C's Cake & Coffee House

I really enjoyed my experience. The owner is very kind. She even heated my scone. Which was delicious. ❤ and they made my iced coffee just right! I will be back!

I'm a Grub Hub driver. I only walked in to pick up an order for a diner. Happened to meat the Barrista, Avery, she was so dope! Friendly, Hardworking and empathetic. I spent my last $12 here on food I didn't even intend to buy! I thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you, Avery for being a super dope individual. She needs a raise or something, Cynthia! 😊. Dope dope experience! Say a prayer for this Turkey Bacon Avocado and this Chocolate Chip Avocado she recommended 🤤

Amazing place here! I never been here before and some people suggested this place. I love the atmosphere here. The lady who suggested my coffee was friendly! She gave us recommendations on what’s really good. I got the toasted marshmallow latte. And my wife got chai tea latte. Talked to the owner for a few and she was nice as can be. The place is decorated for Halloween and it puts a good vibe here. I would definitely come back and try more coffee when I’m in town. Thank you!

This gives Starbucks a run for their money. On the left, Caramel macchiato, on the right is a apple cinnamon coffee with oatmilk. Both drinks were outstanding. We will be returning to try a piece of cake. Staff is extremly welcoming and helpful.

This is a must visit Coffee, Cakes, Italian Desserts and Delicious Sandwiches. in the City of Montevallo. I like to try something new at every restaurant so I tried the Turkey, bacon and avocado panini with pasta salad. YummY Yum Yum! Cold coffee with caramel was delish. Finally, the decor was conducive for a working lunch utilizing wifi. Easy parking. **Update** Have received an email stating the lunch menu now has $5 options which includes sandwich, Kettle Chips or pasta salad and a drink.

I have been on the hunt for a good local coffee spot for some time since my move here, and I am so happy I stopped in for lunch after class.

The staff: super friendly.

The food: Delicious, I 100% recommend the pesto chicken wrap, the portions are just right for a lunch serving. Normally I’m not a fan of macaroni salad but this place does it RIGHT.

The atmosphere: Adorable. Fun music and also calm enough to sit and study a while.

The coffee: Very flavorful, stronger than Starbucks and also smoother. I got a toasted marshmallow latte and it was amazing. They have cute kitchen items and knickknacks for sale.

Went today for the first time. Had the Turkey bacon avacado sandwich with pasta salad and a caramel frappe. I consumed it all. It was great. Better than the food tho was the service. The girls were lovely. Great caring customer service is hard to find and they were just sincere and genuine people.

Friendly staff. Great menu options. It is an excellent atmosphere, for both studying and casual conversations. Nice pre-made salads. Different breakfast and light fare options. Great outdoor seating options, too.

They took the sandwich I wanted off the menu, but that's no matter. The cashier suggested 2 of his favorites and I tried the chicken bacon and ranch. It was the best sandwich I've had in a long time. The place is spotless and so comfortable to relax in while you're eating. I recommend trying this place out. It's definitely worth it.

We loved finding this coffee place! The place is cozy and welcoming, we loved the cake we got (red velvet cheesecake...cake), the coffee was flavorful and hot. I am glad there is a local coffee shop back in Montello Main area-- I have missed having one since Eclipse closed. It is a unique local business that I am glad is only a few minutes away from me!

The cold brew and Americano here are delicious. The muffin we had was very good and I loved the atmosphere. This will definitely be a place that I stop by and get some work done while I enjoy a coffee every week.

Excellent food & service. Will definitely go back again. Their tomato basil soup & grilled cheddar was perfect for the cold weather. And my husband really enjoyed their Cuban sandwich.

Great coffee, dessert, and sandwich shop. Food is delicious and fresh. Love their signature coffees. Delicious take home freezer meals. Atmosphere is wonderful. Owner and staff are wonderful and kind. We love it here!

Decided to come back and revisit my first review of C’s. Since visiting the fist time and having a not-so-great experience, I decided to give them a second...and third...and fourth chance. Wow. I have made several “special” trips here to enjoy the salads and baked goods, and have even bought the white lasagne several times to take home and cook myself. Seems I’ve become very recognizable every time I come in, and I appreciate the personal attention...but most of all, I have come to love love love this place. Staff is outstanding and accommodating, and the food has jumped way up in quality AND quantity. Really enjoy you guys! I’ll be there often!! Very highly recommended.

A new and eclectic little coffee shop in has HUGE potential to be THE best local gathering place in the area. Today was my first visit; sadly I was very disappointed. Approaching the quaint house and entering was very inviting and interesting. Looked like a place to stay and while and enjoy. Upon entering the small kitchen area where everything is displayed and made, I became super impressed. Then enter the two baristas on duty...one in training. The one that waited on me was obviously the experienced one, and copped an attitude as if I had interrupted her day. Almost put me off to the point of leaving. And the trainee wasn’t much better, catching on to what she had obviously observed. Paid more than $11 for a latte, an americano pour over, and a piece of coffee cake that was reeeaalllyy good, though slightly old. The coffee was absolutely terrible...more like coffee flavored tea. And no one said thank you at the end of the transaction...except me, trying to be nice. The food looked amazing...the pastries looked beautiful too. I will come back...the real test will come in a couple more visits and trying the chicken salad and something else from the coffee bar. “Spectacular,” as the owner is quoted from the “Shelby Review,” not even close. But there’s HUGE potential...if she’ll teach her baristas some manners and skill, or hire some with a shared passion for a spectacular experience.
