Terra Café

What a gem!
Our brunch was delicious and beautifully presented. The menu included vegan, gluten-free, and vegetarian delicacies as well as wonderful salmon and the best crispy bacon ever. We enjoyed a view of the river on the outdoor patio overlooking a river trail.
There's also a closed in heated section for rainy days.
Fresh flowers and local artwork were beautifully displayed and for sale.
While we were sipping our specialty coffees, anticipating fantastic little deserts, our dog got a fresh bowl of water

Quality food in a charming space! The coffee was delicious. Everyone in our party loved their breakfasts! Two power pancakes were too much for me, but my kids helped me out. Definitely will come back if we are in Morgantown again.

The lunch food was really good--between the three of us, our group had two salads and the salmon omega club which was quite tasty. We arrived at 11:30 and missed the breakfast options by an hour, which was sad.
The desserts were actually a bit disappointing; they were absolutely gorgeous, just not very flavorful. And one cupcake was a bit dry. The key line pie, however, was delicious.
The atmosphere was awesome. They seemed to have art up from local artists, I expect, available for purchase too.
The service people were very friendly and helpful as well. Overall it was a really good experience!

My wife and I have visited Terra Cafe on a number of occasions and have always enjoyed the food, coffee, service and atmosphere. They have been consistent with everything as far as being a quality cafe. We went there today as we were on a hiking/bike trail which the trail goes very close to the establishment making it a great destination point while riding our bikes.

My 1st time at Terra Cafe, which was the 1st open mic night as well!!! What a treat and the there are treats for your tummy as well!!! After much contemplation I chose a slice of Peunut Butter Bar & one of the most extreme Chocolate aka"Chocolate Killer" cupcake I've ever had!!! Terra Caffe also has a variety of sandwiches, wraps, soups and more. There are several types of brew on tap as well as some of the standard beers and alcoholic beverages, non alcoholic fruit drinks & slushies & veggie drinks to name a few!!
The open mic was hosted by local musical artist Samuel James. The music was very entertaining...amazing the local talent around Morgantown.
So if your looking for a new chill spot with good food, drinks & service, make Terra Cafe that place!!

Always great local fresh food, the bakery is like going to a gourmet shop - each item is a work of art! and YUMMY. Just look at these Key Lime pies :-). Allison and Dylan are the best! Thanks!

They have something for everyone, gluten free, they have it; vegan they have that too.
I know some people say they have so many great review 'I don't need to post anything'. But sometimes I post so the business and the people that work there know they are appreciated. :-)

BTW I do sincerely appreciate the fact that they sell and package their items in paper :-) I know that the other stuff is often cheaper, so here is one patron that is grateful for that.

Very happy and satisfied with the experience. We had a grilled vegetable salad that was delicious, the combination of the sweet flavors of beets, tomatoes, and fennels, of the spices and the crispiness of the spinach was a perfect choice. The sandwich was a roast beef with chimichurri. Top place!

Best meal I've had from there yet, and none have been disappointing! The togo valentines option was the perfect option for my wife and I! My favorite part was the app. That prosciutto puff pastry was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended. 10/10 A++

Like most of the non chain restaurants in Morgantown, Terra Café gives off a very laid back vibe. We went on a Sunday for breakfast and they were quite busy. The hostess said it was gonna be a 15-20 minute for only two of us which I was a little surprised by. With that said, along side the hostess desk is a counter for ordering drinks. This was a great way to pass the time. We ordered the London fog, which was very good and sipped that as we waited. It only turned out to be a 5-10 minute wait which went by quickly. We were able to look at menus as we waited also. This gets me to the next thing I really love about newer restaurants. Short menus. I believe there were only 8 items, not including sides and drinks, on the menu. This is a great change from the clogged up and confusing dictionaries your neighborhood Applebee's will hand you. Everything sounded amazing and it was genuinely hard to choose what to eat. I went with the breakfast burger and my girlfriend got the French toast with a side of red skinned potatoes. The wait was a little long, but well worth it. The music choice was good, as it is in most of the restaurants in Morgantown. The waitress was very nice and quick. She only bothered us when we needed it and that's rare. When the food did come, I could tell it was good from the smell alone. The presentation was pleasant also. I had fresh fruit on the side of my burger, and it was truly fresh. Then I bit into the burger. The burger itself was cooked medium rare, which I didn't even ask for, but it was a good surprise. The fried egg gushed as I bit into it. When I return it'll be hard to order anything other than the breakfast burger. The bacon was crispy and not burnt. My girlfriend's French toast and potatoes were also delicious. The price was very reasonable for the fresh, homemade meal we were served.

The atmosphere is relaxed and includes indoor and outdoor seating. The food was pretty good but the coffee and desserts were the stars of the show. The coffee was fantastic. They have locally roasted beans. The desserts are made at the cafe and the cafe has a variety of desserts available. We enjoyed both desserts we tried, especially the carrot cake. Finding a good carrot cake can be difficult, but their carrot cake was wonderful.

Terra cafe is the first place I tell Morgantown visitors to dine! The plant-based options keep me coming back. I love the smoothies and vegan almond joy bar. Although some items are pricey, the size and quality of ingredients makes it worth it. The Thai tofu wrap and roasted veggie salad are my favorites! I would suggest adding vegan cheese to the menu.

The gluten free French toast with sides of chicken sausage and fruit was scrumptious! I had to double check with the server because I couldn't believe how tasty the gluten free bread was that they used. Next time, I will be buying a loaf to take home.

What a cute cafe! Came in for brunch on a Sunday. Great atmosphere here, the pastries are quite tasty, and it's right by a park for kids near the river. Had the eggs benedict with potatoes, definitely delicious, and the base seemed to be an ultra soft bagel or something that was super fluffy. Would love to come back sometime!

Simple sandwiches, but handmade coffee drinks are great. The terrace has the best seating. Beats any Starbucks!

I had the black bean burger sandwich, it was delicious! They have indoor seating but it was such a nice day we sat out on their patio and enjoyed the day. Staff were very polite and kind.

Such a great little place! Coffee is good, food is amazing, and sitting on the patio with live music is the most amazing experience. It's also right off the Mon Trail. We walked down with our AMAZING key lime pie and enjoyed it to the sounds of the river. Highly recommend.

I ordered the special which was Thai ginger chicken swiss chard wraps. It was fantastic. So flavorful. Took home the roasted vegetable salad. The salad was excellent. Everything was fresh and delicious. I will be back.

A fantastic place, a large selection of baked goods and yummy beer. The bakery can do a large array for catering with both gluten-free and vegan options. The lunch menu is full of tasty options, especially the roast beef.

When I come home to WV I’m always looking for a healthy option for dinner that isn’t one of the million chain restaurants in the area. Stumbled upon this hidden gem while running the rail trail. Odered the turkey sandwich and honey apple pulled pork. Highly recommend both! They also make a delicious Cortado & staff is super friendly/helpful. The baked goods section is out of this world (I was too full to order dessert) & they have numerous local products available for purchase. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town. Above and beyond!!!

We were passing through on a Sunday afternoon, and stopped for takeout sandwiches. Turns out, they only serve brunch on Sun. BUT the chef kindly made us the roast beef and Thai chicken, which were both delicious. They also provided a double-portion of their signature hummus for dip for the veggies we brought in the car. All were wonderful!!!

Please note: the sandwiches are not really designed for eating while driving I-79. But the hummus is! It's nice and thick!
