It's a nice spot, very clean and cozy.
A little small, if it's busy, but enough seating for 15-18 people, give or take.

Staff was friendly and service was fast. I will definitely visit again to try different menu items, the hazelnut latte was good.

A gorgeous space with superb coffee and excellent service. The baristas were kind and warm so I stayed a while to experience this beautiful shop. The pastry offerings are stunning and I had to restrain myself from ordering more than I needed. They had this pineapple coconut cake that Im still thinking about hours later. This space is inclusive and welcoming to all which reminds me of my home in Brooklyn, NY but with that Maine niceness 😂💜

Great place for coffee and chill. Service is prompt. I’m visiting Bangor, but in my two days here I can see regulars. They look comfortable and content as they sip their coffee with friends. The drip coffee is well made. I’m a coffee snob and this is 10x better than Starbucks or (forgive me) Dunkin’. They are pouring the Chimera blend, Ethiopian and Brazilian, roasted in Brewer Maine. Very smooth, medium roast with light berry notes I often find in Ethiopian coffees. Velvety mouthfeel I could drink all day.
Their Ethiopian pour over Precipice had amazing blueberry notes. It’s roasted by Tandem Coffee from Portland.
The banana coffee cake was fresh and tasty.

My friend and I went after seeing it while walking around downtown, and it immediately caught our attention with it being open so much later than the other local coffee spots. When we went in, the atmosphere was cozy yet aesthetic, with the signature chimera symbol on the wall. We ended up getting served by the owner, watched make the coffees and had a really amazing conversation. Overall, I will be going back as a new late night study spot to enjoy a really good seasonal latte.

11-12-23 first time in!! Mr. Coffee maker of my latte and I believe he is the owner was so welcoming, kind, friendly. His physical appearance was right on also. I felt "at home." I could've kept on our conversation forgetting I was in a place of business. Than you so much.

I was concerned the hot chocolate might not be sweet enough, due to it being 60%cocoa, and no whipped cream option...but it ended up being perfect. probably the best hot chocolate Ive ever had before. also it looked cool!

Wonderful atmosphere and very friendly barista who told my fiancé and I about some local things to try while we're in town. And a fantastic, strong cappucino that was clearly made with a quality shot of espresso-- best one I've had in a long time!

Great selection of coffee drinks and teas, as well as some supplemental baked good. Keep an eye on their social media for their occasional specialty offerings.

Finallllly a good latte in Maine! I tried sooo many places and was starting to lose hope of finding good espresso here.

I had the iced oat latte and iced decaf oat mocha and both were quality👌 They also had delicious apple cider donuts. They tasted super fresh like they had been baked that day.

If you’ve been disappointed by the espresso in Maine this place has got you!

Super cute coffee shop with friendly staff. I had a seasonal latte at the barista’s suggestion and it was lovely. They also have a few vegan baked good options, which was a pleasant surprise. There is ample seating, making it easy to enjoy your coffee without rushing out.

Loved the space and the hot chocolate was just right. It has an urban coffee shop feel... in a good way.

Probably, best coffee and cookies in Bangor! Moreover, we had a problem ordering a cab and they help us very kindly so we arrive at time to the station <3

Phenomenal customer service. I watched the employees help someone pick out a gift for their girlfriend that knew nothing about coffee and they did in a great job. They have pour overs, specialty drinks, and espresso. This is a great little coffee shop I would highly recommend and would love to come back.

Truly a blessing to Bangor, Maine. The coffee is exceptional, the service is outstanding, the environment and aesthetic is perfect. The owner is usually there and he is extremely friendly. My favorite place to get coffee in central Maine.

Love Chimera so much. The staff is always so fun to talk to, they are engaged and interested in their clients. I don’t even drink coffee and I love hanging out there!

Cute little cafe. I liked my cappuccino a lot. There is seating inside and outside too. I didn’t taste pastries, but they had some on display too and they looked good.
