Dr. Chartrand is great with kids. I've been going to his office for several years. I've never been to a doctor that cares more about the well-being of my family than he does. I'm the type of person that is often impossible to please and I've always been incredibly pleased with the care my children receive from this man. Dr. Chartrand is simply the BEST!

Absolutely wonderful with kids! He has such a great bedside manner, he listens and he doesn't judge you for your beliefs. Both of our kids see Dr. Chartrand and our oldest asks to go back and then talks about her Dr all the way home! It gives me peace of mind to know there are still doctors who care the way he does and doesn't rush you off so he can get to the next patient. If you're looking for a new doctor, look no further!

We’ve been to doctors in the past that rush you or don’t take your concerns seriously, so when it came to care for our son, I was already in my head thinking this may be another one of those doctors. Thankfully, I was wrong and Dr. Chartrand has done nothing but the best when it comes to care for him and our family. We are very fortunate to have him as our doctor and are grateful for the quality he provides. 10/10

Dr. Chartrand has been seeing our family for over a year and we couldn't be happier. He doesn't rush you through the visit, addresses all questions and concerns, and doesn't prescribe medicine unnecessarily. He's knowledgeable on many holistic and natural therapies and offers lots of advice about home care and prevention. He maintains a calm demeanor throughout the visit which always puts me at ease. And most importantly, my kids love coming to see him!

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Chartrand for a few years now and we have found him to be very thorough, patient, and kind. When I asked our grandchildren if the knew who our doctor is, they became so excited when I told them Dr. Chartrand. He is their doctor as well.

Dr Chartrand offers such a unique approach to medicine. I love the comfortable office setting and that he does the whole visit himself; height, weight and assessment. Nothing is missed and he is never rushed. They do a great job staying on time and in 7 years I’ve waited more than five minutes maybe once! Overall, we consider ourselves fortunate to have him as our family doctor!

We are so grateful for Dr Chartrand and his staff! The office staff is so warm, kind and professional each time I call (which is more frequent than most as a first time mom of a newborn). Dr Chartrand is kind, professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. Our son had colic and we saw DRAMATIC improvement within the first 12 hours after following his suggested protocol! He also gave us suggested reading materials which were invaluable to us. He truly treats us as a team in the care of our son- providing options for treatment with the risks/benefits clearly presented. We cannot say enough good things about him and his staff and feel so fortunate to have found them!

We have been seeing Dr. Chartrand for several years and couldn't ask for a better doctor! He is great with our kids and offers amazing care. From coughs and colds to major medical issues he has helped us through each step. Great medical care is only enhanced by a wonderful staff.

I absolutely adore Dr. Chartrand's bed side manner. He listens and gives you several options for treatments. He is always friendly and his staff is very helpful also. I have suffered with migraines for YEARS and he is the first doctor to finally give me some hope and some answers. He has given me relief even specialists couldn't. Highly recommend.

My whole family has been seeing Dr. Chartrand exclusively since the birth of our first child 5 years ago. I have nothing but great things to say. Holistic, balanced approach. Pro Vaccine but also pro parent informed choice and provides options. Reasonable cash prices. Gives you his personal cell and provides after hours care for a very reasonable fee. Located in an adorable Victorian home off the square, complete with a wraparound porch for the kids to play. NEVER had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen. Love everything about this model of care, it's the old fashioned way and the way it should be still be done!!

Dr. Chartrand has been our Pediatrician for both of our children. He is caring and easy to talk to. We have utilized him mainley for our welless child check ups. Our son did fall and split his chin and Dr. Chartrand glued it back together and saved us a trip to the ER. We appreciate him greatly and have referred at least five other people to him and they have also been very happy with the experience.

We had a wonderful visit with Dr. Chartrand today. My son didn't even realize he received a shot. The office staff was friendly and helpful. We got in quick and the doctor took his time with us. Highly recommend!

Dr. Chartrand (and his office staff at that) go above and beyond. I trust Dr. Chartrand and appreciate that he will explain the reasons behind what is going on with my health and doesn't discourage me doing additional research at home to become more educated.

The feel of his office is comforting-he is located in downtown McKinney in an old renovated home just like country docs in the past.
Also, you just have to love the vintage ambulance parked out front.

Dr Chartrand's genuine warmth and compassion shine through every interaction, and there is just a general feeling of peace and comfort around him. He is smart and knowledgeable and at the same time down to earth with an abundance of common sense. I can't help feeling it was a lucky day for me when Dr Chartrand decided to practice in McKinney!

You can’t find a more compassionate, caring, dedicated doctor than Dr.Chartrand! He will go above and beyond more than another other doctor. He has a wonderful office with a separate sick entrance! Dr. C really loves what he does and it shows. He will sit and listen to all your concerns and address them not just throw meds at you and push you out a revolving door.
