Rick's Chophouse

This was our 1st time at Rick's. We had a favorite Italian restaurant that we'd been going to since 1985 & that we called our home! Since covid, they have let their food & especially the atmosphere go way down. So we decided to try Rick's tonight for our 10th Anniversary to see what they had to offer. First, the atmosphere was beautiful & elegant... The only reason we gave it 4 out of 5 stars was due to the lack of a dress code! To have a place this historic & beautiful, you should make the guests dress to match the atmosphere & ambiance. Second, the service was excellent!! Our server was Evette & it was only her 2nd week there....you would have never known. Evette made our evening special & delightful! Lastly, we gave the food 4 out of 5 stars due to my bone in Ribeye being deliciously seasoned on the outside & grilled to perfection, but the inside of the steak was bland tasting...season/marinate it or something, it was a little disappointing....especially for the price!! All of the other food, appetizers & the sides were very delectable & delicious!! On a side note, the cocktails were very delicious & nicely priced.....kudos to the batender!! My wife & I had a wonderful evening & plan on returning soon!! Thank you, Rick's Chophouse, for making our 10th anniversary special!! I think we might have found a new restaurant that we can call home!!

My husband and I have never been disappointed when dining at Rick’s Chophouse - the food, atmosphere, and employees are top notch.

My favorite dinner item to order is the filet with red wine demi-glaze - the portions are very generous and, although delicious enough to finish in one sitting, it more than enough to share between 2 or take home to enjoy at a later time.

The atmosphere is very intimate and cozy, perfect for a date night or getting together with a group of friends.

Visited the Chophouse on a weekday evening(Tuesday before Valentine’s Day) and I would describe the experience as terrific. The food, atmosphere and experience were incredible and everything I could have asked for.

We sat at the bar because reservations were difficult to come by given the proximity to Valentine’s Day. I ate the Filet Mignon with lobster tail and the dish was perfect. A perfect cut of meat and selection of lobster tail combined with great culinary preparation and display.

Service at the bar was terrific. Staff was friendly and responsive. Couldn’t have asked for a better bartender.

My only issue it’s a small one. I attempted to make reservations, but the timeslot we wanted to arrive was fully booked. I asked the staff if they got any cancellations to please call me to book a table. I never received a call, despite seeing several tables open when we arrived and departed. But like I said, this is a small point.

Rick's chophouse was on the list for this trip. We planned on eating dinner there. The wedding we attended provided dinner. We decided to do brunch on the way out. The variety was large and the food was very good. I'll admit, I'm not a fan of buffets. They only offer the buffet on Sunday for brunch. With that being said they have everything from eggs benedict to oysters on a half-shell. Fantastic! Can't wait to go back for dinner. The best part is the buffet was only $30.00 per person.

My wife and I really loved our Sunday brunch experience here. Actually sat back in the bar area and watched the Cowboys game. It was delicious food in a really relaxed atmosphere. Will make reservations next time to be seated in the dinning room. Prime rib, shrimp, oysters and smoked salmon were highlights but really everything was good.

The atmosphere was romantic. We have to order our desert to go but our server brought out an ice cream. Too nice of her. Ruth was very attentive. Made our anniversary extra special.

Had a lovely mid-week lunch here to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Very attentive service, amazing menu, cozy yet elegant atmosphere. We will most definitely be back!

The Food. The service. Is top notch and their prices are VERY reasonable compared to their competitors: Bob's, See Lincoln, etc. We recently celebrated our amazing son's 18th birthday and he and we all enjoyed ourselves. Definitely customers for life.

We went for the Sunday brunch. First, make sure you make a reservation. Second it's pretty much all street parking so maybe go early. There are some small lots but they are a bit of a walk. The whole place is so comfortable. It's kinda rustic but kinda elegant at the same time. When you first look at what they are offering for the brunch buffet you won't be blown away. It looks pretty basic and not a ton of selection. However don't let that fool you. Everything in those serving trays was spectacular. Even the eggs had great taste. They were light and fluffy. The French toast casserole was amazing. So much flavor and sweetness. The real heroes were the sauces. From the table gravy to the cocktail sauce, aioli to the horseradish for the prime rib. They all had a very unique flavor you wouldn't expect from those sauces. The seafood tray has the freshest shrimp and oysters (something you don't normally see in a buffet like this). The meats in the carving station were all exceptional. Even the fruit was excellent. For the desserts they are more of a European taste. Very flavorful but not overly sweet. Overall a must do.

