If you are looking for a no frills, straight talk, reasonably priced vet practice this is it. Dr Meier is a good vet, he is practical and sensible. He also comes with years of experience. When you walk into Leon Valley Vet you might feel a little underwhelmed, that's okay, keep in mind new furnishings and coffee bars are not necessary for good quality pet care. I've been taking my pets to Dr Meier for years. On one occasion he told me my dog was fat, naturally my feelings were hurt, but after reflection on the matter I knew he was right. I came to the understanding that his job is to be advocate for my pet, not for me. I know to appreciate that now. Prices are reasonable especially when you consider the kind of experience Dr Meier brings to the table.
