Germantown Ace Hardware

We live in the area and have this location service our riding lawn mower every season. They pick it up, service it and bring it back. With that said one of their employees, Terry is such a pleasure to deal with. He is so kind and friendly and really goes out of his way to make sure we were happy with their service. I was just there yesterday to get some propane gas for the grill and he was the guy who came out to help me. Again, sooooo friendly and asked me how the lawnmower was working. I was surprised that he remembered me but he did. I hope the manager of this store sees this review. Terry is a keeper with above par customer service. He deserves some recognition and praise for a job well done!

Have been meaning to write this review for awhile... I don’t know if I’ve ever had such terrific customer service! I was looking for a particular type of camping chair. When they didn’t have the specific design, a gentleman there contacted another location and had 2 brought to the store for me. “Above and beyond” really sums it up in my opinion.

Purchased a Weber grill at a great price. It was assembled, delivered and they hauled away the old one. The delivery person was quite accommodating and even polished the new grill. I would highly recommend them!!!

I love visiting the helpful hardware folks at the Germantown Ace. They're much closer to my home than Fleet Farm, Menard's and Home Depot. Moreover, they always have exactly what I need, including helpful advice on a wide range of DIY projects.

Convenient and knowledgeable staff. It's pricey but to be expected .

Great customer service. I needed a fix for a bad shower faucet. I had picked out what I thought might work. Jorge asked me if I needed some help. I told him what I wanted to do. He took me to the fittings and picked out an option that met what I needed much better than what I had chosen. Saved me headaches and extra trips. I appreciate the service at all Ace Hardware stores. Jorge and the staff at Germantown Ace represent the best of the brand.

I love my Germantown Ace Hardware they are so helpful. When I have a question or need things put in my car they are are happy to help me. I wish more stores were like them. Glad you're here in Germantown.

I needed keys made, and a nice lady used some sort of magic machine and I left with the keys I needed. If the power if that machine could be harnessed for the forces of good, we could rid the galaxy of the evil scourge of the Zarlons. If you haven't heard about the Zarlons count yourself lucky...

Called Ace Hardware in Germantown to see if a Milwaukee 11in1 screwdriver was in stock. Aimee said she would check…”yes, we have one in stock,” she said. “Perfect, thank you,” I say. (Without even asking to hold it.) I get there 20 minutes later and I’m greeted by, “hello, how can I help you?” It was Aimee, with the screwdriver, waiting for me by the cash register. Seriously, cannot find customer service like this anymore. Aimee deserves a raise and the recognition of exceptional customer service.

Employees are very helpful and have a supernatural ability to immediately know where anything and everything is located in the store. I'm happy to have this store so close to home.

Went to this particular Ace to take advantage of the paint sale going on this week. I have an Ace store closer to my home but the prices are $5 higher per gallon on the paint I chose. I had stopped in at this location when they first opened and I have to admit I wasn't won over by the size. However, they won me over this week the customer service I received. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I worked in retail in the past for many years and it was refreshing to see that this store was going back to old school and focusing on customer service. I ended up purchasing more than I originally planned and it was refreshing to have the staff help carry my items out to my car with out having to ask for help.

Friendly and helpful. If they don't know where something is they immediately call someone who does. Thank you

It was the first time in this store and the people who work there were awesome helping me find and locate what I wanted and they were absolutely wonderful I would recommend this store for anyone looking for a hardware store thank you Ace Hardware of Mequon

Love this store. Very friendly people. I purchase a Stihl and I had many questions. Very helpful and they know their products. I've been there many times now and the cashiers are friendly as well. Great small town feel to the place!

Nice neighborhood hardware store. I like to dig into the parts bins for hard to find fasteners and bits I need for projects around the house. Small selection of other stuff, prices are ok and I like the fact this is a local store for Germantown.

Great to have hardware store in Germantown. Scott the manager is the best. Helpful to me and my whole family. I would recommend going here before going to Menards, etc.

I shop here often for gifts for my boyfriend. The employees here are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I never though I'd enjoy going to a hardware store but they make the experience pleasurable.

I was taken care of by Steve (store manager as his tag said) and he was the nicest man. He was trying to program a fob for my Trailblazer and my truck was giving him one heck of a time, and I started feeling guilty on how long it was taking and there were customers waiting for him ... I told him he could take care of his customers and his reply took me aback "aren't you a customer?"
Thank you Steve for getting the fob programmed ... for as much problem as he was having I would have NEVER gotten it and Im not a slouch at technology lol.

Always great customer service. Being a small local store sometimes they are the place that has what the big stores dont have and sometimes they are the place that doesnt have what the big stores have. But they are always helpful and always have way better customer service than the big stores. Most of my projects involve at least one trip here.