From weekend brunch buffet to a fancy date night meal, Rick's never disappoints, it's our favorite place to go. Remember to make reservation in advance though.

Our latest visit was at the outdoor table. After bottles of wine and plenty of great food, I forgot to take pictures ... 😅

We had our wedding reception at the Grand Hotel and Ballroom with Rick's Chophouse making our food. Megan at Rick’s Chophouse was so easy to work with from the very beginning. After talking to her, we didn’t need to talk to any other people regarding the reception selection. Megan was patient and kind in explaining all the reception details to us and responded to emails in a timely manner. We had a great reception at Rick’s with good venue, good food, and good sleep. It was an unforgettable night. Thank you Megan and the Grand Hotel & Ballroom staff, we were so lucky to have you!

Came for a birthday dinner, and we're immediately greeted with a congratulations. The atmosphere and setting is nice and fancy. Service was excellent. The Ahi Tuna and Fried Oyster were tasty appetizers. New York strip was cooked to perfection and the Salmon melted in the mouth. Rustic Apple pie to end the night, 10/10 experience.

Rick's Chophouse is one of our favorite places to celebrate special occasions. From birthdays to anniversaries, the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel special.

Plus, the food is amazing! Highly recommended.

Took my wife here tonite for our 20th anniversary, & it was definitely one of the best meals I have ever had, the porterhouse for 2, with pureed potatoes & green beans, we added crab meat. Everything, & I mean EVERYTHING was absolutely AMAZING!!!!
(Plus they have us both a desert to celebrate our anniversary)

We went to Rick's Chophouse for the first time on a Monday to celebrate my wife's birthday. Fair warning the website says they don't take online reservations with less than 24hrs notice, so if you're trying to get a last minute reservation, call. But I digress. We entered and were greeted by the hostesses. They led us to our table where Andrea was our server. She was very knowledgeable and professional and gave us a wonderful experience. Service was top notch. We started with the calamari and the escargot. Both were delicious. Then my wife got a cup of tortilla soup (tomato based) and I got a wedge salad. Once again both were delicious. For our main course, we got the buttermilk fried chicken and the Elk. The chicken was HUGE (came with 4 large pieces and sides). The elk was phenomenal and cooked to perfection. At the end Andrea informed us that my wife got a complimentary dessert for her birthday. She got the cheesecake and I got the key lime pie to go. True to theme, dessert was good too. No complaints at all. All in all, with a glass of wine and a mocktail, our tab was $143. We will definitely be going back and asking for Andrea again.

Amazing buffet brunch! I took my wife here for her birthday and it did not disappoint. The food was great, an assortment of breakfast and lunch food with a prime rib carving station. They also have wonderful little desserts and they even brought my wife a special ice cream for her birthday. 5/5 recommend!

This would be the first and only time (thus far) I’ve been to this lovely restaurant.
What an incredible experience.
I love the intimate atmosphere. The ‘no windows’ setting is both soothing and comforting.
I enjoyed the food very much as well as the customer service and the back side lounge area, with a piano in it!

Always amazing! They have all my favorite appetizers, Escargot and calamari. Tried the watermelon salad, and I will definitely get it again. The steak was cooked to perfection and was topped with lump crab with hollandaise sauce. The drinks were delicious, my personal favorite blood orange martini, and my husbands dirty Martini. To top it off with a birthday dessert Crème brûlée.

Our first time and not the last. Amber was our server and did a great job! I had the escargot, watermelon salad and cowboy steak. My wife had the seabass. Our friends had the filet. Delicious and cooked to perfection. We will be back.
