We had the cod and German potato salad, and the bobs big boy cheeseburger, both were absolutely fantastic! Live outdoor music, friendly service, and an outstanding atmosphere, and make this a place that you're definitely must visit!

A truly great place with a wonderful staff. The ladies look beautiful in their German dirndls and are so friendly. It’s like a family. The authentic German food is terrific. German music is playing while you dine and enjoy beers imported from Germany. There is a large outdoor beer garden, where you can enjoy food, drinks and live music. A full bar is available in addition to the German beers. If you’re in the area, you really must stop in.

Excellent food! The fried perch was wonderful and BIG filets. The German potato salad was excellent, too. Good accordion music to listen to while you eat.

Cozy German atmosphere featuring authentic German brews not found in your typical bar. Full kitchen has tasty treats. Beer garden in back for the warm weather days. Saturday afternoon was $6 liters, can't beat that!

Our server, Zack/Zach, went way above and beyond to take care of our party. It was our first visit and got a mixture of German style potatoes, burger, schnitzel, and brats! Great beer selection and very family friendly! Highly recommended to any locals or passer-byers.

Great German restaurant pub in Germantown, WI. Nicely decorated in German motif. My 3 sausage plate was accompanied with red cabbage, sauerkraut, and a generous helping of spaetzle. The apple strudel that I had for dessert was fair, but not something that stands out. I will definitely return.

Diamond in the rough! There weren’t many people there on a Saturday for dinner and I don’t know why - the food was great, beer was good, and the outdoor space had plenty of seating and festive Halloween decor! I didn’t catch her name but the waitress/bartender went above and beyond and even helped us get a fire going outside! And you can even bring your dog! Their website and phone number are down, but I expect that’s just because of low staffing - something many restaurants are experiencing right now. Would highly recommend this place! :)

Fantastic bier with several varieties of Wiehenstephaner on tap! A wonderful small-town atmosphere, on this occasion I enjoyed revisiting the Boston hit, 'Amanda'. The Stube and neighboring BigBoy are under the same ownership. Both deliver an authentic ambiance that is so much nicer than the parking lots and busy roads that surround most restaurants today. If traveling north on I-41, this detour will add only ~9 minutes to your journey.

They weren't serving food, but the German/Bavarian beer and atmosphere were perfect. I'll be back next September for Octoberfest!

A really great German themed place. Love the outdoor beer garden with the live music. Our food was wonderful, great beer selection too, but the best part of the night was our hosts Tanner, she was really hustling all night. She checked in often, we were really pleased and impressed.

Best ever huge pretzel! Brat wa good, burger was good, however I had to send back once because it was really bloody. It took so long to get the recooked that I just took it with me. That was really the only issue, the food is great, the beer is great and the garden is delightful.

By far the best German restaurant in all of Germantown. The staff are quite friendly and the beer selection is amazing.

Update, it appears to be permanently closed. Such a shame, was one of the nicest beer gardens in the area. Previous: Nice selection of German beers that rotate seasonally. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere of many small rooms and not too loud, perfect for a small gathering. The outdoor beer garden has been upgraded substantially, lots of shade, great place the enjoy the outdoors!

Got a pineapple Shandy and it was hands down one of the best beers I've had in my life, the area is nice but the music options they pick are a little odd. They play pop, K-pop, and other upbeat music that just scratches your ear if it isn't your vibe. If you wanna go to a bier garden and enjoy the outside, this spot is good. The music isn't much good on the other hand

Tiny place, but loaded with rich warm character inside, plus fantastic beers. It has a huge outside beer garden and also plenty of parking available. Server's are polite and attentive.

Good food and beer. Nice staff and friendly customers. Will go back again.
