Every time I come here is an awesome experience! The food is always amazing and the staff always goes above and beyond; Every time I order takeout, the girls at the front desk Addie and Caroline always go the extra 10 miles and make sure the order comes out perfectly as soon as it's ready- exceptionally professional customer service ✌🏻

The pizza is a high 4.6, however, they were out of iced tea. How do you run out of iced tea in TX. The (well done,asked for) sausage is a very good pie, top 5 in N.Dallas area. I need to hit it up again for a straight cheese, maybe next Friday. Similar pie with iced tea... I'll get ya the 5. Bruchetta was also nice, bread toasted perfectly, and the sheep's milk cheese is great.

Stopped in Friday night around 8pm and it wasn't busy, we didn't have to wait, for a table for 2, at all. Nicole was our server and she was awesome and very attentive. She remembered our orders with no pad. The food was delicious, all of it. The drinks were pretty strong and tasty as well. They do have a bunch of vegan options and beer options. There was parking behind the building and a parking garage farther back if it's too busy.

We had a group of 10 and were seated w/i 10 minutes. Our waitress got our drink order promptly. After ordering our food was out in a reasonable time. Everything came out correctly. The only negative which was minor, none of the pizzas were precut. Maybe that's how it's served here. The spatula cut through it. All things considered I'd give this restaurant 5 stars. Everything was great. We'll go back.

The pizza is amazing and a large cheese with no additional toppings is $14 which is a steal to almost every other pizza joint in DFW. While I am not a fan of pizza crust at most places, Mellow Mushroom has the best and it has pleasant flavor and chewiness to it. The only thing I think they could improve on is service. We’ve had the same waitress twice and both times, my boyfriend and I noticed she never once came back after getting our orders. We have to flag other wait staff to get the check and refills. We’re not very big on service and care more about the food so it’s not that big of a deal. I would just take into account that if you’re on a tight schedule, it could take 30 minutes to get your check after you finish eating.

We loved our experience at Mellow Mushroom! The ambiance was fun and the food was great. We got the Pacific Rim pizza and Cobb salad. The pizza was delicious and a unique taste we both enjoyed. The service was so friendly. We will definitely be back.

We had a Friday Night out in Downtown McKinney and was overwhelmed with our dinner at Mellow Mushroom. If your not overwhelmed with the atmosphere, you will be with the food and the service. It’s nothing like we have ever experienced in the past. If you haven’t yet given this first class pizza joint a try, you will not be disappointed.

Two Words describe my visit to Mellow Mushroom.
Those two word's would be Deliciously Good. Not only was is Deliciously Good, it was fun as well. We started off with The Cloud 9 wings. They were simply to die for. Perfectly prepared with just the right level of seasoning and sauce. From there we ordered the Kosmic Karma and The Holy Shitake pizza's. You seriously could taste the fresh ingredients. To make the experience simply fantastic, Brett was or server and he was fabulous.

First visit for our family. Pizza was fresh and flavorful. Special requests/substitutes were honored. Only negative was the speed of service. We dined in a Saturday afternoon and felt the pace was a little slow. It sure if they were short staffed or that is the norm. It won't deter us from returning, bc the food was great! We'll plan to just be seated a while.

Busy place, though we got seated right away (Saturday night). Very spacious and colorful inside. All the food was great (appetizers, salads, pizza, and drinks). Prices are reasonable. I definitely enjoyed all the food.

I must say, we really enjoyed the Mellow Mushroom! It was our first time visiting this establishment and we’ll definitely be coming back here! As a former New Yorker, it was great to finally have a decent slice of pizza 🍕 the drinks were strong but mixed well. The bbq wings were so good, that bbq sauce was outstanding. Don’t forget to order the beer cheese dip. WOW! I salvaged all of the dip and started dipping my pizza in it. I definitely recommend visiting here!

When they say the crust is thick here, they mean it, and it was very good and very filling

Over the last decade I've visited Mellow Mushroom maybe once a year, and I can say they're still just as good as the first time. Very consistent experience with both the old and the staff. Kosmic Karma is my go-to each time and still my fave.

Dropped in on a Friday night at about 6:00 pm with a party of 9. We were all seated in 10 minutes and drinks on the table 10 minutes later. Pizza, sandwiches and salads were out about 20 minutes after that. Food was very good and the staff could not have been more helpful. We really had a great time.

This place is great for vegans/vegetarians. My go-to pizza is the vegan veggie plus banana peppers and avocado. This was actually a surprise the first time I went as I told the person who answered the phone to choose any pizza for me. Now I order it everytime I go. But I cannot get the Thai vegan wings off my mind currently. The atmosphere is cool, casual, and fun. Definitely recoomend!

The food fantastic!! I've never been disappointed. The pizza crust is like no other. It's springy and yet crisp. Yummy! The hoagies are great too! There's a gluten free pizza crust and vegan options. The cocktails are great!! There's a nice bar there. Happy hour is Monday thru Friday.

First time here and it looks like a blast right when you walk through the door! Friendly people, food looks delicious, huge bar!

The pizza is amazing, the atmosphere is extremely welcoming and the servers and staff are very kind! Food is always wonderful no matter what I’ve tried.
