Bunuelo Factory

My father was Joe Ramos "The Barber". He was the one that shared this place with me. When he passed away, I had to look for The Bunuelos" because they used to be down the street on Basse Rd.
I am sad to hear that the owners are retiring. This has been such a long time tradition. The last one I have that was shared with my father.
Thank you with all my heart for those annual delicious Bunuelos. You will be truly missed.

These have to be THE BEST BUNUELOS around San Antonio I have had !!! I originally found them at one of my tamale places ( Victoria's on Division St. off 35S) , so I decided to go to the main location instead, only to find they were less expensive plus the staff are great too!!

Today ( 29th Of December.. 2023).. Was The Last Day You Would Be Able To Buy Any Buñuelos.. The Person Who Run This Business, Is Retiring.. And Selling The Business.. 😭🥺😞

You have to knock on the door because they keep the door locked. The guy working is very kind. The bunuelos are the best that you can find in the whole city! You will not be disappointed!

Bunuelos of differing sizes. Non greasy and wonderfully tasty. Great prices as well. Will definitely return & regularly so!

Visited Wednesday 11/16/22. Extremely pleased with products offered. Purchased 2 bags of 3 inch Buñuelos 50per bad.$12. 6 inch Buñuelos we're 25 bag $15. Not real busy. Easy access VIA bus 97. Looked great. Lot of cinnamon and sugar. Not too crispy. Took to District 5 senior center. Seniors loved them. Several asked for directions, etc. Many had heard of Buenuelo Factory but never venture in that direction especially now. Big hit. Late arrivals mostly bingo players were promised some soon.Big hit.

This item can be found at culebra meat market but it is not always fresh. At the actual building, it is more likely to be fresh. They offer mini bunuelos and the prices are really cheap. They don't usually have lines unless it is Christmas. It will have a line out the door but if you take cash and especially a lot of quarters you may get to the front of the line because they have ran out of change before. I think during holidays you are limited to the amount you can buy but that is because they are making them fresh while you wait in line and have a lot of customers. Any other day oh can walk in an out quickly. Knock on the door because they lock it. They probably will not see you if you do not try to get their attention. Parking is tough because you need to back out onto the street so maybe if you go to corner you can have a better way of leaving.

This place is awesome his bunuelos are good,the only bad thing g is not enough parking and it was a long long line have to wait 2 1/2 hours, but I think is worth it 😀
