easy to work with if you have a question, special need, etc.
Easy parking and friendly service, polite folks at checkout and young people to carry out and load your groceries.

I enjoy the small town feel here. Knowing that I have a short distance from work everyone will remember me some even by name. Local produce and amazing meat prices. Its great having somewhere to come that isn't over crowded like most other stores.

Closest place to grab Smoky Mountain Roasters coffee, and they have many different roasts.
Produce section is usually hit or miss, but the meats are always the best in town for both quality and prices. Staff is always super friendly and attentive.
