Harper Bros. General Merchandise Store

Beautiful place. The general store had some nice merchandise and coffee shop was amazing. Highly recommend their horse back riding. Well worth it. We took our two girls and staff was super friendly. The guide and his wife explained everything and were very accommodating.Their horses are beautiful and well taken care of. The facility was clean and well kept. We enjoyed our visit!

This is without a doubt the cleanest and best smelling General Store you've ever been in! It also has a nice selection of things to snack on. The mountain views as seen in the pic are amazing!

Great local General Store with a variety of goods from clothes to games to health/beauty products & a pretty cool coffee bar. Even the kids had stuff to look at like the stuffed animals, puzzles, & toys. The adult clothes were very well designed! Very friendly & helpful staff. Will go back again when we come to visit!

This is a great store. Lots of fun merchandise. We visited this store several times. They also have a skylift called "Hawks Skylift" behind the store that opened 2 weeks ago, it was a great ride to the top of the mountain. It doeznt show on maps yet but it's behind the general store.

Me and my husband went here this past weekend and I have to say it's one of the most peaceful, beautiful places we've visited in the mountains. The chairlift ride up was so beautiful 😍 They have a nice area at the top of the chairlift for you to get off and relax and take in the beautiful views. They also have games you can play. Hope to visit again soon.

Must visit the store great variety , coffee bar that uses Starbucks coffee. Beautiful barn and horse stalls that house horses for trail rides or take the Skylift to the top and take in the views of Wears Valley or relax on the rockers and swings. Either way you won’t want to miss any of it. Looking forward to our return trip.

After going to Cades Cove my family and I were driving back to our cabin in Wears Valley. It was our last day and we were looking for a place I could buy a souvenir for my son and a gift for a friend. I was also planning on traveling all the way to Pigeon Forge to buy coffee afterwards. As we driving on 321, I saw a Starbucks banner and then saw Harper Bros. General Store. We decided it would be the perfect place to stop, and we weren't wrong! Not only is the building itself beautiful, the products being sold are extremely well curated and you get to read the bio of each seller. The Starbucks is super inviting, there are areas to play board games and just relax. The best part of it all was the amazing service. We absolutely loved our time speaking with the store manager and appreciated her kindness and friendliness. Our visit there was one we will remember, and hope to make again in the future.

This place is so cool for shopping for gifts and knives and stuff. Great people work there. Also, the lift and horses are AWESOME!

A must stop when in town! Beautiful store! Clean, fresh, spacious, not at all touristy like the strip! Very refreshing to shop here! And have a frappe via Starbucks inside!❤

Really cute store but what sets it apart were the friendly people running it. They were warm and inviting and made it a very pleasant experience.

We rode the Hawk skylift and thoroughly enjoyed it. Smooth ride and great views at top. Great folks working there. Especially Edie at top. She was a character and made the whole experience even more memorable.

Really great place to browse while waiting for table at Elvira's next door. An upscale "country style" store. Don't miss it when visiting or traveling through Wears Valley.

My husband and I waited out a storm in Harper Bros. Once it started raining we started looking at knives and spent over an hour chatting with staff about all the knives they had. It was truly amazing! The level of customer service we experienced has made us a life long customer! One should not miss out on this amazing shop and the even better staff!

We really enjoyed the chairlift and horseback ride. The staff are all extremely welcoming and helpful. The horses are well cared for and the sights are beautiful from the chairlift. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Have done multiple other sky lifts and horseback riding in the area, and this experience tops the others! Leon was our guide for the horseback ride. He was so kind and helpful and attentive to the horses. The skylift views are so beautiful and scenic, far better than any views in downtown Gatlinburg or pigeon forge! They also give complimentary waters and moon pies at the top. Highly recommend!

Great general store, a little of everything. The service was fantastic with a nice personal touch. I picked up some lotion and shower bombs that I absolutely love.

Such sweet people! Went in there on vacation and found out that they were selling posh peanut. My daughter loved them so much. I called them and asked if they could ship me some and they went out of their way to send me a list of what was available and everything. Love supporting small and would definitely visit this gem of a store if in the area!!!! Thank yall again!

One of my favorite stores to look around. They have a little bit of everything and are always very kind.
