Appalachian RV Resort

My husband and I wanted to write a review and say how wonderful and welcoming it is here. We love it so much that we bought here. Our family loves it. The owner Dan goes out of his way to help and Carolyn is precious. I hope when you consider a vacation for a few days you will come here. You will never be disappointed. You can take your family a few miles down town to Dollywood and a short scenic drive to Gatlinburg. Well, maybe you may want to chill out and enjoy all the glorious nature around you, then this place is for you. You’re close to Cades Cove, rivers to wade in to your hearts delight or grill out and have fun with your family. A swimming hole not far away. A hikers dream within a short drive. Many trails to explore awaits you. If you like your vacay simple and fun then this is the place for you. In a world of reviews there will always be those that will complain, we have no complaints just compliments. Thank you Dan. You’re just great. 😊

Things have been great here. Wide spaces, plenty of parking, fire pits and picnic tables. The owner is very kind and helpful. Very easy going place. Location is awesome and easy to find! Highly recommend the location.

Bin here about a year and a bit, we love it, it's quite and simple kinda life out here. The people are very friendly, and the owner has bin very friendly to us and helpful. People mind the own business and I feel like it's for people wanting to get away from all the fluff and get back to a simplistic quite life. We Love it.

We been here 3 months now. We love it very quiet. And people keep to there selves 😉.Dan the owner is awesome 👍.

This was a unique experience with lots of adventure and memories. I rented a two bedroom RV with a hot tub with only one day notice through Airbnb for Spring Break. It was so wonderful!!!!

The Resort is located in Wear Valley. It is a great little town that offered many unique shops and restaurants. There is even a Food Truck Park with a play area, corn hole area, and music. A coffee shop and general store are a short walk from the resort on a quiet little country road. Each are worth the walk.

The RV Resort is right outside the Great Smoky Mountain Nation Park. The entrance to the park is literally less than a mile on the same road,. You can enter the park right in middle of Elkmont and Cades Cove.

The RV was huge. We Rented the Oakmont. It had two complete bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was extremely clean and had absolutely everything you will need. EVERYTHING!

On the outside of the RV there was another kitchen, a hot tub, fire pit, picnic table, great lawn chairs, and two grills. Again, it was all well stocked. There was charcoal , grilling utensils, and a wood pile waiting for us. This place was made to enjoy to enjoy the quiet of the valley.

The greatest part was Dan, the owner, and his staff. They told us repeatedly to let them know if we needed anything at all, and they truly meant it. (Towels, Trash bags, more Wood) Dan had great tips for when and where to go, whether it be to eat or to see animals in the park.

You can tell that Dan takes great pride in his park. He text me before we arrive to get an arrival time. When we arrived the RV was open; lights and A/C was on. He wanted it to be completely ready!

I understand that some may not like it here. There is no pool, putt putt golf, or play area for kids in the resort. It is a small RV park in a quiet valley where you can sit in a hot tub and look up at the stars. It is so quiet at night you may have plug in a fan for white noise. The prices at local shops were normal, and the people were nice.

This resort is off the beaten path and WORTH IT!

Very nice RV Resort. They keep it will maintain and also have like 5-6 nice campers they rent through Air R&B or what ever its called.
They also have some "long term" residents staying there as well and also have extra spots.
Less then a mile from Great Smoky Mountains Nationa Park and about 15-20 mins away from Pigeon Forge.

Been living here almost 2 months, so far we are loving it. Noone bothers us, and we dont bother others. Clean laundry room and not expensive to do laundry. We are leasing to own from the owner.

This a great RV park my family likes it because it is mostly for full timers not many kids ,peaceful and serene love the great views of the smokies
