Tom Lasseter South Lamar Neighborhood Park

Beautiful park!! Nestled in a canopy of trees and a beautiful neighborhood. Love the feel of this park. Our six year old loved it. We brought a toy monster truck, and he enjoyed rolling in down the slide and we played hide and seek with it too. Just pee before hand -- NO BATHROOM!! Lots of restaurants in the area... Get food/bathroom break afterwards! About 10 parking spots I think? We went at around 10am on a Wed and it was empty. (All the kiddos were in school, we played hooky from outta town!)

This is one of our favorite parks in Austin! It has a treehouse-like design. The kiddos can climb up the trunk of the treehouse....the inside is hollow and has steps. Very shaded park so we enjoy going in the summer as well.

Beautiful park, felt like a nice little escape from the city, and my 4 year old loved it. Beautiful, big trees provided nice shade. Very pretty place👍

This is such a cute and quiet park. It's small, but it has all the things you need. They have a big playscape, picnic areas with grills, a covered patio area, a basketball court and a small trail that surrounds the whole park. There is a water fountain but I didn't see any restrooms. Parking seems to not be an issue so I recommend you stop by.

Small but very pleasant neighborhood park. Reasonably well enclosed for dogs.

Small and quaint, cute playground and lots of seating. Got to experience the eclipse here!

Beautiful park, took my son here to end his birthday night after spending the day out in the city.

Locals are very friendly and park is small but perfect.

Grills to cook bbq and water fountain for both your fur babies and you.

Playground nice and unique with the tree house theme.

Quiet little neighborhood park with a playground and basketball courts.

Super relaxing and serene park. My girls enjoyed petting the well behaved dogs, catching fire flies and jumping all over the jungle gym.

Adorable, quiet little park with a jungle gym, basket ball court, and picnic tables. Easy parking in front. No bathrooms.

Enjoyed grilling with friends, park is off the road a bit, which is pleasant

Love taking my dog to this park for walks. Has some parking. Great small loop trail for daily walks and a playground. You shouldn't ride bikes here due to the foot traffic.

Great little park tucked away in south'ish Austin.

A few grills and picnic tables, a covered area, half court basketball and a really sharp playground.

I hadn't been to this park in a while and was pleasantly surprised with the upgrades. This park is small, but I've never had to share it with more than a handful of people.

The parking area is nice and shady but you can't keep a watchful eye on your vehicle due to to the trees.

Lovely little park with great shade from a bunch of old Texas live oaks, and a Pokemon Go Gym located there

Bittersweet. Seeing so much of the area cut down and given to developers and knowing I'll never fly another kite there saddens me. However I'm grateful the pavilion is there to provide necessary shelter against a gullywasher of an unexpected rainstorm

Great place to take the children to play on the playground scapes, but they lack swings and monkey bars great place to walk.

Peaceful nice park and neighborhood. Has playground and basketball hoop and two 4 tables and benches.
