Candlewood Suites Morgantown-Univ West Virginia, an IHG Hotel

At the top of a hill with a lovely view. All the staff were so lovely. Mary-anne was such a kind help with our late-night check in. The sheets felt super luxurious and I'm not a sheet person.

I've had 2 great stays within the last 6 months. Pet friendly. Great housekeeping.

Parking can be a slight nuisance but not abnormal for a busy hotel.

All in all, a pleasant stay the 1st time, so I returned.

This is geared towards extended stays. Each room has a kitchenette with full refrigerator and freezer, plates, cups, etc. Room was spacious and clean. Easy parking, quiet room. No breakfast option but not an issue with the kitchenette.

Very clean hotel, coffee in room, bathroom super nice, bed was super comfortable, AC works very well.

The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. Just what we needed after a long day of work and then time on the road. It was nice having the fridge and other amenities, so that we could bring in what we wanted and not worry about it going bad. A great experience for a reasonable price.

My room was clean and cute efficiency apartment. I really love the shower gel, shampoo, conditioner soap and lotion. The staff is friendly. There is a really good restaurant across the parking lot and other fast food and stores like target and dollar tree less than a mile away.

We came to concert at triple s we loved the rooms and the staff. Very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend and will be staying again.

We stayed a week here while going for cancer treatments at WVU. What a pleasant environment to retreat to after a rough day of treatments. Housekeeping keeps this place spotless! Staff has been more than helpful to make our stay the best. We recommend staying here!!!

Great hotel. We had a 1 bedroom suite for the weekend getaway with our dog. Perfectly located, the front desk was very kind, I love the price and having our dog with us for a small fee per night was great. We will definitely be back.

Staff is amazing. The front desk all the way to housekeeping. The rooms are very comfortable and are very clean upon arrival. Mallory has really been superb! She showed us the room before checking in and made sure we was happy.

Great location, reserved the room with the kitchenette... absolutely loved it. Was in town visiting my daughter (WVU).Room was clean and modern. No complaints at all, cooked our sides on the stove, kitchenette equipped with everything. Grilled our chicken,hot dogs, and burgers out back. They even had board games, and appliances (blender) to borrow! Can't wait to stay at another one again!!

I’ve NEVER stayed more than one night at a hotel until Candlewood. Great customer service, quiet hotel, and everything was very clean and well kept. There’s so many great things about this hotel! The laundry and gym area are well maintained and clean and the borrowed items inclusive of puzzles/board games was a great perk to our stay as well!

Got a one bedroom 1st floor with our dog. Wonderful clean rooms and even the hallways smelled clean as a whistle. Will always search first for Sandalwood .

I've stayed in hundreds of hotels/motels in my lifetime, and I have to say this was the best room for the money I have ever stayed in. This room has a full kitchen with dishwasher and fridge... Etc. It has a super comfortable queen bed (love these pillows), not to mention all the usual amenities. Super clean rooms and a really nice and helpful staff as well. I highly recommend this place.

Very impressed by the rooms and the staff. Shout out to Aaron, David and the young guy that runs night shift (sorry bro forgot to ask your name) for great customer service! Their in-house “Market” had the essentials we forgot to bring like Tums and Advil. Plus it’s a few minutes walk across The Greene Turtle Grill & Pub and Triple S Harley-Davidson. Literally across the parking lot. You’ll never regret your stay here!

Very clean and spacious rooms. Not busy at all around Christmas. The price for the room with two queen beds was amazing for this type of hotel. It was atop a hill so the view was great.

The cons included a bed that was not level, but not too troubling because the other one was great. And there was no free breakfast.

Otherwise, I would highly reommend this hotel if you need to stay near the highway at Morgantown.
