Hampton Inn Martinsburg

Visiting a friend in West Virginia and got a good rate for the three days that I was there. The staff is extremely friendly. One of the staff , Larry asked my dog’s name and he remembered it from the first day I gave it to him and always greeted him. “Judah “” Very good breakfast, clean, and the attendant, friendly and helpful. My room was clean and I felt safe there. I will be staying at other Hampton Inns!… Only one request, that they have an option for serving turkey, sausage or beef sausage but that’s it🙂

We were traveling home from Florida and only stayed the night.
The service at the reception desk was very friendly and they had chocolate chip cookies! Our room was attractive, comfortable, and clean. There were several places to eat within walking distance. We ate at the Msrtinsburg Family Diner, which was very good.

I really like this Hampton Inn. When I am traveling and nearby I always go to this hotel. I've stayed here a few times and the staff are polite and friendly. The rooms are nice and comfortable.

Very clean and comfortable. Beds were particularly comfortable. Plenty of room, desk is sizable enough to do any kind of remote work there.

Breakfast was standard but fresh.

A LOT of restaurants within mere walking distance.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Place is right next to 81. Perfect for travelers to rest their heads and pick up the next day right where you left off.

Great hotel and a great location. Many good restaurants nearby. Rooms always clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Never disappointed. Highly recommend it

Pool is closed which is fine cause it's not that time of year.... other than that no complaints (WiFi sucks)

Nice big beds, surprisingly good service, far enough from the road that you can get some well needed rest!!!

Spacious rooms, just not a fan of the closet that has a curtain as a door and it is only 1ft wide. Loved the 24/7 coffee bar and breakfast was amazing with lots of hot food. We had a blast in the pool. Everything was very clean. Rooms are big enough to bring an extra air mattress it pack n play.

We stay here a good bit because my parents go to the VA Center for appointments. We stayed last week for a couple nights and I have to say it was so much more cleaner then our last stay. The lady at the desk is the lady that my parents loved last visit but she was doing breakfast then. She always goes out of her way to help us and make sure everything is almost perfect for us. Also the man doing breakfast now is also great! All your staff are friendly and helpful. Keep up the great work Hampton of Martinsburg!

Very nice hotel, located in a great area, close to shops, restaurants, and interstate 81. They were doing construction when I was there, so the lobby was a bit haphazard, but no complaints. They have an awesome outdoor pool too, so that's a plus!

We stayed a few times as a halfway point for a north/south journey. The rooms are clean and recently upgraded. The hotel is located next to rt 81. There are plenty of places to eat. It has a complimentary breakfast with waffles, cereal, etc. The price was right. It's a five star for the price and location and breakfast.

One of my favorite locations to stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff, perfect location and comfortable bed.

Room was well appointed and comfortable. Superb strong coffee during breakfast hours in lobby. I’ve been to several Hampton Inns lately that served very weak coffee and was disappointed but not this location.

Cleanliness and convenience was excellent. Contemporary rooms and bathrooms and makes you feel right at home. No fuss kind of place. Complimentary breakfast was very good set aside from the rubbery hard boiled eggs. 😬 Everything else was pretty good though. They get clever with their scrambled eggs. Putting cheese, a little bit of jalapenos and my Bf claims there were onions in them too. They were good! Bacon was plentiful and lots of variety in bread products and baked goods and more. After breakfast I went to the lobby restroom to wash my hands and noticed the women's bathroom had complimentary feminine hygiene products neatly placed on a shelf. I thought that was super thoughtful when I saw it and that really stood out to me that this hotel puts a lot of thought in how to make a stellar guest experience. Plenty of towels were set on conveniently placed shelves next to the sink along with other toiletries we may need. Super comfortable stay. Really appreciate the upkeep and hard work of the staff here. Would definitely stay again. The only thing I didn't love was the sliding door to the bathroom in the hotel room. It's convenient because it doesnt swing open but weird because their is little privacy if someone is stinking up the bathroom or making related sounds. Doorway pretty much isn't sealed off only covered visually by the door. Convenient mirror on the door though.

Soooo, pics were taken after my husband and I swept through the room but it goes to show how clean, organized, and neat the hotel workers keeps this place. It stills looks very well kept although we have stuff all over the room and bathroom. I forgot to get pics of other areas i.e., the dining room, kitchenette, gym, vending, etc and outdoor but please trust when I say all of it was as nice as anyone should expect of this business and environment.

We received a very warm welcome. The intoxicating compelling smell of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, and oatmeal raisin cookies enveloped our senses even before we were invited to help ourselves, which before we realized it, the cookies were in our hands and crossing the threshold of our lips. And would you believe it, the cookies were every bit as good as the hype of their smell.
The service was Great and really friendly and professional.
The rooms were Clean and truly Comfortable.
They exceeded both our expectations and desire after a long days travel.

My family really enjoyed this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Debbie in the Kitchen is amazing. This is by far the best inclusive breakfast I've had in a while. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the beds and pillows were great. I have no complaints.

Great location with good restaurants next door. Easy on off.

Not a bad hotel HOWEVER, I reserved a room 3 months in advance. Requested at floor due to being handicap... Well i was put on the second floor allllllll the way at the end of the hall.... And lets talk about the bathroom.... Room was clean and gorgeous but the toliets were so lpw to the floor a kindergarten kid could sit on it properly not a nornal sized adult. Me and the boyfriend both were confused. Then the shower..... Slippery as could be yea they had a bar in it but my bf ia not handicap and he even slipped coming out of it.. Unhappy tbh that wasnt a cheap stay and i dont like close 5.5+ hours away. Nice room and staff but the bad outweighed the good
