Chad made my CarMax experience amazing. I imported a Volvo s90 from a CarMax in Indianapolis. And Chad was amazing throughout the whole process. CarMax initially offered me 20k for my truck and I got 21600 after inspection. I got my Volvo for what my bank says in the fair market value. And over all a 10/10 CarMax experience. I think they have a forever customer from this point forward.

Great people! I went in expecting to start a LLOOOONNGGGG search for the perfect car, and left an hour later with the process started for my new best ride! There was no pressure at any point. Just an honest discussion on what was available (across pretty much the whole state) and what options I could go with. The salesman was fine with my decision either way. I really HATE shopping for cars - it’s right up there with shopping for a bathing suit - but CarMax made it easy. And they gave me a fair and generous price for my trade-in. Definitely a recommend!

I had the pleasure of working with Jacob Spieler. He was very helpful and not pushy at all. I dreaded walking in and having to deal with a car salesman but Jacob was very friendly and focused more on getting what I wanted than just making the sale. He embodies Carmax’s slogan of “How car buying should be”.

Every step of our trade/purchase went extremely well. Each CarMax employee we interacted with was courteous, pleasant, and helpful. We were thoroughly impressed!

We went to CarMax to get a car for the family, having picked out the one online. I want to leave an honest review as I judge companies by how they handle a situation, rather than performing well first try.

We had Daniel as our representative, and the car we picked was good. We had some trouble with it after a few weeks, through no fault of Daniel, and brought it back. They made the transition to a different car seamless and honored their word, hard thing these days.

First of all they made us feel welcome, my wife had to sit with our 2 year old the whole afternoon as I couldn't take off work. Daniel went above and beyond, as well as the whole staff to get us in the car that we have now. Even the staff played with our daughter while my wife was figuring out the paperwork and moving stuff from car to car. They treated us like family, that's something missing in a lot of companies today.

To Daniel, thank you for taking care of my family my friend, we'll definitely be back.

After getting home and realizing my car didn’t have Apple CarPlay like advertised I was just like eh, it’s alright. When I brought it up, they immediately offered to put in a whole new unit for me free of charge because of that. That speaks volumes of this company and I couldn’t be more happy! Thanks so much!

I bought a car at carmax because if something goes wrong right away you aren't stuck and because they can do the repair work for the extended warranty they sell. No pressure and super helpful. They have tons of cars. Honestly, they are the walmart of cars. Oh, my salesman Joe was a pleasure to work with. Happy buyer!

Used their Express Pick Up option. Simple, Easy, Seamless. My Sales Consultant Chad was outstanding. He had everything ready to go and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Ashley in the business office was very accommodating and friendly. Even thought I was late for my appointment, and pushing their closing time, she never made me feel rushed. Great place to buy a car and have the best warranties in the business. Their Maxcare plan is superb and one of the reasons I continue to shop at Carmax.

I haven't bought a car yet but I walked in today to take a look around. While I was fully expecting the normal salesmen act of being pushy and hovering, I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to look at their lot without pressure, hassle or hovering. After maybe 10-20 minutes, Mike came out to check on me.

Mike answered all my questions. He wasn't nosey or pushy. He let me take the lead in conversation. In a world where women are told and taught to be super defensive and on guard in public, especially in a male dominated company such as car sales, I only felt at ease and welcomed.

I hope in the near future to purchase a vehicle here.

Very nice place to shop for a car. All of the cara on the lot are unlocked so you can go around and sit in any car that you want. They also have the 24 hour test drive which is awesome! I really liked car shopping here. Everyone was very nice and not too pushy. Clarence is the man you need to talk to. He was awesome!

Car buying is trying and difficult. I've bought only new cars since 1980 just for peace of mind. My car just passed 244,000 miles and a repair was imminent. I began looking online, and at local dealers for one of three brand models. One dealership acted like they were doing me a favor to show the specific SUV I considered.
All that changed when I called Carmax. Their assistant was in Arizona, checked inventory, and found a vehicle, along with setting up an appointment. I went to the dealership, and met a laid-back salesman. The car was prepped and looked like a new vehicle. Needless to say, I bought it that night. The whole process was professional and smooth. I highly recommend Carmax Winston-Salem.

They were able to get us into the vehicle we needed at the right time. No delays on delivery. The staff were friendly and helpful. And I absolutely love our new truck.

I have been to the Carmax in Winston-salem and Greensboro...I can always find a great deal at a reasonable price. A rep by the name of Jacob was AWESOME! Very personable and explained everything.

Daniel explained everything that was happening when I was having my car appraised and also answered all of my questions about the car that I wanted transferred in from another location. Both selling my car and buying a different car were smooth and no pressure which, after having a bad experience at a dealership, I appreciated.
