The Flour Pot Bakery and Coffeeshop

Blown away by the flavors that are absorbed in the doughs! Real apples in the fritters, sweet cherries for the danishes, nice crisp on the out sides of the doughnuts and Hugh smiles from the ladies behind the counter. People are always coming and going from the shop so hurry in before they run out!

We had The Flour Pot make donuts for our wedding as well as other desserts. They were SO good, there wasn’t a donut left over at the end of the night. Lindsey came to set everything up and it was beautiful! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Great place for donuts, cakes, and cookies. Conveniently located in downtown Elk Rapids. These were special order for a baby shower.

Great chocolate Long John. Service was very fast - only about a minute between approaching the window and getting my food. Looking forward to trying more of their menu.

Love this little happy bakery! The new owners brought such creativity when they took over. Keeping some of the tried and true recipes but adding their own flair with custom cakes and cookies... The staff is super positive and kind. A great change to the old Elk Rapids favorite.

Adorable bakery with the most unique and quality baked goods. Prices were better than expected and the staff was efficient and kind. We will be back as often as possible! I need another cinnamon roll and more Oreo donuts ASAP!!

If you need any type of cake- this is the place to go. I share a birthday with one of my dogs so I requested birthday cakes for my dogs and a “people” cake for me to share at our mutual birthday party. Lindsay said she doesn’t normally do dog friendly cakes but was happy to do that for me. They were fantastic and my pups loved them. The human cake was delish, too! I highly recommend this establishment! Kudos to Lindsay!

Great doughnuts. Word of advice: get there early! We got there around 10 on a Saturday and all they had left were apple fritters. Their apple fritters are really delicious, so it wasn't a waste, but if you want more selection you need to get there early.

Awesome homemade donuts that are the best!! Not too many local donut bakeries like this one left. And.... the review that said these donuts have "no taste" please get your taste buds checked!

Love this place -- went here all the time as a kid, and it had been closed (new owners? and new name), so it feels like it has been forever and I was hoping that not too much had changed. Always stopping in too late to get pies, which I suppose in itself is an indication that the quality has been sustained through the changes, and the donuts were still great!

This is the best little bakery! Such a great selection of goodies, all fresh made & you can special order in case you don't get there in time. The Flour Pot is awesome!

I’ve never had a better custard-filled donut than from this bakery. The cookies are beautiful, sweet, and tasty. Great for treats of so many kinds.
