Scholar Morgantown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Morgantown and is close to everything. The beds are comfortable and large. The bathroom was large! We had a room with a large tub and shower, which was very nice. The people working here were also incredibly friendly. Really enjoyed our time here

Clean spacious room with a huge shower and not one but two large mirrors in the bathroom. No microwave in the room but i believe they have one in the lobby. Staff was all very friendly and communicated well. Love the 12pm checkout! Would stay again perfect and affordable for a night out in morgantown

By far the best hotel staff in the country. So friendly and so accommodating. I always look forward to staying here. Not to mention, the have really nice rooms with new beds

The room was very nice and clean. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful when checking in. Only issue I had was making the reservation... I called the local number expecting to talk to someone there but it was in fact a call center who spelled my name so bad that they couldn't find my reservation. I ended up getting double charged(at least they got my card number correct) but the manager Shana was able to fix the issue and gave me a few tips for next time I call to reserve a room(press the number for existing reservation).

This was a great hotel located in the center of town. I had to make a last minute booking because the hotel I was originally planning to stay at (Hotel M Morgantown) was horrid. The hostess gave us the suite. She was very nice and gave us a lot of recommendations of things to do within the area. They also provided ear plugs when I asked. One drawback was that the lights in the bathroom kept flickering. I was surprised that the hotel cleaning staff did not address this when they were cleaning the room during my stay. I did not have the time to notify the staff of this issue during my stay, but I am sure they would have fixed it if I had.

Since it's located in the downtown area, it was loud at night. The hotel cannot do very much about this besides giving earplugs, but it might be good to know for families.

I also felt like the hotel was a bit expensive, and the price should include at least a light continental breakfast.

This was an unplanned trip for same day arrival. Shanna was able to accommodate me last minute even with full reservations. I arrived after midnight and was greeted at the front door by a young gentleman with a smile. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I love the private parking garage attached also. Always a great experience.

The team at Scholar made our stay in Morgantown so special! Shanna went above and beyond to make everything perfect for our weekend visit. The staff here makes this property one of the best choices in town. The location is fantastic with so many choices in just a few steps.

Beautiful hotel conveniently located in downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful. They have their own parking deck. Easy walking distance to all the things. Nice rooms. Comfortable beds.

This is probably the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever seen. Even the caulk and the trim around the walls were spotless! The beds are comfortable. The bathroom as roomy- nice sized shower with pumps attached to the wall containing shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The staff are family who are super friendly. The same person who checked us in earlier in the day was bartending that evening. He gave us some history on the town, recommended some great places to eat and was a joy to talk to. The bar was nice and lobby was inviting. We will definitely plan to stay here again and again when visiting our daughter on campus. It was very convenient to the dorms downtown and the mountainlair. Also it was a block off high street where all the action is. We really enjoyed our stay!

Just stayed 1 night, so not much info on the area though this place is great. Rooms are pretty large and definitely have a classy college feel. Hotel has a bar and food menu in the lobby. Chris handled check-in for us, and was super helpful. If I'm ever wandering through Morgantown again, will definitely stay here.

Combines nice suite-style rooms with a convenient location. The exercise room is also excellent, with hands weights, ellipticals, treadmills, and a peloton. My only minor critiques are that the parking garage is very tight and the pillows on the bed were too thick for comfortable side sleeping (but I was able to use a throw from the couch).

This is the BEST hotel in Morgantown. Clean, friendly, safe, comfortable, quiet, convenient-- everything you could possibly want! The staff are especially attentive and kind. The place has a real family feel, and we love the chance to bring our dog -- who everyone has remembered! BONUS: for being a dog-friendly hotel, the Scholar Morgantown is INCREDIBLY AND IMPECCABLY CLEAN!! 😊🙏 I've had multiple stays here and look forward to the next one. MY HOME AWAY FROM HOME! My Husband and I stayed at the Scholar for the second time this weekend for our anniversary. It is now our go to place every year.
We are always welcomed by the most courteous, friendly and helpful staff. We feel like family when we stay there.
The rooms are very clean with comfortable bed and sofas. Our bath towels were so soft and fluffy. The window had shaded and black out blinds. Perfect for day or night. We could've slept all day.
After our day out on the town we were greeted again with the friendly staff and enjoyed ICE COLD beer at the fully stocked bar.
Parking was convent with an attached parking garage. (FREE)

Our experience here was great. The level of service is what will make this stay memorable. Shanna went above and beyond to make our stay awesome. Will definitely go back when in the area.

Great, friendly staff. Darius was wonderful. The parking garage is very tight and a bit daunting to drive-in. If you got a big truck you won't fit. We were pushing the envelope in a hummer H2. We had A-blast playing the giant wall mounted scrabble in the lobby.

My stay here was absolutely incredible. The staff was insanely accommodating. I can’t thank you Mandy, BJ, and Tyler enough. I haul all over the country and stay in a lot of hotels and they made it feel like home. The hotel is Very clean, and tons of bars and restaurants in walking distance. 10000% recommend and will be staying again!

Very nice place. The room and the bathroom were spacious. Everything was super clean. The bed was comfy to sleep on. The hotel is within walking distance to a few clubs and places to eat. The staff at the hotel were friendly and they suggested to us a couple places to go. It was a very pleasant stay!

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Rooms appear to have been recently renovated. Parking garage is nice to have, although it is an extra cost not included with the hotel pricing (which is fine because most cities have this). Front desk personnel are super nice and gave some great suggestions for food. Enjoyed our stay.

Heard great things about this place and finally had the opportunity to stay here not once but 2 weeks in a row. So convenient to everything downtown but you dont have the constant noise you might expect from a downtown location.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very up to date. I can not say enough wonderful things about the comfort of the beds. Did I mention that the noon check out time is perfect after a late night out at the local restaurants and bars?
To us the only negative would be that our truck does not fit in their parking garage but for a similar price the city garage is less than a block away.

Was a little leary to stay here...they compared it to staying in a dorm...WELL. it was incredibly nice. The staff and their girls were SO welcoming. And they have Jacuzzi tubs which my young children were over the moon for! So clean, safe and super comfy beds...Also, within walking distance of everything, park in their garage and get out there!...would definitely stay here again!
