Big Lots

I've loved Big Lots since I was a teenager. But when I first moved to Illinois there wasn't any around me until I few years later. I hope BL is around forever. Great prices and well stocked. Nice staff too.

I recently purchased a recliner. Lucas was amazing and very professional, he even helped me load it in my van. The whole staff is very friendly and is always willing to help. They kicked my weekend off in a positive direction. They have a customer for life!

P.S. this recliner is super comfortable

It's been years since I've set foot in a Big Lots store because the one by me closed ... it's still one place I can say, I have fun shopping because I find things that I've never really paid attention to before.... it was always a discount store and for some is not worth it (at least for those who are used to high-end price😉), but I actually enjoy shopping here... I'll keep stopping by when I get a chance, as I know it's close to work!

This store is very clean looking and we'll organized. The employees were very helpful and real. I believe the employee that helped me the most was Casey. He helped me find the products I was looking for. Good store to checkout! Great Deals!

Thanks Chritian Pope. Finding items was easy, someone is always available for personal assistance. They don't tell you, they take you where you can find it. Very competitive and better bang for your hard earn money.

Good stuff n good prices

The staff at this store are great. It is a Big Lots and you may have to check it out every few weeks to find the good stuff, but when you do, it is worth it.

I found some great deals today. Plus, if you have a rewards account you should have received a coupon for 20% off your entire purchase through email. This coupon is good through July 17, 2020. Happy Shopping!

I got a Bissell carpet cleaner for pets because I have two cats I got a 30% discount because I'm a veteran they honor it most stores won't they were very helpful the store was well stocked and clean.

I love this location. They are always nice and helpful.
My bank account doesn't like it though. LOL
During spring, they have the best windchimes at good prices, lots of cute gardne items. And if you are creating a fairy gardne like I have been, they have the cutest miniatures for it.
Highly recommend this spot.

I had the best experience here with an employee named Brianna. She is an expert at what she do. Her customer service was awesome and I will hire her ANYDAY! I'm a new teacher and I was on the hunt for a few of your items. After searching 7 Big Lots stores, I still couldn't find everything I needed. However, this amazing store helped me find what I needed. They truly went above and beyond. Their staff was all very helpful and so kind. Thank you for a great experience! I now have what I need for my classroom.

Just bought some furniture there. The gentleman noticed I was browsing and looking at furniture and gave me his name if I had any questions. The gentleman that help me answered all my questions. He took his time with me I did not feel rushed and was very pleasant. He seemed to really enjoy his job. Definitely one of the better places I have been when I was shopping for furniture. Will definitely be back to shop for more. All your employees are very kind and helpful. Keep up the great work!

Great store, we purchased furniture and the staff was helpful in the selection. We will continue shopping at this retail store. Staff is friendly and helpful. We had a positive experience with Johnathan and Hinsen helping out with our order and were very professional and courteous. I don't recall the store managers name but he also helped us and was very client orientated to his clients. I strongly recommend this store to everyone in Elgin.

I enjoy shopping at big lots because I am able to buy name brand items, at such cheap prices! The store is always clean and organized and very easy to find a specific item that you’re looking for.

The manager Vito, was so helpful, he went above and beyond, during one of my latest shopping trips there, he asked what I was looking for, then I asked him if they had the Bissell Carpet Shampooer in stock, he knew exactly what I was talking about, so he grabbed it off the shelf, brought it half way across the store to the isle I was at, then after answering specific questions I had about the carpet cleaner, I told him I take it and he carried it to the checkout area, so I could finish shopping, then loaded it into my trunk after I checked out, so I didn’t have to lug the large box to my car.

The staff here really listens to the customer. I had several questions about a few items. They were knowledgeable friendly and the store was stocked and clean. Bree and her manager was super helpful
