The molasses date stuffed cookies incredibly good. If ever in bangor, ME. Stop in there. It is just awesome. Great cheese pizza 🍕

Stopped here on a trip yo Acadia Just to get some of those classic Maine Whoopie Pies.

The Whoopie Pies were really soft and fresh! Cake was soft and fluffy, filling was light and creamy, not too sweet; Just the right amount. Overall great! I could have gone for multiple. Light to eat too!

Strawberry Tart was fresh as well. Nice sweet-tart jam and good balance with the shell.

Lemon Blueberry Crumb Bars had a good bold flavor too. Both The lemon and the blueberry came out well. Bars game cold and if have preferred it room temperature, but maybe that was how it was supposed to be? Either way, it was good.

Best cake I’ve had in a long time! This bakery really masters its craft. It’s got so many confectionery selections, but I only got the cake so that’s all I can review. But the cake was great! If I need something for dessert I will definitely be going back!

Fast service with easy parking. Tons of bakery goods with a cake shop attached. We had the French Toast and the 95 South sandwich, no complaints. had enough room left to split a frosted cookie, Date Filled Molasses cookie, and a whoopie pie. Only remembered to take pics of a couple of the items we bought they were so good.

Their cookie/cake section is my favorite. It’s absolutely phenomenal. The frosting is super rich and creamy, it goes along with the light and fluffy cookie base perfectly and make your mouth water. They have amazing decorating skills too, you’d think they were gourmet specialty cookies. The way the frosting layers with each other is so delicate and elegant, it melts in your mouth. I also really like their crunchy and cheesy pizza along with their massive selection of pastries and donuts.

Bismarck's are the best I've ever had. Great sandwiches and really delicious breakfast sandwiches. Pizza is on point. The atmosphere is immaculate.
This place is always a treat. Can't say enough great stuff about it. Franks really gives the "Bangor" experience!

We were so excited to find a real bakery during our stay in Bangor! Frank's came highly recommended by the locals. We were looking for a good blueberry pie, and we found one! 🫐 We also found *several* other treats to bring back to our hotel, like the raspberry crumble bar and hermit bars. Yum.

Frank's was voted best breakfast sandwich for a reason. Their biscuits are out of this world. My usual is with an over-easy egg, sauteed green pepper and onion, and American cheese. Also delicious with sausage. They make a deliciously smooth and flavorful quiche. Their new cheesecake cupcakes are to die for and there are so many flavors to choose from (but unfortunately, I suggest steering clear of any lemon varieties; I think they might use essential oil or something because they taste soapy). I also love that they offer iced coffee, which they sweeten with simple syrup instead of granulated sugar. Oh, they make their own veggie burgers, and they're really yummy, especially with the chipotle mayo. Finally, in the interest of full disclosure, I confess that I do not like their donuts. They just don't do it for me. But plenty of people love them, so give them a try. Anyway, Frank's is a Bangor institution; their recent upgrades make their bakery a really lovely spot for breakfast or lunch, and the staff members are so personable.

Have been gone from Bangor for several years and was pleasantly surprised at all the changes at Frank's, especially the expansion of eat in areas. Had a nice chicken caprese sandwich. Very tasty but didn't have the pesto mayo. I'd asked for it on the side, but after they brought it over to where we were seated I realized they gave me a packet of mayo on the side instead of the pesto mayo. I didn't bother going back to the counter to get it and enjoyed the sandwich without. Also bought a small birthday cake for the next day which we haven't had yet.

Had franks version of the Cuban sandwich today, it's pretty close to the Florida classic sandwich, the taste is 100% there, the bread is golden brown, but the texture of the bread is just a tad softer. Still a great play off of a Cuban, delicious

really amazing hot food and bakery. even their gluten free bakery is delicious(butterscotch blondie :D) . the customer service was awesome, brought back the essence of hospitality. Ill be going back often.lol

I think it was the glazed bun that converted me to a Frank’s believer. I was not a hard convert other than the calorie considerations, but why go to a bakery if you are concerned about that. I also found the other donuts which were more the cake type satisfying. All the baked goods tasted fresh. Staff were great offering suggestions for what I may like and they were right.

I hired Frank's to make my 2-tier wedding cake for my January wedding. My husband and I were already a fan of Frank's cookies, cakes and donuts and knew they would do a great job on our wedding cake. I was able to plan everything with them remotely over the phone and by e-mail and the ordering process was very easy. They delivered the cake to my reception venue on the day of the wedding without issue and in perfect condition. Pricing was very reasonable for a wedding cake. Staff was always friendly and helpful. I knew I could count on Frank's for excellent quality and service for our special day. Will continue to order my sweet treat's through Frank's in the future.

Best cookies, cupcakes, and cakes in BGR. Donuts, too. Friendly counter service. Clean operation, easy parking, around corner if not out front. Locally owned and operated is a +++.

We absolutely love the donuts, honey buns and apple fritters here. And we live 2 hours away, so when we come to town we call our order in advance to make sure we get our favorites!

The coffee isn’t the best. Just average. But that’s the only complaint I have. Everything else is amazing. I was in Bangor for two weeks for work and went here several times. Everyone and everything is perfect. (Besides the hot coffee I had a couple times) but that doesn’t bother me. But sometimes people are very particular about coffee

It's expensive, but it is a great cake! Today's frosting wasn't it's normal! It was very, different than it usually is! Hopefully, they haven't changed their frosting recipe!!

As recommended by the local bookstore employee, we enjoyed all that we bought at this bakery. We were there specifically for doughnuts to use as shortcakes, but the cases were full of delicious looking items. I did indulge in the raspberry turnover as well, and it was tasty. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

We have been looking for a good bakery since arriving in the area earlier this month. Frank's is just what we were looking for friendly, inviting, and a great selection of pastries, not just donuts. We git a variety of turnovers, scones, cookies, fritters, and yes donuts. All have been delicious. We will be back for more.

Frank’s always hits it out of the park, I ordered a cake for my mom’s birthday and it was exactly what I was looking for.
