Always have a great experience at Blue Moon. Food is always delicious and staff friendly. They have a great indoor and outdoor environment. Some of my favorite menu options are the Reuben and the burgers. The Reuben has a lot of meat and is very flavorful, and the burgers are always cooked perfectly and with the perfect amount of toppings. Highly recommended!

This place was great! If I could give more than 5 stars on atmosphere, I would. The food was great, service was perfect. A slightly wider on tap beer selection would be the only thing that could have been better. Highly recommend.

The coziest little restaurant in Shepherdstown, WV. Wether you sit inside or outside, it’s the cutest little atmosphere. The crab dip was absolutely heavenly. I can’t wait to go back and give this place another try! Our waitress was so sweet and helpful.

Fantastic place! I called a few days in advance about reserving a table for a large group for a Saturday evening. Friday I called again to request an additional seat. Each time I called the staff who answered were friendly and helpful.

The table was ready for us when we arrived Saturday. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Our orders were all correct and the food was great! Prices are more than reasonable for the portion sizes. They weren't oversized, only one person needed a box, and a few of us ordered dessert, but none of our party of nine left hungry. They were out of a few dessert choices, but those who wanted dessert were all able to find something they wanted.

We had a great evening and our out of town guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

I have eaten here twice at the suggestion of and with friends. The food was very good, as was the service. I appreciated the selection of vegetarian items. The atmosphere is quaint! It does get busy!

This is my favorite cafe to stop at when visiting Shepherdstown! We came on a beautiful spring day, so we had the opportunity to access the outside seating!
I got the Black & Bleu burger with fries, and she got a Chicken Caesar salad with a side of fries!
All of the staff are really friendly. It is a very welcoming environment with delicious food! Support local!

I dined with two friends at the Blue Moon Cafe after a morning walking the grounds of Antietam Battlefield. This was our first time eating here and we were delighted by the wide variety of menu options. One member of our group is on a vegan diet and had several dishes to choose from. Our server Claire was warm, welcoming, and very helpful answering our menu questions. Our food came out promptly and Claire made sure we were well taken care of. I enjoyed the Triple B Burger, and was not disappointed. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great meal when visiting the area!

Food and service was excellent. Appropriately priced. The real treat is the outdoor atmosphere. Even though you are downtown, you feel as though you are in the middle of a forest. With trees, leaves on the ground and a stream running down the middle.

Loved lunch at this place! Sat outside area that has plastic walls. Beautiful plant life and stream running through the middle of the property. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Walk in and reservations accepted.

Cute decor everywhere, nice atmosphere, attentive & friendly staff, GREAT food! We got the Black and Bleu burger and Black Bean Burger with fries. So delicious- the crust of the bun was crispy, fries were crispy, meat was sooo juicy. I highly recommend this! I'll make sure I come here more than once in a blue moon.

Alejandro (Al) and Cassidy took good care of us! My husband had tacos and I had the burger and fries. Both had beautiful presentations. We ate outside under an arbor as we were expecting rain. No rain, but gorgeous ambiance and charm in this sweet OASIS

Fun for fans of the whimsical who just want some old fashioned dining and lovely patio. We went on a nice Autumn day, 65 degree weather, next to the creek and couldn't be beat. Menu was full of choices, mostly Americana sandwiches, but also a daily quiche. I had the crab sandwich, and boyfriend had the Black & Bleu and both were fantastic for $13. Came with sides.

A pride flag in the window and a welcoming staff. If you are looking for a little slice of progressive in a state not known for letting past history go, this is a good spot. The food was fine— standard pub-like choices. But the patio is adorable and atmosphere is charming.

Nice atmosphere. Really nice to sit outside under the trees. Food is excellent. I love the quiche, my son enjoyed the pilgrim sandwich, and my husband loved the meatball sub and also the the porkie sandwich last week. Yes, we've been here twice in a week on our trip up and then back down the east coast. We definitely will stop here again when we are in the area.
