Half Price Books

What can I say. My wife loves books! Service and atmosphere is always Great! No matter which Half Price Books you go to. And we've been to many of them. In Texas and Wisconsin.

Very helpful, and very polite! I found a book I’ve been searching for forever, (and when I was looking through an employees cart, they were very soft in letting me know it hadn’t been sorted just yet. I really appreciate the book buying service counter people! Thank you so so much! :D

A great place to come to get good deal on books, movies, cds, records and other stuff. The employees here are always friendly and nice. This place is real clean and if you cannot find something just ask an employee and they will help you.

Probably the best Half Price Books I’ve gone to! Sofie the cashier in the front had the warmest smile and greeted me when I walked in. I asked her where the magazines were and she was able to direct me. Definitely will be coming back! 😆

Been my go to for so many years because, outside of current releases, I can almost always find what I'm looking for at a very reasonable price. Why spend $25 at B&N when I can get the same book for $10 (or less)?

My only request for the store is I wish they had chairs where you can sit down while searching your treasured book.

Clean place, with friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff that will go out of their way to show you where you can find the books you're looking for and help recommend new books and authors you may not have read or heard of.
I slight problem, they offer you very little, next to nothing for books or anything worth money. If you are looking to sell your books or comic books be fore warned they won't offer very much.
Prices for some of the books are nicely priced. I do enjoy Half Priced Books for their staff and for books that you might not find elsewhere.

I always love finding half price books when I travel. This location probably had the most and rice books in one area than I've found in the dozens of locations I've been to. Just goes to show that every location is going to be unique, and it's not like your usual chain book stores where everything's the same. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Love it, get the most money for your unwanted hardback and paperback and audio books, DVD movies, CD music, Comic books and graphic novels, PC and video games and collectibles.

Very helpful, has more music, comics, and movies than the Alamo Heights location, all half price has clean restrooms.

In a world of online media, there are still places where you can be surrounded by “nerds” who love books. Half Price Books is such a haven.

As with all HPB locations, this one has such a variety of books across all the genres and reading ages/audiences. I have purchased many many books from here; ones I thought I would never find, including some of my all-time favorites I am re-reading.

Half Price Books is my favorite store in the whole world. I mainly buy compact discs, but I also buy books and records. Prices are fair and you can find different rarities at each individual store.

This is one of my favorite stores. Everyone is so helpful. They even have furniture at a very good low price guaranteed or your money back.

Went looking for books in a series that I’m collecting… found 1 & another complete series of 3 books! I think Half Price Books likes to see me & my money part ways! :)

My sister, niece and I spent over an hour in this store! From the Bibles to the romance to the children's corner. We enjoyed every second of it. They buy back your old books, and the books on the shelves are new or used. A true book lover, like myself, wont mind a little bent cover and creased edges. Some of the great classics have authors signatures and are in mint condition.
Along with the wide variety of books, each of the workers were patient with our questions and excitement. We were informed how we can request one be built in our city, but in the meantime a trip to San Antonio means a trip to Half Price Books.

Always a great place for great cards, journals, nicnacks.... Great books, great prices. You'll find things here you would never find at other book stores! Great DVD selections, CDs, tapes, etc. Great customer service! Cute selection of stuffed animals, nicnacks, Books that have been sold here, etc. Clearance items... I like this store a lot, it's a great place to just chill at and escape. 🙂

Best bookstore ever!! If you're looking for gems, then go here. I'm never disappointed. You can also sell your books to them too. You can easily lose yourself here. Nobody is rude. None of the staff hovers either. They let you have your peace with books, but are definitely there when you need help.

Besides just being a fantastic book store, clean and well organized, with a great selection, great prices, and fun book related accessories, the staff here has been so wonderful to talk with and consistently helpful!!

My go to when I wanna read random books, neat vintage finds... you can get lost in time there. My favorite spot. Great prices, lots of parking, friendly and helpful staff. Quiet and clean.
