Elgin Public House

We had our daughter’s graduation party catered by the Elgin Pub House. The food was delivered the exact minute they promised. It was good, and they did not disappoint. We’ll remember this forever. Good job.

Great food! Such an extensive menu it was challenging to decide what to order. We were there on a Sunday evening and children eat free which is pretty great. We will definitely go back to try more of the special and unique dishes. I recommend the burger with duck bacon!

I had the pesto chicken sandwich. In my opinion, it needed more pesto. I really couldn't taste it and questioned if they had added it except that I could smell garlic. If there was pesto in the mayonnaise, as the description says, I think it needed more. Nevertheless, I am still giving 5 stars because the sandwich was really good and very flavorful. The chicken was cooked perfectly and topped with thick, high-quality bacon. The pretzel roll was soft and fresh but not doughy. I was also impressed by the sautéed fresh vegetables. They were cooked to a turn and seasoned just right. My husband had the Reuben and Cajun fries. He ate every last morsel. We will definitely be back for future dates.

Great pub food, whether dine-in or carry-out. My husband likes the veggie burger made as the Bleu Horse burger. I especially like the Hummus Duo (both hummus choices are yummy, but the black bean hummus is so good I usually have two servings of that!).

Waitstaff has always been friendly, helpful, and attentive for us, even when they're super busy.

Always a nice selection of craft beers on hand, as well as plenty of specials.

A fantastic place to grab a bite to eat. My friends and I loved every part of our meal. The service was fantastic and everything came out quick and at the right temperature. Our server did a wonderful job and she made wonderful suggestions when we were looking for advice. There is a free parking garage right across the street, so I had no problem getting a spot. I have zero complaints and am looking forward to coming back.

I love coming here! The bar/restaurant is clean, well kept and has a friendly atmosphere. The staff is always super friendly. The menu has mots of vegetarian options. A must stop when I'm in the area!

I've been a regular at EPH for several months now, and I have to say that it's quickly become one of my favorite spots in town. The food is always amazing, the service is top-notch, and the vibe is just right for a relaxing night out.

I have to give a special shoutout to the staff members who have made my visits so enjoyable. Keegan, Kanasa and Sarah are some of the most attentive and friendly servers/bartenders I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. They always make me feel welcome and go out of their way to ensure that I have a great experience.

Of course, the food is the real star here. Whether I'm in the mood for a juicy burger, a salad, or some perfectly crispy fries, I always know that it’s gonna be great. The kitchen staff clearly takes pride in their work, and it shows in every dish that comes out of the kitchen.

The vibe of the place is also just right. It's a great spot for a casual dinner with friends, a date night, or just a solo meal at the bar. The decor is cozy and inviting, and the music is always on point.

Overall, I would highly recommend EPH to anyone looking for a great meal and a fun night out. Thanks to Keegan, Kanasa, Ernesto, Jenifer, Riley, Isaac, BILLiam, Brie, Sarah, luke and the rest of the staff for making my visits so memorable!

First time at Elgin Public House but it won't be my last. Great pub and comfort food. We had cheese curds and the Mac Attack burger that had mac and cheese and pork belly on a burger! So good! We tried the caramel apple bread pudding in a skillet but wasn't a fan. Thankfully, the waiter noticed and took it off our bill. Also got to watch the playoffs on several televsions while we ate. Big thumbs up!

Have been here a lot! I’ve been on so many dates here I’ve lost count. Service is inconsistent. I’ve had good experiences and really bad experiences with service here. Food is always good though! We recently had a work party in their rentable upper room and that was fabulous. If you need to rent a room for a work party I can recommend it 💯! The food at the work event was fabulous. There is a separate bar to service the party and the ambiance in the room is fabulous.

Great food and a great atmosphere. I had the chicken with cajun seasoning and the portions were generous.

Delicious food. Pork belly was crispy and tender.
Appetizers hit the spot. Shrimp had great seasoning (cajun, cilantro,lime, and etc) Fried pickles had a crispy and savory batter crust with a yummy salty pickle.
Mac and cheese was a great side item. Fish was fried really good and the sauces made it taste amazing. Had a great time overall and gotta thank the waitress for friendly service.

We were in town for the night on business and wanted a place for some comfort food. We found it! The pastas we great! The chipotle and the Cajun were both delicious. And a great atmosphere with music from our time (‘80s & ‘90s). The shrimp appetizer was great too.

The service was great. It was the end of the night, but she just needed to slow down a little bit.
The sandwich/burgers were delicious, the sides were good. I was excited to try the Mac and cheese as the side because it was the special for the night, but glad I got the fiesta chicken sandwich!
Overall, it was a great stop!!

My fiance and I have visited a few times now, and we absolutely love their fried pickles. The best fried pickles we have had from any restaurant so far! Friendly staff as well.

We had an exceptional dining experience. All of the food (Potroast, Stuffed Porkchops, Jambalaya Pasta) was delicious. Our server Kristen accommodated us decently also.

Best black bean burger I’ve ever had !!!
Vegan and bun is coated with Spicy hummus( it’s a must). Loved the pub fries wish i ordered more:( The burger also came with tortilla chips that had alot of favor I thought that was unique. Highly recommend and i will be seeing yall again!

Not sure where the last review was coming from because I just had the same porkbelly nachos and they were ahhhmazing. Every meal, especially the Spinach salad with Ahi tuna, is 5☆! Also, if you haven't had a Keegantini, your missing out. The only "kid" i know that makes a proper ice float. Best bartender in the biz!

there isn't on thing I have found that I haven't liked. great menu, great specialty beer list, great mix drink list and friendly, knowledgeable employees. one stood out and went above and beyond to explain the difference beer's. he must be new haven't seen him before. But I hope they keep him, he's a great addition to a already great staff and owners. keep up the fantastic food, etc. I recommend this place to everyone. you won't let hungry or unsatisfied. 5 stars times 💯.........
