DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

Sasha helped us get a pair of boots about 5 weeks ago and she gave us excellent attention and service and once my daughter selected the pair of boots that she liked Sasha looked for the correct size, but it was out of stock so she ordered it online. Yay!
One week later the boots arrived. We applied waterproofing (as a protective measure - it makes it easier to keep them clean). The boots fit well and were very comfortable.
Four weeks later one of the speed lace hooks popped off due to an improperly installed rivet. I went through customer service and the chat option too, but a replacement was not in stock. Sadness. They told me to go directly to the store and have them assist me. Thank you.
Three days later we returned to the DSW store and, as luck would have it, Sasha was working again. We went to the counter and explained the problem with the boots and the communication that I had with customer service. Sasha came over and was even more helpful than on the previous visit. She also searched online for the boots but couldn't find them either. So Sasha walked us through the boots and my daughter eventually chose a different pair and Sasha checked us out. It cost a little bit more for the alternate pair, but my daughter is worth it.
If you want phenomenal service with a fantastic personality and a good pair of shoes or boots then go see Sasha at DSW. She is the best!

DSW has so many styles and colors to choose from. They were my 1st and only stop for bridal shoes. The associates are kind and helpful!

Joined Rewards and got a shiny black and gold laundry bag free. I bought 2 pair snow boots and ea. - $50 and one a slip on by Sketchers with faux black fur is my all time favorite shoe/boot/slipper. Highest regard as I’m 75. I am waiting for my next pair a bootie for $26, free shipping to arrive. Order track says they’re in Connecticut so should be here soon😊

I bought a pair of non slip work shoes online from DSW-not my favorite shoe to buy, but hey, I’m on my feet all day! When they arrived they were two very different sizes-one 10, one 6 1/2. I brought them to the South Portland DSW and the gal at the register was so nice, they found a pair of comparable shoes of the same brand, as the ones I had purchased were now sold out. The new ones were a bit more expensive but they didn’t make me pay the difference! Kindness turned what otherwise could have been a stressful experience into an easy solution one! Will shop again.

Just went my first time yesterday because my daughter needed shoes for prom. It is HUGE! They have a very large selection, from sandals to sneakers to boots. Some of the prices were a little high, but they also have a clearance section with a lot to choose from. That is actually where we found Natalie's heels. I would go again, they had some amazing sandals I really want 😍!

Giving this store 5 stars because of a single employee, Jordan. She was Amazingly helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. She helped us save the Most money possible using all applicable deals and held a calm, kind, and composed demeanor throughout it all. She was also incredibly efficient and managed to answer all our needs/questions while being a leader of her team and addressing all their questions. DSW is always the place to go when you're looking for shoes or boots. With strong covid 19 procedures and a large enough location to offer more than 6 ft apart and a huge selection- this is the best location in Portland to shop for shoes. I also will always love their program where you can donate shoes for points towards your next purchase! I would've thrown the old shoes away anyways, but now they can be used elsewhere- and I feel better about myself! So bring some shoes to donate for that much needed self esteem boost!
