Courtyard by Marriott Morgantown

Our car broke down on our way home to Canada and we had the pleasure of staying at the Marriott. Jennifer and the entire staff were very accommodating and helpful under these extreme circumstances. The room was spacious and clean and staff was very welcoming and ensured we were taken care of. Jennifer pointed us to a great mechanic and we made it home. Thanks to everyone at the Marriott.

If I could give 10 stars to this sweet hotel, I would. Everybody from Gavin who checked us in at the start of our stay to Jennifer, who so graciously assisted me in finding a valuable object I left behind. Thanks again, Jennifer!
The room was clean.
The sheets had that freshly laundered smell, and the customer service was unbeatable.
If you travel to Morgantown, this gem is well worth considering.
Even if you are going for surgery at Ruby, they will make your journey a pleasant one!

First impression when I walked in the door was it was a nice hotel. The staff was wonderful especially the evening/night shift desk clerk and the woman cook in the kitchen! It was clean and our room had a great view!

The staff is some of the nicest, friendliest and most accommodating people around!
I stay there a lot for business & the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfy & it’s so close to many stores & restaurants. There’s a great outdoor seating area & fire pit which is really nice. Gym could use some work but it gets the job done.
I highly recommend this place- they treat you like a king!

This is a great hotel. Very clean and the pool is nice. A tad small but again clean and it has a fire pit outside! Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely recommend if your staying near wvu

Surprisingly great hotel. Convenient location if you are visiting our passing through. Right off the freeway, but has a great view over the river. The staff is amazing and the food is very good. The rooms are decent, showers are a little odd due to not having a door, but not a big deal. The gym is just ok, you can get a workout in, but it is nothing special. Overall, great choice for Morgantown. Highly recommend.

We had a tough time finding a room in town. The rooms are very spacious. It has a feel of a new hotel. Bathrooms are very big. The people at the front desk were very helpful. The only complaint is the pool which the kids really wanted to do was on the small side. A baseball team was staying here and because of the size forced us out because parents were not controlling them. It was a very nice place to stay with lots of restaurants near by.

Staff is very friendly. The place is always clean and well kept. Good location.

Clean as a whistle, super quiet, great location, super friendly staff, and very comfortable and spacious rooms. Overall, 10/10, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My only gripe was that the showers are a bit weird (the half-glass panel for the shower does not prevent water from getting everywhere), but it's a minor one. (Also, I wish it had free breakfast haha)

Very convenient location from the highway. The lobby was clean and in good shape. There’s a small snack/ essentials store. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our room had a view of the University baseball field. Out the back doors of the lobby area is seating with a really nice view.

The front desk staff - specifically James and Cam - were excellent. They were friendly and helpful during our entire stay! The view from our room and the fire pit patio were great! Highly recommend this hotel!

So. What a day this turned out to be. On the way home from Ohio, we hit a pothole on the lovely highways of West Virginia. Get pulled over into a Burger King parking lot. I call my insurance roadside assistance who in turn calls for towing. After 2 hours they're a no call, no show and didn't answer mine or the insurance company's calls. So my insurance company got another tow service. My wife called for a room at The Courtyard Marriott down the road from Sam's club where we needed to be towed to have my car tires fixed. After my lovely wife called, booked us a room and explained our situation, they hooked us up with a discounted rate, gave us an awesome room with an amazing view AND gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. Talk about a curse becoming a blessing. The staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond. If I'm EVER in the area again, I will ALWAYS stay here because of the impeccable service we received.

Let’s face it…the Courtyard Marriott is always up to par everywhere you go. But, what I didn’t expect was the great experience I had at the front desk. You almost know what to expect when checking into your hotel. Name, ID, Credit card, blah, blah, blah. All I can tell you is that I’ll never forget the three amazing representatives, Michelle, Gavin and Skye waiting there to greet you as you walk in. Check it out for yourself. Amazing staff! Thanks a million you guys..

Staff was knowledgeable and very calm, they knew what they were doing and were good at it, with ease.
The room was amazing, walk in shower, very comfortable mattresses, well light (if it needed to be). Nice big flat svreen on the wall. The pool water was heated. Decent gym right beside the pool. Outside the gym/pool is a very nice fire pit set up to propane, and big comfy couches surrounding it. The breakfast was very up to par. No pancake/waffle maker, but everything else was there. Including the Chobani cups, that was a nice touch, to me. There was a nice snack/drink stand beside the check in/out. All the rooms for ice looked more like a break worm in an office, I say that in a good way. They all had microwaves and plastic eating utensils. I would suggest it to anyone.

Stayed at this hotel on my way back to Maryland. Smooth check in process. Front desk people were nice.
Plenty of restaurents around.
There is a walmart and Sams Club next door which is always convenient. The views from the hotel are really captivating as this sits on the top of a hill.

We appreciate this hotel for so many reasons. I am a frequent patient at WVU hospital. It is too much after a visit at the hospital to the long distance home and need a place to stay. This hotel provides us a home away from home. It is clean and quiet which is just what I need after dealing with medical issues.

The staff is top notch. They are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to accommodate us in any way they can.

We have not used any of the facilities, but the outdoor area looks very nice. We grab items off of the grab and go breakfast bar which is clean and with everything individually wrapped provides another layer of safety.

Thank you for making difficult times better. We appreciate the effort.

Everyone is so nice. It's located at the UTC in morgantown I always stay when the weather is going to terrible

Nice rooms, facility, location and amenities. Enjoyed my breakfast too
