One of the best Indian store in San Antonio. The Owner is very nice and humble. When I was going to school we were collecting money for a non profit group, I approached him and he immediately donated the money. Recently, there was a update saying there could rice shortage. Most of the stores raised there prices twice and thrice. But the owner sold it at the same price and limiting 2 per family.👏👏 The store owner always take care of customers. He was also talking to his rice supplier over the phone when they mentioned there was a change in price. He wanted the same old price so they don’t have to increase the pricing on it. Keep up the good work going!!

It's a good indian grocery store you will find everything under one roof... the most important is humble lady ( amma ji) she will help you if you fail to fi.d any thing...

Love this store. A lot of the merchandise is fairly priced. I bought basmati rice. Masala, Moringa, Tiger balm, Eucalyptus oil, face masks, musk scented body soaps. Definitely will return.

To whom it may concern. Himalayan Bazar have perfect produce internationally. Indian style, I went inside the store it was so Himalayan Bazar. The square feet of the grocery store " lay out" was so different at every angle, aisles, etcetera. I was like, " I must be AMERICAN, NATIONAL CITIZEN. L.O.L. BORN AND RAISED". USA. Okay...needing a salad, buy veggies one by one. Needing ingredients " the Hispanic way, buy one by one etcetera". I went inside with EBT FOOD STAMPS I was like, I don't know what to buy??? Very good store with valuable pricing. 👍 I eventually bought a package of vanilla cookies, also a soda by the name of Limeca. Coca - cola product??? L.o.l With me it's a new Himalayan Bazar trend setter. L.o.l for me it is. Like I went inside a WHOLE different continent! L.o.l Not bad grocery store internationally at all inside Himalayan Bazar. God Bless America. Not off of topic.

Nice place to get south/north india grocery. They carry different rice brands and lot of Indian snacks. They also have India style vessels &kitchen utensils . Vegetables are fresh on Wednesday & Fridays

I love this place. I'm here for ash gourd and okra and their okra is very fresh. They have a good variety of Indian grocery items. They have an Indian Restaurant next door, buffet style....win win for me!

When all other stores were literally ripping off customers by hiking the price of rice, truly appreciate Himalayan store owners on keeping the prices as is.

If anyone is from Maharashtra, this shop has some brands that are rarely available elsewhere in San Antonio. We travel 3 hours to come to this shop for our Indian grocery as we don’t have any Indian store where we live. They also have fresh vegetables and a good collection of Indian kitchen utensils. The owner is extremely friendly and always helps us to load our car. They also have membership cards through which we earned decent amount of points. They deserve all the 5 stars 👍

I love this place. Indian and Pakistani groceries abound, from flours and spice, dal and produce, pickles and chutneys! What is not to love.

There are also a variety of frozen, prepared meals and breads for those times when meal preparation is too time consuming.

You can find cookware and home decor as well. Please check out the store if you're in the neighborhood.

Have been coming here over a decade.. bought a bunch of DVDs from the previous owners. They've got a good selection of items for the size of the store. Got some meswak toothpaste & ENO (life saver)... Amongst other items of necessity. The line is never too long, the employees are friendly.

Just moved to the area. The gent in the mornings is super cool. The gent in the evening is a bit more serious but he is cool also. The place is clean and has a pretty good variety of things to choose from
