Megan performed my ultrasound today and she was so polite and thorough. I had to leave a review because you truly don’t always get that type of care. She made me feel comfortable which unknowingly made me feel hopeful. With my mother who is currently battling her health it’s easy to be fearful when trying to get answers on your health issues. I’m a little less of that after being seen today. The front desk was also very polite and friendly.

My husband and I have been seeing Rachel CRNP and wanted to say that she is AMAZING! She truly cares about her patients and listens. She doesn’t rush through appointments and is very thorough. Excellent. 15 extractions at once, minimal issues with this, new teeth were created with the latest digital software in Birmingham, picked up by a Doctor from this Hoover location and waiting for us, we left with them in my mouth, this same day, 4/11/23. All the Doctors, nurses, even a first day trainee RN here were pleasant, gracious, knowledgeable, informative, reassuring.
A small army of problems within have diminished or evaporated completely thanks mostly to this surgery. If you have any dental issues see about them sooner not later, and go here.

New, clean, 2 story modern UAB Medicine facility. The check-in desk will assist and direct you to all Drs and labs in building. Check in ahead of time to save time. Free parking out front and sides. Coffee, ice cream, food, and shopping in easy walking distance.

All of the staff greet you with a sense of pride in helping to make your visit with them, just like home.
Dr. Katie Bean! Meeting her was like meeting a new friend. She talks with love and very attentive to the best care for your medical needs. I was all bubbly when I left to know that she & her husband will be expecting their 1st baby in December. I pray well wishes and a healthy baby to arrive soon. Even though I may not have to see her again. She has left a great place in my heart. Thanks Doc😍

I have NEVER received care as good as when I went to UAB Medicine. My lab results were back within 6 hours and the doctor communicated with me about each one. I received calls by the end of the day for referrals and appointments made as soon as I said the choice was agreeable. Amazing people and attitudes. Everyone wanted to be there to work and help the patients.

Great experience with mammogram last week. Bright clean friendly atmosphere. I am going to find a primary care physician here next week for my checkup that is due. Love location parking and ease of overall access to the facility.

Highly recommend Dr Kinard and his staff. My initial visit exceeded expectations. Worked in same afternoon for urgent problem.
He and his resident gave Thorough attention to risk/benefit of procedure options given my complicated medical history. A plan was made that makes sense for me, and took into consideration my concerns—which were many. He is obviously intelligent. But kindness and staff going the extra mile in every way truly made my experience 10/10.

It was great. I was done in an hour. I got a mammogram and a Mirena. I love Mrs. Robinson. She was informative and nice. This was my first time getting a mammogram and it went smoothly. Thanks again ladies. They have a wonderful staffer too.

I have the best doctor (Lisha Thornton) in the world she is very patience with each of her patients, not only does she help to keep us in great health, she takes time to listen to us and not rush us as if we are in an assembly line. She is caring and loving and just a people person who really cares and is not about just serving us to get a paycheck. I am very grateful and thankful for her.

The staff at UAB Medicine Hoover has went out their way to ensure I had full access of communication due to my deafness and ensured that I had an interpreter.

The facility was clean and organized. My questions and concerns were answered in the best way possible so I could fully understand. I am forever grateful that they took the time to ensure that I get the best care possible.

Had a wonderful TeleHealth visit with Dr. Emily Staples. Setting up an appointment through UAB was fairly easy and every single person I spoke with from-scheduling, to my nurse (Jackie), to the doctors who met with me were so pleasant and positive. I felt listened to and that time was taken to address all of my concerns and thoughts. Even though things are a bit different during COVID-19, my visit went almost smoother than any other doctor's visit and without office waiting time. I was able to get quality care right to fit right into my work day. They were also super prompt following up to make sure everything was taken care of. Kudos to y'all! Thank you for working so hard everyday!

Highly recommend Hoover GI Surgery. and doctor Gunnells. They did a great job of getting me checked in quickly,. The waiting time in the waiting room was less than two minutes. This is my second time seeing Dr. Gunnells. He was in the room right after the nurse took my vitals. He followed up on my first visit and we both decided it would be best to wait to have surgery at this time. I decide later I want to have surgery, for me to call for an appointment and we would discuss surgery at that time.

UAB West Freestanding ER was surprising fast and easy! Last May I had a fall that required stitches on my knee and we had never been to this location before. We didn't know what to expect considering COVID changes and most of my ER visits at other hospitals previously had taken several hours. I walked in and got out in just over an hour! They are a well oiled machine - I didn't wait in the waiting at all, I was in a room in minutes, seen by a nurse within 5 minutes, seen by Dr. King in 10 minutes, they did check-in by phone while I was in the room to reduce exposure in the waiting room, and I was walking out in record time. Very impressed by Dr. King and everyone there. Much appreciated!

New Office is beautiful.. Dr. Thorton is my Dr. very sweet lady. I know I’m in good hands. All the nurses have always been very sweet when i go in. I wanted to brag on NP Philip.. he is a very great listener..I’ve seen him once before and he was great then..and I was always the person who wants to see my Dr and if i couldn’t i would not go....but he is amazing.. people need to know NP’s are so amazing and work just as hard to care for us just like our Dr’s! i loved how he took so many things into consideration during my visit and i didn’t feel rushed.. he’s a caring man. God bless you all there who genuinely care. Stay that way! Need more people like this in the health field!

Dr. Davaluri is a great doctor. She has overseen my healthcare for years and I have always felt heard, considered, and involved. She never makes me feel rushed either. The new facility is spacious and has new high tech features.

I love visiting UAB Medicine Hoover. The staff is professional and friendly from the front door until completion of the visit. My doctor is Sameera Davuluri and her assistant is Lovie and they are the best team ever! I would recommend Dr. D any day.
