This park is fun for the whole family! They are pavilions available for rent, grills available to use, plenty of seating, playgrounds and a splash pad for the kids of all ages and abilities, and tons of events occurring throughout the year at the park.

McKinney hosted its annual Juneteenth celebration event this past weekend, and it was a blast!! Food trucks, music, smiles everywhere, and good old fun ❤

This park is great! The playground is brand new. There is a splash pad that's open during summer months. There are plenty of slides, swings. It has a pavilion, picnic tables, restrooms, water fountain, walking/hiking trails, basketball court. It connects to a pickle ball court. Plenty of parking. Overall great park for kids of all ages.

Great variety of fun! They have a shaded park for Littles, and a bigger more obstacle course one for bigger kids. Plenty of swinging options and a great splash pad! Covered pavilion and plenty of shaded benches under a tree throughout the park. There's a restroom, waking trail, basketball court and tennis courts.

My kids love this park! It's one of the best in the area. The new playground is fantastic! We spent a solid hour trying out all of the new structures and activities, and still didn't get through them all before we needed to head home. We're looking forward to trying out the new splashpad this summer!

I have loved this place since I was 6. Nicely tucked away on downtown McKinney. I got my first splinter in the log fort playground back in 1990/1991, back when my daycare brought it's own wax paper so we could slide faster. Brings back great memories!

Gorgeous newly remodeled park with fun playground, water play area, nice covered picnic areas, basketball courts and pickleball courts. McKinney has done a great job with updating the parks!

My 11mon, 2 and 3 yo children absolutely LOVE this park. We go every so often and they love the water part of the park and we have an amazing bonding time. There are two different types of parks one for 1-3 year olds & the other is for 5+ year olds. They have a picnic/bbq pit area, a basketball court for older children and also comfortable gazebos for parent to comfortably sit and watch children from the park areas.

Splash pad was pretty nice and awesome playground, although it's way too hot for kids to play on in the heat of the day. Water fountain and bathroom close by. Kids had a blast!

I love this community park. There is a bathroom that is clean (unless some low life decides to mess it up) workers are there in the morning and afternoon. You are able to grill and have the kids play on the playground. There is also a splash pad at this park. Wonderful for younger kids. There is great history around the park about McKinney also.

I really appreciate the pickleball courts here. I drive from Plano because these are much better.

We loved this park and splash pad! The parents have the perfect vantage point with a covered pavilion in the middle. I do wish it had some fence being so close to the road. Worth the drive from Anna!

I honestly don't even want to post a review of this park because it's my favorite park in the area, and I don't want it to become overcrowded like Bonnie Wenk park, for example.

However, this is an amazing park and all parents should know about it!

It has 3 playground areas (1 for littles with small awnings for shade and 2 for older kids), swings, a splash pad in the summer, walking trails, basketball courts, tennis courts (I think?), and restrooms. Also has picnic tables and a couple of pavilion areas with seating. Mature trees all around provide shade, and the newly renovated playgrounds and restrooms are still looking brand new.

I love this park and hope it continues to be clean and fun for all kiddos.

The bucket fills up with water and then pours down a spout slowly. Kids go haywire for it. So fun!

Really nice playground and splash pad for kids. We came around 12pm on a Sunday and it wasn’t super crowded, which was a plus.

They have pickleball and tennis courts too. Free play I believe.
