Honest one is amazing! My brother-in-law recommended it to me and I will be going there for all of my car repairs from here on out. I got a flat and took it in to them, Kris was so very kind and explained exactly what the price would be to repair it and let me know that if it needed to be replaced they would call me and let me know what my options were. Sure enough it was pretty badly damaged so Bob called and explained that I have a specific type of tire (Arizonian tires) which was news to me! He highly recommended that I take it to discount tire (the carrier of Arizonian tires) to have them replace it because there is a slight change that there could be future issues if they replaced it even with a similar tire. After that diagnosis and all the time they spent on my car they didn't charge me a dime. Bob and Kris do a fabulous job of informing which in my opinion most car mechanics greatly lack. They don't try to hide costs of services or persuade you into making unnecessary changes. I so appreciate them being open and honest because I know nothing about cars. It's so comforting to have a mechanic that I can trust to do what's best for my car at the least expensive price. Will be recommending to everyone I know! Thank you Bob and Kris!!❤

So one day as I was driving I saw honest auto on the side of the road and thought to myself. No one just calls them self honest auto unless they’re honest so I called them up and scheduled an appointment to get my oil to be changed, My transmission fluid to be changed, and my coolant to be changed. The oil change price was far better than other places that I’ve seen and with the transmission fluid they said that they could flush it and not just change it, which means it all was replaced and not just some.
And their price I believe was completely fair and they weren’t scamming me for money.

Great shop and great owners. We only go to them for all of our car needs. You would think that doing things like installing a car battery would be easy things to do, but we actually went to someone else, and they installed it wrong . My car stalled out, and I almost got hit. Honest one was able to fix the problem and identify it really quickly, and we've never had any problems after taking our car to them, and the fixes were always resolved.

We have been taking our vehicles to Honest 1 Auto Care for over a decade. They are the only ones that we trust and their customer service is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend Honest 1 to anyone and everyone for any of your car needs.

My husband & I have been coming here for nearly ten years- we love honest one! I told him recently that Bob & Kris are the mechanic grandparents I never had 😂. They are SO kind, warm, and welcoming every time I come in.

Costs are fair & transparent; I never feel blindsided or confused by pricing or information given to me.

Other perks- the shuttle service, walking distance to Kneaders, complimentary sodas, and decently comfortable chairs. I do miss the child play area they used to have, but there’s still plenty of space for my kids to bring coloring books and sit, so I really can’t complain.

So kind and quick! Scheduled my emissions test and was done fast. I was confused about some of the charges and it was explained to me and handled professionally and I didn’t feel like I was being pressured into getting work done that I didn’t need! Very sweet and understanding staff

I had always passed by this auto care facility but never stopped by; but, because they accepted my insurance, I had no choice. However, I was pleasantly delighted from the time I went in: I felt welcomed, heard, and validated. They kept me informed throughout the repair procedure, notified me again at the end, and even suggested additional options. While there, I did not feel pressed or persuaded to make a repair. I would highly suggest this auto care.

Wonderful auto care experience! They made clear what each expense was and what was needed from me. They didn’t try to sneak any services in that I didn’t need. They even filled up my tires after my emissions test without me even having to ask! 10/10 experience, great atmosphere, friendly people.

To the mechanic that had to drive my car, sorry that I didn’t warn about the extension pedals! :)

They were so very helpful, and made me feel confident about the needed repairs. They didn’t sneak any extra charges in, the final cost was exactly what they said it would be. My car now runs like brand new!!!

Their name says it all— HONEST and VERY COURTEOUS AND POLITE. It was a pleasure to speak with Kris over the phone from Pennsylvanian trying to make arrangements to fix my daughter’s car who is attending BYU. I brought tires to them and they put them on great and charged me for the mounting and balancing! Two days later one of my tires was completely flat and all my other tires were super low. They took my car right back in the day I called in and checked everything out. They were able to identify the issue- my older valve stems were leaking and I had run over a nail. They replaced all the stems and repaired the tire and only charged me for the cost of the valve stems. All the labor was free of charge. Great and honest mechanics!

I have been going to this mechanic for years and I don't plan on switching. The first time I took a car to them years ago they made a repair that didn't end up fixing the issue with the car. I took the car back and they fixed the issue without charging me another penny. The woman at the front desk is always incredibly kind, she's a calming presence when your car is broken down and anxiety is high. They will drive you to wherever you need to go while they fix your car. The assessments are reasonable, you don't feel like they are finding extra issues to charge you for. And their quotes for repairs that are needed are not overblown.

This is the second auto place we've went to since living in the area. I am very pleased with there services. They took the time to tell us everything our van needed, for free and in order of what needs fixed most. And that's a lot of work because our Van has everything wrong with it. I won't name the place but we had a auto repair shop before moving to this one, and they started out doing a great job for really cheap. Then one day my wife took the van in for a turn up, and they changed 1 spark plug, the wires and charged us $800. So this is our new place and as long as they never try to rip us off, will will stay with them.

I asked around to 6 different auto shops in Provo, and they had the lowest quote. Bob and Kris were super nice at the front desk, and I loved me experience here.

Honest 1 has always taken good care of a couple of my cars through the years and they have always delivered!

My interaction with H1 started over the phone. Bob, the gentleman who answered my call was able to give me a rough quote for a 120,000 mile inspection and service. He was very knowledgeable in the service processes and costs. During my inspections and repairs they kept me in the loop as things developed. They also worked some things that I had known issues on my 4Runner. One of which was a collision sensor that had been giving me some issues. They quoted me ~200$ for parts and labor, with my approval, they started in on it. After diving into it further it was later identified that the wiring harness was faulty and that it was an easy fix. Even though they had the parts and my expectation to change the part they didn't, instead they fixed the wiring and knocked the cost of the repair off my total bill. Because of their honesty on the condition of my parts even though it would mean losing a few hundred on my bill, they chose my best interests. Because of this and the quality of service for all my future minor/major repairs and services I'll be coming back to Honest 1.

We have found our mechanic! I broke down and had my car towed to Honest-1. I was expecting over a week’s worth of work, but they found a simple problem, fixed it, and sent me on my way the next day. The honesty and efficiency were so impressive to me. We will recommend them and use them all the time.

The sweetest people! They don’t make you feel pressured to do anything extra to your car and take great care in what they do.
