Went to see the Christmas lights. Absolutely beautiful! The old mansion on the property was amazing, and it was so nice getting a chance to go through it and read the history of the property.

The lights and decor throughout the property were so well done. I had to stop time and time again, just to take it all in. There were a couple places where they had logs burning so you could stop and warm up. I'm not sure what kind of wood they were burning, but the smell was amazing. It just added to the overall experience.

It's a great place to spend time with my kids and grandkids. The staff is always wonderful! There is something for everyone, whether it's enjoying art, walking the grounds, participating in a workshop or artistic activity it's always enjoyable. I definitely recommend a family membership 😉

This is a wonderful museum with gorgeous grounds, the Lilly mansion is a must visit if open, when we went it was decked out for spooky season. The walk was beautiful and the grounds well kept. Staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. Highly recommend visiting in multiple seasons.

I visited in December around 7:30p. Parking was limited but organized. The walking path was wide enough to handle the amount of people there. The lights were beautiful and there were so many of them. Always neat to go through the mansion to be reminded of the history of Newfields. I did not experience the food and drink but nice that it is offered. Looking forward to returning.

This museum was excellent. I've been a member at Crystal Bridges, the Art Institute Chicago, and the Philadelphia Art Museum...and I think I enjoyed this experience as much as any. The Van Gogh underside was incredible, but there were so many extras (staff and elementary student art exhibits, a design lab, interactive displays with visual media, drawing stations for kids and adults, a piano for guests to play, and more). Then, the trails around the garden add an additional element. I can't wait to return.

I had an enjoyable afternoon at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. There is a good variety of exhibits and periods and styles covered. The design exhibit is very interesting. I loved the Robert Indiana sculpture that gets you outside and when you enter. Recommended!

Indy never disappoints when visiting. The Van Gogh exhibit was beautiful to see, even though it is my second time seeing it ... A place to relax with friends from out of state for the holidays. Thank you, Newsfields!

I can not express how much I loved this place. We went to the Harvest nights with the pumpkins and the lights. So good. Everyone was fantastic. So beautiful and cool. I can't wait to visit this place again.

We had a blast with all 4 kiddos (age 10 to 4 years old) at the Lume. They enjoyed the hour long show watching Van Gogh come to life. Learning and seeing an actual Van Gogh price in person was well worth the price. There's a fun area that turns you into Van Gogh piece as well as be in a Van Gogh painting. I can't wait to see what other artist they display in the Lume!

Fabulous event. Thank you to our dear friend #DrKimberlyDarlingForniss for allowing us to be a guest in her annual family visit. The entire display was spectacular. The use of the Three D Glasses, carmel popcorn and Christmas lights on a miniature scale for each guest was fabulous. The hot chocolate 🍫 was very well made and came in at a perfect time. The Lilly Mansions are breathtaking and very well preserved and maintained. Photos do not do the show justice.

We did the Harvest Nights tour. Great for little ones. No strollers in the Lilly Mansion. Strollers park outside of the rear entry door.

I visited Newfields with a friend to finally experience Winterlights. After seven years of looking for a time when my schedule matched up with ticket availability, I finally made it! Winterlights is a huge winter wonderland that delights the senses in a multitude of ways, including holiday music, some of the best hot chocolate, a smores station, and, of course, the lights. It was the perfect way to wrap up the Christmas season. It is completely worth the wait and the money spent. Do not miss this opportunity to see the gardens of Newfields on display!

Newfields is awesome. We've gone primarily to see their Winterlights attraction, which is stunning. The Lilly house is great to see, as are all the lights around the property. For us, going to Winterlights is becoming a winter tradition.

Wonderful experience. Similarly priced to the children's museum, with an option for an annual membership, which we purchased. They always manage to have original works that I would expect to see in the MoMA or Art Institute of Chicago (quite a bit more expensive to visit), or various other NYC, DC, et cetera big name art museums. It's pleasant to walk through, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and you really can't see it all in a day, especially with the outdoor portion (100 acres - Lily Gardens, Lily House, and so on), and the Lume on the top floor.

We went on a Free First Thursday and enjoyed wandering in the gardens and around the Lilly House! Tickets are expensive for us normally, but we love visiting this museum.

We visited THE LUME Indianapolis featuring Van Gogh immersive exhibit. It was very well done and gives you a chance to learn about all of the Impressionist artist, the style, viewing original artwork as well as walk, stand, or sit in a 360 experience of wall to wall and sometime floor and ceiling presentation of the art with movement and music. Very well done and worth the visit.

We truly enjoyed the art exhibit. We were visiting from out of town. It was a great choice for spending time with our 19-year-old niece and her friend, her Dad (50), my husband and I (60s). We also enjoyed the garden and refreshments available. It was a great option for us because we were able to discuss the art, we love world history and we enjoy plants, too. This was relaxing but not boring. We will return.
