Both clerks that I worked with were pleasant and helpful. The entire process was streamlined and easy to get in/out in a reasonable amount of time.

Good experience renewing my driver's license. Arrived early and done in 30 minutes. If you have your paperwork prepared you can breeze right through. Very kind and efficient
staff.

I'm not one to look forward to DMV visits - the mere thought makes me anxious. The fear of something going wrong or hours of waiting only to discover a missing document is nerve-wracking. However, my recent experience with this DMV completely shattered my expectations. I had scheduled my appointment in advance, and upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to find there wasn't even a long line for walk-ins. The standout feature was the clerk who reviewed my documents right away, ensuring I had everything required. This preemptive check spared me the agony of waiting endlessly only to be told I lacked a necessary document. The entire process, from getting my car registered to obtaining a new license, was remarkably smooth. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I would genuinely recommend this DMV to anyone in need. It's a game-changer.

Best experience I've had at a DMV. There was a bit of a wait at the initial line but I had an appointment and was seen within minutes of checking in. Also checked ahead to see what documents I needed so I'm sure that helped. Will always book an appointment if I can!

i love this particular wv dmv location. i've visited numerous times and staff have always been helpful, respectful, and friendly even when i've shown up end of day very near closing time. most recently, i had a particular issue in completing some paperwork and they worked with me to find viable solutions. a very pleasant and very helpful team each time i've visited.

It really wasn't that busy when I took my son in to take his driving test. The instructor was very well-mannered and we were only there for about an hour for the whole experience. I'm glad he did so well!

Very quick and ez, people were very helpful. A big improvement over previous performance.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Was able to get WV DL and register two cars with just one visit.

Surprisingly, my time there went smoothly. It was the 2nd time I have been, the first a straight mess. However, I was prepared like nobody's business. I also made an appointment....I can not stress this enough. If you don't, you will wait in a line that goes out the door like I saw this morning. Everyone was genuinely nice.

Wait time was limited. The individuals that waited on me were very knowledgeable & kind. I experienced quick and thorough help., This office is great in my opinion. 💜💜💜

Wow,i was there to renew my drivers licence,and was waited on within 1 minute.had picture taken, and was out of there within 30 minutes..

I must say this trip to the DMV was the best experience I've ever had, so for that it was a great experience

The line was a little slow as to be expected with any DMV experience I've had, but once I was past the check in experience, I was called up to the counter before I could finish filling out the paperwork. the people were very kind and helpful, patient and answered all of my questions and handled my multiple items and transactions with ease even though I was transferring stuff from another state, they were most helpful and I was out and about way before I thought I would be. Everyone I talked to from start to finish was wonderful. I read some negative reviews before I went here, and there was multiple people in line with me that didn't have the proper paperwork required for what they wanted. I know it's frustrating waiting in line for a hour to be told you cant do what you wanted to do today, but if you do a little research or call ahead even, it will save you allot of headache. I simply googled what I would need before I went and it was a easy process from start to finish. Only complaint is they were a little under staffed but they handled the work load very well in my opinion, I'll continue to come to this location for all my DMV needs.

Service was quick and the people were wonderful quick and efficient !

It was good except for the Kiosk, I typed the right button's over and over and it kept printing out the one above or below. Needs dire Repair.

It was fine once inside. Was there before it opened. Waited in line close to an hr after i made it in the door. Giving it a high rating only because the two people that took care of me was so nice, and very helpful. The wait made me wish i would of done it online. Have a nice day!

I just moved from North Carolina to West Virginia and this is my first time living in another state. Christine at the counter was so incredibly kind and helpful. She walked me through everything she was doing and directed me to the next office I’d need to go to. She even recommended restaurants for me to visit that were near where I’d be going. The wait time may have been long but that wasn’t too surprising for the DMV.

The staff at the door were very kind and patient. Appointments are seen first so wait was long, but I got everything I needed and was out quickly once I got inside. Just be aware they don't guarantee walk-ins will be seen, we made it in in time but some others were turned away.

They were pretty good all things considered. Went a week ago and stood in the walk-in line on the right. They came outside had me fill out a form and then called me to schedule an appointment because they were too busy. I got the appointment 6 days later and stood in the appointment line on the left this time. Clean building, decent area and good staff.
