Dry Dock Oyster Bar

Great old school beach bar vibes. Phenomenal food and great service at an affordable price. Can't beat it! Highly recommend stopping in here for some grub. The oysters are better than in Corpus (and not as expensive). The catfish is sooo good. Their tarter and cocktail sauces are on point and freshly made. Had them with my catfish, frog legs and hush puppies. Not sure what other peoples problem is, but it’s not expensive, the service was fantastic and the food taste 👍👍

36 weeks Pregnant mama reviewing here 😂, me and my husband had the Jalapeños stuffed with crabmeat cheese, was really good not overly spicy. Than we shared the fisherman’s platter and the Dry Dock’s sampler. I wish the corn on the cob came with the option to season it with something instead of it plain. The service was actually pretty good, and it wasn’t that expensive.

Today was our first time visiting Dry Dock Oyster Bar, we ordered Fish and Chips and Buffalo Chicken Wings, along with a beer and sweet tea, all was delicious. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful, definitely worth a visit.

This seafood restaurant is awesome and clean.
Impressed patio and bar seating areas
Crawfish and fresh raw oyster are must tasted.
Whole catfish is also must try.
Seafood is very fresh and well prepared.
We will be back again soon for gumbo and boudin

Probably one of the best oysters restaurants in the San Antonio area. The staff were frie dly and good customer service. The restaurant was known for their fresh seafood. The location is quite convenient. The food were delicious. We had a great time. Will definitely come backt o try the dozen half shell oyster and more frog legs. Highly recommend for visitor or local who wanna try new place and decent sea food restaurant. 👍

First timers! This place is a hidden gem. I can’t believe I’ve lived down the street for a year and half and never tried it. The food is really good. We ordered the oysters, shrimp Po boys, crawfish bisque and gumbo. 5 stars across the board. The customer service was awesome too! Shout out to Fiona! I highly recommend!

You are going to feel like you're down by the coast. Everything is very fresh. Great oysters. Tuesdays and Thursdays all you can eat shrimp and it comes three ways fried, boiled or peel your own. Nice big mugs of beer ICE COLD. Gracie was great very friendly very helpful. Need to put this on the regular agenda. As we were leaving I ran into an old friend that said her and her husband go there every Thursday night. She said they've been doing it for years so that should tell you something. I don't think anybody could leave disappointed, full and barely walking but not disappointed! PS don't forget to get extra Hush Puppies LOL

UPDATE... Still a good meal but, this visit left me a bit disappointed. Went on a Thursday for "all you can eat" shrimp but apparently it was "all we can get to your table" shrimp night. The servers were trying, but they said the kitchen lost their footing and couldn't keep up. I've been a server, a cook, a bartender and a manager. Things happen. I got that 100% but how a company rebounds from a "hick up" in a diners experiance is what will stay with their patrons. The servers were more than kind. I heard them having to apologize from table to table. As a manager, I would have hit the floor making sure the guests were not upset. A free dessert. A free or discounted meal. Even just an open apology for each table or each room might have been nice. I may be back, but if I do, if I see a lot of cars outside I may not want to risk this episode again.

The oysters were great. Yhe second we walked in the service was amazing. The bartender came out to take our order and was very personable and nice. Even introduced us to the kitten that hangs around outside who was just the sweetest thing ever. I'd post pics of the food but only got pictures of the kitten lol

Yummy Yummy Yummy!!! One of mine and my husband's favorite places to eat!!! They have the best Oyster Rockefeller, Calamari, and fried shrimp..And the service is always excellent.. Food always comes out hot... And again Sooooooooo YUMMY!!!!😁😁😁😁

Restaurant /Bar looks like a boat. Excellent fried fish shrimp & oysters. Friendly service. Nice beer selections. 2 👍 👍 up.

Nice wrap around bar... Had the Buffalo wings for an appetizer and the Wednesday special ( fried seafood ) 1 piece of fish, 3 shrimp and 3 oysters...yummy plate under $15.00. I'm a draft beer fan
They serve by the pint, stein, scooner and pitchers. Reasonably-priced dinning for 2 under $50.00. Roger and Karrie the bar tenders are fun and very attentive. Will definitely return.

Was told this place is a 40+ year SA landmark and I believe it. The food was very good and appropriately price. Will be back. The seafood gumbo was amazing, the oysters fresh and they shuck them right at the bar in front of you! Didn’t get the all you can eat shrimp, but saw plenty and it looked amazing! The servers were busting their butts to make sure everyone was happy with their experience, and were extremely personable! Definitely recommend.

This is an awesome place to just hang out. They shuck the oysters right in front of you. Great place to socialize. The food is great! This is the go to place for Raw and Rocks. Gonna throw down some crawfish later.

Went for the all you can eat fried,steamed,or cold shrimp every tues & Thur & accompanied with big ol mug of beer for $4.50 can't beat it been going for years it's been there since 1982 changed owners 3 times but still on point everything was great waitresses very attentive they've had my business & will continue to definitely go support.........

I will definitely be back. The food is amazing, staff is super friendly, atmosphere is great!! Totally recommend.

Had the friday special .It was great super hot and fresh and the service was nice .only complaint is more seasoning on the fish but everyone is diffrent .Place has great food and a great atmosphere will definitely go again

My son really wanted to try frog legs and I got the shrimp kabobs. The food was amazing. Delicious, fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend this place.

I havent been here in years, and the food is still great. They have shrimp Happy Hour starting at 1500, and $20 gets you all you can fried, baked, I think and one other, great price!!. Service was awesome, the bartender very attentive, and was working by herself, give her a raise!! I recomend this place and will be coming again.
