My favorite hotel in Morgantown!
The staff is so friendly, breakfast is amazing with a wide variety of healthy choices.
The rooms are luxurious, spacious, well lit, and have fully equipped kitchens complete with a full size fridge, stove, dishwasher & fully stocked cupboards.

It also has a separate bedroom, lots of closet space, a fireplace, desk, small kitchen table, huge flat screen tv & a pull out bed in the sofa- it’s like a tiny apartment…I just loved it and can’t wait to come back!

This is a great place the room is great the service is great the location is great I don't have much more to say besides I recommend this place.

I recently had the privilege of staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott Morgantown, and I can't thank the staff enough for their exceptional service during a challenging time in our lives. My fiancée's mother had suffered a stroke and was being treated at Ruby Memorial Hospital, and the compassionate, helpful, and kind staff at this hotel truly made a difference. What's more, our two dogs, Remi and Gus, were welcomed with open arms. The staff's kindness extended to our furry family members, making our stay even more enjoyable. I can't thank the staff enough for their hospitality and kindness during our stay. We will always remember the exceptional service we received at this hotel. If you're looking for a place that truly cares about its guests, I highly recommend the Residence Inn Morgantown.

We stayed here for 2 nights.

Upon arrival we were informed the room we booked wasn't available due to damage by the previous guest. But they were willing to put us in two rooms adjacent to each other. We obliged and took up residence. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. Our second room did have a drainage issue in the tub which the front desk said they have intermittent issues with.

The hotel is rather quiet and the breakfast was ample.

These folks were the nicest, sweetest, most caring crew I've EVER had the pleasure to stay alongside! Gluten issues? NO PROBLEM! Dairy free? NO PROBLEM! Clean rooms, comfy beds, good cable, full kitchen, nice courtyard with grills to cook on, and even had a traffic light to go right to the hospital across the street. WILL BE BACK!

LTE. Was upgraded to a two bedroom suite. Staff was professional and quick at check in. Breakfast buffet was better than the average Residence Inn. Lots of crispy bacon. Staff at breakfast was excellent. Pool was closed. The fire pit and BBQs are perfect for cool evenings. Location is close to the highway. I would stay here again if I am passing through.

1 night stop with my family of 4 and I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. Super friendly staff, clean room, comfy beds. I did not partake in the breakfast. Pleasantly surprised with the stay.

this is one Marriott property where the quality of stay has not fallen drastically as many of their other properties have. thank you for an enjoyable stay, a rare occurrence on Marriott properties nowadays

much nicer rooms than most of the budget places around here. Jenny, Haley and Sienna are an OUTSTANDING crew. I'm platinum here and these people are the absolute best!

Very nice hotel. Supremely friendly staff. Couldn't ask for a nicer check in after working all day and then driving 2 hours with a 2 year old. The room was huge and I wasn't expecting that. Super comfy beds and very clean.

Amazing staff. Very clean. Jenny is a shining star! She goes out of her way to assist guests and their needs. Truly was accommodating and encouraging to witness such a young person that possesses such an “old soul” maturity. Very refreshing to be sure. It was a great experience.

Scott at the front desk blew me out of the water! I had a 7 1/2 hour travel trip for work - I forgot some papers from home and he went above and beyond to help me get them printed.

Aside from just my experience - I was working in the lobby and overheard his positivity and patience with all of the guests. Many guests were… a lot… and I commend him for his service because it takes a talented individual to display professionalism among chaos.

Great employee - I will come back from the customer service ALONE.

The rooms are neat, clean and spacious in the suites. It comes with a two to three burner electric stove top, microwave, full size refrigerator, coffee pot and dishwasher. There is a large closet with ironing board and shower/toilet separate from the sink and mirror. The couch folds out into a bed, and was comfortable enough for a few nights. The only thing I would add would be more blankets in the room for the pull out sofa bed, but that is just a personal preference not a complaint. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Warm indoor pool and the room for the pool area was nice and warm as well. Easy access to the hospitals and college campus.

Perfect location to the hospital - walking distance! Also, great location for plenty of places to grab a bite!

Scott, the front attendant delivered the most accommodating customer service. He met us with a friendly demeanor and went above and beyond to make my whole family feel cared for. My dad was going into surgery the following day and he was empathetic and gave us the top floor so it would be quite for him to sleep. We felt very at home and the room was incredibly clean.

Stayed her end of May through middle of June while a family member was in the hospital. These hardworking folks took great care of us from getting our rooms booked, stays extended, house keeping scheduled and so much more. Even with the small irritating questions they handled well with a smile and made my days so much better.

The facilities themselves are pretty good. Not amazing but pretty good. Only real issues I had were 1) the dishwasher would fill with water when running the garbage disposal in the sink (smelled horrible at times) and 2) we were situated right above their outdoor sitting area and one of the AC units were loud.

Tips for those that stay: walls are thick, didn’t hear anything from adjacent rooms, but door is thin. Can hear a lot if you stand at the door. Grills are there for people to use, do it. Makes it feel a bit more like at home if you are in the need for it. The breakfast is never fantastic, but they do do resort guest get togethers for dinners 3 days a week. Its fun and free food if you are staying for a while.

Overall, this place is great. Its not a 5 star resort by any stretch of the means but it will give you what you need to make it through your stay if you need to be there because of the hospital.

The entrance in the foyer is beautiful beautiful dining room The lady at the front desk when I checked in last night was simply awesome nice explanatory great directions explain things and did it all the smile on her face she was actually tied up when I first came in and she actually acknowledged me and smiled just awesome the rooms were beautiful and it is a great location beside Ruby hospital and WVU campus I will definitely stay here again when I have to come up for appointments and I would recommend it for anything The rooms had kitchens in it bathrooms microwave had plates stuff to wash the dishes at dishwasher nice TV bad all of the shower was awesome this is definitely a must-go if you're in town or I must stay!

The front desk was very helpful. Husband needed to buy meds and they even tried a coupon that one of them had. Gave good advice on keeping our dog overnight at residence inn.
