Dr Garza is the sweetest man and the best doctor in the world. I wouldn't go to any other doctor. Very trustworthy and professional.

QUICK SYNOPSIS:
•Make sure you don’t have any other appointments scheduled within a 5hr window.

FIRST TIMER REVIEW:
Appointment was at 10:15am and
still sitting in the lobby an hour later.
Gentlemen next to me, told me his appointment was at 9 and just got seen at 10:50am. Almost 2 hours after his appointment time. This is completely unacceptable - what’s the point of having an appointment?
Gentlemen next to me also informed me that this is very common, and his way around it was to get the earliest appointment (8/8:15am) in order to get out of here by 10-11am AND he brings his work laptop to the waiting room because he knows how this works, but he keeps coming back because Dr. Garza is the best.
I asked Alma, very sweet lady at the front, if there was an ETA because I had another appointment scheduled at 1:30pm in Stone Oak, and she let me know that Dr. Garza was an 1.5 hrs late today but they should be able to get me out in time.

1hr and 20 min after scheduled appointment time:
Spoke to the Nurse once I was brought back, and she let me know that it was because Dr Garza usually had to work/was on-call for the hospital (next door), so if anything did come up sometimes people would have to wait 3-5 hours after their scheduled appointment.
She also let me know he is a very thorough doctor and will take his time with his patients.
She was very efficient with taking my vitals and getting my ECG done.

2hr 10 min. after appointment time:
Once I met with Dr. Garza, he was very cheerful, sweet, and charismatic.
He went through my past tests that I had done with the hospital and took his time explaining what was going on!

3hrs after appointment time:
I’m still at the office. Now doing Orthostatic BP. I definitely did not make it to me second appointment and had to reschedule.

Overall, decent experience, I suppose.
All I’m asking is for the clinic to have the courtesy to let the patients know ahead of time that he tends to run late and that he does take his time, because in that case I wouldn’t have scheduled another appointment the same day.

I really hope nobody has to come across this establishment, they might seem like nice people but this Dr will run up your medical bills sending you to unessary testing overs and over maybe even send you for surgery you don’t need.
If you’re looking into employment here good luck hope they treat you well and you don’t get stuck with piles of work alone, they have favorites and won’t appreciate your hard work ethic.
