Super 8 by Wyndham Morgantown

Was staying here to visit family and honestly it wasn't bad. People at the front were nice and gave us the towels and pillow we asked for. The blanket on the bed was fairly thin and had what looked like cigarette burns but wasn't a big deal for my partner and I since we brought an extra blanket. We were only staying really for the place to sleep so didn't see what they offered for breakfast or anything like that. Overall I would stay again as nothing seemed dirty, maybe just a little older but definitely not a deal breaker.

I give this hotel five stars for their incredible pricing, super friendly, kind staff (Drista at front desk was amazing!). My room was lovely and very clean. They have EVERYTHING required (ironing board, coffee pot, refrigerator, microwave, and even continental breakfast). One of the best places I've stayed in as it was easily as nice as hotel that is supposedly "better." They have FAR better pricing here though. Without a doubt. Thank you for your kindness, Drista. Quick check-in. Made the reservation over the phone. Room was nice and clean. All of the staff at the desk that we encountered were very nice. They were very accommodating when we asked for a higher floor. The only complaint I have is there wasn't any hot water for the tea in the continental breakfast. Otherwise, all was great. There was plenty of comfy seating in the lobby to eat our muffins and cereal. (Pictures are from after the beds were slept in, sorry.)

I've been in and out of town for family in the hospital. This place has been a godsend. The location is really convenient, the staff are friendly, I'm happy with the rooms I've gotten, and for me occasionally seeing a cute dog in the lobby is a big plus too.

The lightswitch controls the lamp closest to the door, which is a little weird to figure out if the last person turned it off at the lamp. There was no shortage of easy to reach outlets every lamp had two. No need to go moving tables to find them by the bed, sofa or desk which is really nice. The coffee machine is one of those little one cup disk brewers and room has a mini fridge and microwave.

The breakfast isn't much right now during covid, but there's coffee, yogurts and a variety of granolas that actually makes me feel more comfortable than other hotels I've stayed in that encouraged people to eat in the lobby; especially coming and going from the hospital.

There's everything right there that you could walk to in maybe 5 minutes at most: Dollar Tree, arts & crafts store, book store, Hallmark, Edible Arrangements, a bank, clothing store (literally anything I've wanted to bring while visiting the hospital was right there plus the gas station has beer for me after getting back from a stressful day visiting).

The staff was excellent. I made a mistake with my reservation and they were able to fix it no problem. My room was nice, roomy, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great. I would definitely recommend

Front desk staff were friendly. Room was clean and had an abundance of outlets. Conveniently located. Will stay again.

I don't usually write reviews but I have to say that this hotel is perfect for those of us that don't want fancy and high priced but want clean and reasonable. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. My son is going to college here and I'm sure I'll be back. I will always stay at this Super 8.

It was a great experience! Very clean room and bathroom ... two ladies asked to clean the room 😀 great American traditional breakfast, place is very well maintained by Bruce the manager and the friendly stuff ! Will stay here again and recommend it 👍

My son was coming home from Washington DC when he ran into a terrible snow storm. He called me and said that it was white out conditions and there were cars in the ditch everywhere. It was getting very late when he called me and said he can’t even see the road anymore. I was very worried about him to say the least. He was still 5 hours away from home. I told him to pull off at the next exit and I would try to find out where he was. He was near Morgantown PA. I called the nearest hotel which was the super 8. I explained to the lady what was going on and that he was not old enough to get a room. I’m sure I was talking fast as I was worried. She said back to me in a calm voice, “sir, it’s ok. He’s about 3 miles away. Send him to us and we ll take care of him!’ I was so relieved. He called me when he got there and said they helped him get checked in and that he was safe and sound. CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH SUPER 8!!!!🙏🏼

Our stay went wonderfully. The new management that took over a few weeks prior are really trying to change it around! They went above and beyond to accommodate our family and dog! Highly recommend giving them a chance!

The room was very clean, staff was very nice. Very quiet and comfortable beds. Great location with lots to do nearby.

Excellent place. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Wifi is a bit slow. Price was great for a place like this. Many restaurants are near by the motel. This is the best and the least expensive motel in Morgantown.

Nice quiet place . Beds comfortable I basically live in motels . As i work on the road bunch of restaurants around gas station good little spot so if you look for good little spot I recommend this place

First time I've been to a super 8 but this hotel is alot better than others I've stayed at. Clean rooms, continental breakfast, clean fridge and microwave. And it's right across the street from Wendys and Outback.

Very decent for a budget hotel. The staff were 5 star helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay again next time I am in the area.

Great rooms, ckean, big, nothing worn out and plenyy of electrical outlets!

We have king business suite with a jacuzzi tub and it's great! Would definitely stay here again!

Great friendly staff rooms aren't bad either I've been to better but all @ the same time I've been to worse. if it helps I'd stay there again.

Very clean, very friendly staff. Very reasonable price. Great place for a quick stop. Just missing coffee in the morning.
