Small bank with friendly staff. Tellers are quick, officers not so quick.

Got to the bank at 4:57. Door where locked bank closed. In Matters of money doors can't close early even if it is 5 or 3 min.

Today I went into the branch off 410 to get a Wells Fargo check made out to me and my business stamped showing I have a open account under my business so Wells Fargo can turn the check into a cashier’s check so I can have access to funds right away instead of waiting up to 10 business days. Mind you this is the same check I wanted to cash this past Saturday at the 1604 location but was told by the cashier it would be put on a hold due to the amount $8,000 so she recommended I take it to Wells Fargo they should cash it so I said fine. I ended up getting sick sun and didn’t feel better till yesterday I took the check into Wells Fargo and the lady told me because it was under my company name and I wasn’t a Wells Fargo customer I would have to get it stamped at Texas community so she could then replace it with a cashiers check so I called Texas community and spoke with Hector he confirmed said to take it in and we can figure it out so today I decided to do just that I go to the 410 branch go up to the teller and it ended up being the same lady from Saturday I said hey this is what I need from y’all I spoke to hector yesterday and he said yall could do it. So she asks me to wait takes the check to the back and is telling who before I knew at the moment was the FIRST VICE PRESIDENT AND OPERATIONS MANAGER my situation and I’m not sure if he just wasn’t thinking or he really believed that nobody could hear him but his responses were what I would say is against a lot of what they say they are here for. I mean who say things like “u see sometimes these people want to take shortcuts” who does he mean by these people? and “ if he would have just deposited the check Saturday it would’ve cleared already “ almost like it was to much to just get the stamp and stamp the check so I can be on my way. I didn’t know I was going to get sick but then again it’s my money and I shouldn’t feel like I’m being a bother walking into a bank seeing if there is a way I can get quicker access to MY money seeing how I’ve been a customer about 15 yrs maybe more with a personal account and a couple years with business account. I just couldn’t believe that anybody would say things like that knowing that he is in the customer service industry. I find that the higher ups in this location need a reality check. Just because I don’t walk in with a briefcase or tie doesn’t make me a criminal yet every time I walk in with a check for a large amount I get what feels like a interrogation like seriously even for a insurance check that was under 4 grand from State Farm one time like what. I’ve never had any bad checks go through a account so what’s the problem. Another time I took a certified check and was told multiple times that it wasn’t when it was I made sure it was so I could have access to my funds right away instead of a check being put on hold it actually took the SAME lady that is my teller in this recent incident to ask me for the check take a look at it and called the bank to verify if it was a certified check which yes it was. I was just like wow out of everyone she’s actually doing her job because AGAIN it was like too much for these higher ups to lift a hand and do what they are supposedly there for. I mean who’s paying these people? FYI your wasting your money I’m sure you can get a few more to fill these 2 positions that are way more qualified and way less rude. From the many experiences I’ve had here someone please give the tellers more credit for going out of their way to do what the bosses act like they are to good for. I will be more than happy to speak to anyone that reaches out about these issues and I will make this complaint on every platform I can until somebody makes a change at this location. In the end I did get the check stamped and signed of course because I let it be known that I heard what was said right after it was said so Sorry Mr Navarro but you should be a little more nice you know after all it’s Christmas and your there because we’re here not the other way around sir.
