Charleston Carnegie Public Library

I want to thank ours, and other public libraries for providing sunglasses to watch the eclipse this week. Thank you so much. I sent seven people, around the country, to their local libraries because of this insightful act. Go public libraries for continuing to educate us and providing opportunities for all.❤🥰❤🥰

Met several great people who work here on my visit today. Katie was the most informative she guided me through the library history, all the different rooms, and gave me great insight on local authors. Thank you for the direction and priceless information.. very grateful..

I have been going to our library, regularly since I was 7 years old! My now adult children started going even younger! The Best librarian in the world, Ruth, quite literally watched 2 generations of patrons grow up, and helped them find their love for books! All of the staff are phenomenal. They work hard to provide an array of wonderful activities and resources for all ages. Always friendly, always helpful, always clean, and always magical!

Helpful staff, good selection, and now with a great app. Because of the library network, if you can't find the book here they can get it for you. Staff is always friendly and the programs they have for every age are great. The kids are always eager to go to this library. Even have digital loans!

Absolutely love this place. The staff is helpful and friendly. One went out of their way to phone a friend when I asked about writing groups to find information on one. I like this place better than the college library.

This is a well maintained library and the staff are pleasant, friendly and helpful. They also keep a lot of events and activities going for kids and adults.

It is great. Very clean, quiet, and polite. The geneaology section is extremely well organized and user friendly.

Staff is very friendly and super helpful. They all are knowledgeable. The upstairs computer area is small. But overall nice small library.

This library is quite large but it still gives off that small town vibe. The staff are always so sweet and if they don't have a certain book, they will do whatever they can to make sure we are able to get it.
