An awesome experience here. First with my kids, and now with my grandkids. Over time I have seen the admission price increase, but try to imagine the upkeep of all the displays, and it becomes understandable. There are way too many exhibits here to describe. Plan on spending hours here and having a great time. If you wish to save some money, eat at home and come here with a full belly.

We've been here several times and it gets better every time! Between my and my bro in law's family there are four kids between 3 and 6 and they absolutely love it! I often think I want to visit here without them!

The interactive dino coloring mural wall is always must see! And you can't ignore the giant dinosaurs you see busting through the walls on the drive up. The exhibits are engaging for all ages and if you go on the right day, it won't be too busy and you can jam around as you please!

Don't forget the sports area off the main area and play with all the interactive games! Coach David was awesome!

The largest children’s museum in the world. Lots of fun, educational and interactive activities. Carousel on the 4th floor. Free for members, $2 for everyone else. The outdoor sports activities look great. It start in March and go through the summer.

Went there on president day. The place was packed. All the children were enjoying themselves and actively participated in various activities. This is a well organized and beautiful place. All the parents should take their children there for a pleasant outing.

I’m going to give this place 5 stars. For one, nostalgia, I used to love going there as a child. I was able to bring my son back here about 30 years later and the updates, along with some of the nostalgia, didn’t disappoint. I will say that after about 11-12 years old, it only becomes worth it to see the new exhibits that come out a few times a year. We went to it recently and had a great time, but the NASA/Space area is the only standard thing my son was really interested in. Unfortunately, a couple of the activities were broken, which I’ve noticed in past visits also. I believe they are funded by donations and memberships and not sure if they receive subsidies, but overall they do a great job. The dinosaur exhibit is a must see for anyone and the sport area is a great new addition that wasn’t there when I was young, but that’s only open in the warmer weather.

Add on: The winter fest snowball fight is a good concept, but they need to have different times for different age groups and they need to expand the play area. As you can see, it’s a giant cluster. Still fun, although more focused on 8 and under.

Better and bigger than I remember from my childhood. They have done a lot with new displays. The dinosaurs are impressive. There are also several other new in revamped displays throughout the museum. The kids are enjoy it. You could easily spend more than a day here.

The best children's museum! The area around the museum is not the best. But the museum itself is absolutely amazing! My favorite thing is they are constantly changing exhibits, so if you go once a year will be something new for your kids to see/do. The exhibits that stay constant are fun to revisit multiple times! The best deal is to become a member. The membership pays for itself within a few visits. They have a few days a month when it's really cheap to get in, but those days are ridiculously crazy. Always go in the morning, it's the least busy then, especially during the week. Food is pretty expensive, so I always pack our lunch and bring snacks and water bottles.

Amazing place! Something for everyone, from dinosaurs to Chihuly glass and outdoor sports, to rock climbing walls. Children's meals are generous and priced under $8. Guests may bring their own food and store it in a locker. There is plenty of Stroller Parking. The staff are knowledgeable and easy to interact with. Oh! And the parking is free! Come early, and stay till close, and you might see most of it!

I take my son here often. The museum is very fun and interactive with so many different exhibits, there's no way you can go there and not find something interesting. One thing I have noticed is how exceptionally clean it is. Thousands of children go through the place and out of all the times I've been, I have never seen a piece of trash on the ground, not even a wrapper. It has plenty of open spaces that are easy to navigate, but there are a few spots that can be a little cramped such as the mirror maze and Egypt exhibit. The dinosphere is one of the best dinosaur exhibits I have seen and though it's small compared to some, they have many specimens and utilize the space very well. They even have a lab that you can look into and see paleontologists at work. The staff are always friendly and they change exhibits regularly so there is always something new to see. I highly recommend it and know that anyone who visits will not be disappointed.

This is a great museum. There are a lot of different areas with interactive spots for kids to play with. We went on a weekend, and it was busy, but there were still a lot of things to do and share. The food is a bit pricey though.

What an INCREDIBLE museum! The price tag, not knowing, really is a gut punch, but it is well worth it! Bring a sack lunch if you can- eating in their food court is SO expensive for so little!
The museum itself is GIGANTIC and completely full of interactive activities in a huge variety! There is something for everyone. I took my 3, 6 and 8 year olds and they all found something fun to do in every area we went to. We were there for four hours and didn't even see everything in the main building. We got through 2.5 floors and wished we could have stayed longer!
Overall, if we are ever back in Indy we will come back!

LOVED THIS MUSEUM
It is the best children museum I have ever been to.

The outdoor area with all the sports experience was out of the world. We enjoyed golf, basketball, baseball, tennis, soccer, football, racing... it was amazing.

The indoor area had so many interesting exhibits, including minecraft and pop art.

We went when the museum opened. We left when the museum closed.

I've always loved coming here from first coming in grade school years ago to know at age 51. I've brought nephews and now my great-nephew to share in the experience. It was amazing as always. My little great-nephew, who is 11, loved the dinosaur exhibits, talking with a working paleontologist, and being able to touch actual dinosaur bones. My favorite was the glasswork by Chihuly! I love his work. He also learned some important lessons about Anne Frank and Ryan White. That area on the differences kids can make is encouraging to young people.

What a great place! There’s an outdoor sports area kids would love plus all the 🦖 🦕 ❤! This place requires a minimum 3 hours to tour and if you include the outdoors make that 5. Nice place for children! We went on the first Thursday of the month which is $6 as of 11-2023.

Always a great time at the Children's Museum! I love that it is clean, friendly, interactive, and educational! There is something for ALL AGES!! We had a great time on the Winter Slide this visit. I highly recommend that you take the opportunity to visit this fantastic museum! Some weekdays are busy with school field trips, but if you can stay until after 3 pm, the crowd thins out drastically! Go have some fun... And maybe just learn a thing or two... 😉

My kids had a fantastic experience here. We went during Chrismas break so we were not able to do any of the outdoor entertainment but that looked really cool as well.

I would definitely recommend. We went during a discounted time slot and would recommend that route if you want to do thus as well. $30 + a person is kinda steep. 2.5 -3 hours is plenty of time to walk through everything inside. I was impressed by the hands on activities that are available for kids in many rooms!

If you haven't been here get here! Even if you're an adult you will have so much fun just reminiscing about when you were young. A total blast for hours and hours!!!

Excellent place to spend time with kids all ages and with good information. The sports area is super great as well. Yes agree with everyone you have to walk as theres a lot to cover so wear good shoes. We will definitely revisit for more.

Excellent museum. We were only able to stay for a few hours on our way to another destination, but it was absolutely worth the stop. We especially enjoyed the outdoor sports area. It is a shame they are not on the museum reciprocity list though. Seems a little greedy.
