Bill Tisdale - State Farm Insurance Agent

Evan cut my bill by more than half by switching to State Farm, and I got renter's insurance on top of the same level of auto coverage that I had before. The drive safe and save thing is actually kind of fun, it's like a competition with yourself and other drivers in your home to see who can get the highest score. And after driving safe for a while you get a larger discount off your bill. Especially now where everything is getting so expensive, it's nice to be able to save. Thanks, Evan.

Bill and his team have been FANTASTIC over the years that we have dealt with State Farm. Not only was he able to squeeze me into his busy schedule (as I was flexible) to discuss family matters that needed his expertise he also answered all of my questions, took the time to have us feel comfortable, and looking at some next stages and plans. During a terrific winter storm the day before Christmas about a third of my roof shingles blew off causing huge leaks. Fortunately I had someone who could come and fix it right away. Unfortunately I didn’t know to take photos to show the damages. Photos are very important, people!! Corporate State Farm was about to deny the claim but Bill Tisdale went to bat for me and all came out very well. It pays to have a good agent…literally!!

Bill was totally transparent and informative about all my different options while setting up my life insurance and retirement account with State Farm; I really believe Bill was working towards what was best for me. I had originally shopped around for a better auto policy and couldn’t find anything else that compares to what I was able to get with State Farm, at such a fair price. Forwarding along, I now sought them out for Home and Life as well. Their bundling discounts are excellent. Bill can provide the figures and numbers that help it all make sense. He’s fair, courteous, and personable. He never made me feel pressured to shop for more than what was within my needs or means. Very satisfied to have become a customer!

We have been State Farm customers since 1992. We have had many agents during this period of time and chose to move our policies to where Bill was when he opened his own place because he was so incredible to work with, very personable and kind. My family absolutely loves working with Bill and Megaen. They are wonderful and always attend to our needs promptly, whether we call or email. We have 9 vehicles, home insurance and life insurance, state farm credit card and have also had vehicle loans with them. We have had accidents and they have walked us through the process every step of the way. They are always very kind and helpful when dealing with our teenage drivers and great at putting them at ease with setting up insurance. Whenever we stop in the office to just say hello, we are always greeted with a big smile and friendly hello and if they aren't busy we will spend a few moments just chatting about life and family. I've been going through State Farm for my insurance my entire life. My parents have been customers of theirs for over 25 years and they were there when I was going through drivers ed and eventually getting my license. They were extremely helpful when I had my first car accident and made it easier to deal with. When I finally went out on my own for insurance they were my first choice because I know how great they are with their customers. Meagan has known me since I was 9 years old and been there every step of the way to help me. I don't just have car insurance through them, they also are the bank my car loan is through and I have life insurance as well. Bill was incredibly great helping me through the life insurance policies and helping me understand it better.

Bill and his staff handle all of my insurance needs from business to property to auto. Since our first meeting he and his staff have surpassed my expectations. They take the time to make sure I understand my coverage and to make sure that I have the coverage I need. They look at every aspect of my personal and professional life and I feel like I have insurance for any event that may occur. Highly recommend.

I have been impressed with Bill and his team at State Farm. They have been professional courteous and attentive to detail - and patient. I talked with Bill at length as I was trying to decide what products would be the best fit for me. He was knowledgeable and helpful in explaining to me what would I really need.

I have been with State Farm for many years, and unfortunately, the Orono office cycled through many agents. I've been working with Bill since he took over the office in Orono in 2013. He is the first agent I fully trust to give honest advice. During a life changing event, Bill took a great deal of his time to thoroughly explain my options for life insurance, as well as home/auto policies. His insight allowed me to see that other companies may have had better rates, but the "there when you need us" statement just wasn't the same. As soon as I heard Bill was leaving the Orono office, I asked to transfer my policy to his Bangor location. I have never doubted my decision to follow Bill. He and his staff care more about having a happy client than any of the other agents I have dealt with. Whether it's a scheduled visit or just a drop in to ask a quick question, I have always been greeted with smiling faces and offers for a coffee or water. I would highly recommend Bill to anyone who is looking for an honest, hard-working insurance agent that focuses on his clients' needs.

I want to start out by saying that this is the best insurance company I have dealt with. I switched to state farm in 2012 because of the amazing customer service and outstanding rates. Bill and his staff have treated my family great and treated us fair. I love the fact that I can call one agent and deal with all my questions under one roof. The more coverage that you have through state farm the cheaper the overall rate is. Not to mention if you invest your money in an insurance company that goes under you will lose everything. Why not deal with an insurance agency that is one of the most successful and best rated in the nation?

These comments are completely unwarranted and to be honest if you are that critical I'm sure that you are not an easy customer to deal with either.
It's amazing how someone can look at an agent getting to know you and preparing your family for the future as a pressuring salesman. We are all adults here if you have a problem with meeting an agent than do not go or if you do not want anymore coverage say, "no thank you". The issue today is that a lot of people look at insurance as paying money for something that they may not ever use. I even used to think that, but let me assure you that insurance is peace of mind. Knowing that my family will be taken care of in case of an accident whether it is a car accident, house fire, sudden death, disability etc. As for change in staff. I know at least two or three people out of the five or so that have been there since I became a customer; I call and say my first name and they immediately know who I am. Changing staff is a never ending cycle, anyone in business understands this. Did you ever ask yourself maybe they went on to open their own office? Always remember that not everything is as it seems.

In closing State Farm might not be for everyone but it is for my family and I am willing to drive over an hour for any meeting they want to have, even with my newborn, because that is how much this agency means to me and my family and how well they treat us.

My husband and I were referred to Bill Tisdale through our friend James Macomber from Maine Stream Finance for a quote on commercial insurance for a business plan we were working on. One year later we have our car insurance, life insurance, we do all of our banking with a savings accounts, checking, and today he helped us re-finance our new car loan! We can not say enough good things about Mr. Bill Tisdale. I know he may cringe seeing us come through the door as were always full of questions and “what if”scenarios but Bill and his team have been so wonderful to work with and MOST OF ALL... Bill is a fabulous insurance agent. He is incredibly knowledgeable and walked us through all of our insurance options, helped us identify our needs, and was not at all pushy. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for home, auto, life, or disability insurance.

I have had state farm insurance company since 1997..And there is a reason for that I absoultly love this company megan that works there goes above and beyond her job of I am getting g close to my insurance being late and lapsing she will call me and just give me heads up and we take care of issue right tgen and there I absoultly love her and her customer service skills are absoultly amazing! And Bill I have only talked with him a couple of times but once again he took right care of my peoblwm I had at the time overall this company to me get a a 5+++ amazing
