The food was great. Staff was friendly and love seeing places that keep up with updates, maintenance, and even some updated decor since we were last there.

Very clean location in a "strip" mall. The service and food was top notch. The lunch steak and chicken fajitas were delivered HOT and plentiful. Lots of meat and fresh veggies. The salsa and guacamole was delicious.

This is my go-to for Mexican food. I always get the mini chimichanga & I’ve tried it at loco, el Toro & everywhere else but no one does it better than El Mason!! It’s cheap too, me & my roommate eat here for $30 including a 20% tip.

Our new go to for Mexican food! Hubs and I enjoyed a good meal today. The veggie chimi was wonderful! Hubs had the grilled chicken chimi. We both loved the rice and beans! Try it and you will go back for more. See you there!

Food and customer service is amazing and consistent! Nachos Grande Jalisco is a family favorite! Great place to get authentic reasonably priced food!

I called El Mason for a to go order I didn’t see in the menu. She said yes we have tortilla soup. My order was ready within 10 minutes to pickup! I got salsa and chips with my soup and the best chips for the tortilla soup I’ve ever had or seen with this. Awesome soup chef !! and lady at the counter! Great service, great prices, awesome food!!

I didn't have to wait long to get my food. It was nice and hot and it was very very good

Never had a bad experience at El Meson. Their chips and salsa are good, but their queso is excellent so I always get it also. They have plenty of vegetarian options, and their veggies fajitas are phenomenal. Service is great, the place is clean and well-decorated, and their porch is a favorite in warm weather. I'll continue to patronize this place.

The salsa the last few times I've gone has been extra special tasty and good! I don't know if they change the recipe, or maybe I'm coming at a more convenient time and it's made fresh? So good!
I also got the Pollo loco real and it tasted extra good too. The chicken was so good!
Edit, still a spicy complaint. Today I got spicy chicken enchiladas and there's no spicy. 🔥🥵 Lacking. If it says spicy chicken, I want to feel it. Maybe sweat, make my nose run, something. Again everything taste great, but I want spicy please and thank you. ❤🧡💛💙

I am from the Chicagoland area and I absolutely love Hispanic food. My husband and I visit El Meson while on the road and to say that I was impressed is an understatement. For starters I expressed how the ambience gave you the fell as tho you’re in Mexico, and the cleanliness was a plus. When served the chip and salsa I knew my food would be of my liking, however, I was not ready for it to be that immaculate. I ordered the QuesaBarriera and my husband ordered the chicken fajitas. Both were served with a great portion of meat, flavorful and overall delicious. I had to inquire on other locations. Unfortunately none on the Chicagoland area. If they were to ever migrate and create a chain they would satisfy lots of people who love Mexican food as I do. To top it off the service top notch.
