Evolve Fitness

Serious gym with good equipment for lifters, at least one of just about anything you'd want to use (with the curious exception of a seated press rack). Good crowd and usually comfortably busy but not crowded. I can't speak to the group fitness classes but they sound like they're having a good time.

The staff is always friendly when I walk in the door and I’ve had very pleasant conversations with the other patrons. I only wish the gym had a better layout but hey, that’s Maine, you work with what you got. Much rather the gym as is than none at all!

Really enjoyed visiting this week. It still has a lot of elements from the golds gym days and that's not a bad thing. I'll be interested to see the finished facility once the transition is complete. Nice work, continue to provide that gold's experience with a facelift. Thank you!

I found this gym using my GymPass app. Great gym for the price I pay. Clean lockers, showers, and sauna. The gym floor is always kept tidy and everyone is respectful of one another and their space.

Update: Been going here several times a week for a few months now. Still love it here!

Excellent gym. Large with all the equipment necessary for a great workout.

A gym community with areas for personal or group workouts. Real lifting equipment and plenty of cardio equipment. Enjoyed my first day

Went there with a free pass to check it out. Will definitely get a monthly no commitment membership whenever I am in Bangor because i am in school in Boston. The lady at the front (I forgot to ask her name) was so welcoming and helpful in explaining the layout of the facility. Awesome place, highly recommend coming here.

While vacationing in Maine from Florida, I had the pleasure of visiting the facility. The staff were kind, courteous and knowledgeable. I was able to obtain a 7 day pass for a nominal fee and was given all access. Locker rooms and majority of the center was very clean. I would probably remove the boxes of lost and found shoes before the entrance way. Was a pleasure visiting your establishment.

I prospected for one week and became an official member last night. I love the atmosphere. They have so much to offer and the employees are wonderful. Very attentive and always working to keep things organized and clean. I wouldn’t want to be a member anywhere else.

Definitely one of the best gyms in the area. Certainly better than any of the hotel gyms!
