Elgin Post Office

I appreciate the friendly service given to each person served. You get the feeling that you're pretty special and I feel free to ask any questions. My point is, I don't feel rushed so that the person behind me can get served. The wait in line isn't long and sometimes if it is, it's worth the wait. You are treated with a smile and an solution for whatever is needed

This post office is a joke. I’ve been calling the main number now for over two hours, and nobody will answer. Mail is always delivered in the wrong boxes. Every single employee that they have that delivers mail always has some kind of an attitude. I wish there was an alternative but I guess we’re stuck with this place.

Middle aged Hispanic man gave me attitude because I made him do his job. He told me he should charge me money for putting 3 very thin pieces of tape on a package. If you don't like working, you can join the rest of the homeless encampment right across the street from your location.
