Total surprise on our way home to Detroit. Wonderful menu. Unbelievable breakfast options. Maple Pumpkin Pancakes, Patty Melt and Pork tenderloin eggs Benedikt with an orange flavored Hollandaise. Our of this world. Not to forget the lovely service by the staff. Well worth the detour.

Hands down just ate one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! This place is above and beyond starting with welcoming and friendly hospitality to wonderful atmosphere followed by delicious, fresh, homemade food with creative creations in menu choices. I was passing through town and saw the sign and so glad I stopped in. Being from Chicago it takes a lot to knock me out with tasty food and this has surpassed many other restaurant experiences. I will definitely plan a way to get back here to try the other 6 choices on the menu that made my mouth water!

As soon as I walked in I loved the cozy atmosphere. It was truly like coming home for lunch. The food was perfect and the wait staff felt like family. Can't wait to go again! Thank you for the awesome experience!!!

Hands down the best brunch cafe! Food was scrumptious and the service was above and beyond! Our server Mary was amazing!

We randomly stopped here on our way home from skiing at Caberfae Peaks. WOW! So glad we chose this place. The food came out fast and it was fantastic! My husband had the pork tenderloin Benedict and I had hash and eggs. They have a very nice selection of gourmet coffee drinks and an amazing food selection on the menu. If you’ve ever been thinking about stopping here for breakfast, do it! You won’t regret it.

This was an excellent breakfast option. I had the Greek Yogurt, bagel and pancake. The atmosphere, the food was great. They have an outdoor dining option.

DOG FRIENDLY OUTDOOR SEATING
I have been here several times while traveling through Kalkaska. This is a must stop locally owned, dog themed, diner/restaurant. There is outdoor seating, indoor seating in both booth and table and hightop and diner style seating. They have a full coffee menu I would suggest a dirty chai latte. The business is clean, the restrooms are great, staff is high energy and engaging. The kitchen staff is great!

Great local diner! Was packed when we arrived for a late breakfast (served all day until they close at 3:00 pm). Because of the crowd, it was quite noisy but that is very much a typical diner atmosphere. We loved it and can see the appeal.

Love this place clean, quick and sweet staff. Sage was our waitress and went above and beyond. Ordered a Great Dane burger for breakfast and added an egg on top. Thank you . will be back

Very friendly atmosphere with great breakfast options. I had the Country skillet. (Big portion). My husband had the Corned beef hash, so good with a lot of Corned Beef. ( not overly salty). It was very busy and service was quick.

Great place for breakfast! All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Limited seating and high popularity so you may have to wait but well worthwhile. Try the skillets or pancakes and definitely the coffee!

We went for breakfast and absolutely fell in love with the place. The atmosphere is light hearted and welcoming, the service is very friendly and the food is very well priced. We will be happily returning again soon.

Small but mighty diner. Food looked amazing and was delicious and the server was quick, bubbly, and attentive to our needs. Building was clean.

First time to Moose & Stella’s. Stopped for breakfast and was not only pleasantly surprised but blown away! By far, best breakfast we’ve had in northern MI, including TC. Hash & Eggs was amazing. Crispy potatoes, tender corned beef and perfectly toasted sour dough bread. Topped off with Chai Tea Latte. My wife ordered stacked, baked French toast with caramel latte. This will be our go-to from now on. Great food. Very clean. Super friendly service.

What a hidden gem! Cute little diner with tremendous service and outstanding food! Ordered salad and husband ordered corned beef hash with over easy eggs and pancakes! Eggs perfectly cooked and the hash was delicious. But let’s talk about the pancakes! Oh my goodness! THE BEST PANCAKES IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!! the fried chicken Cobb salad was also colorful, fresh and delicious!!! Definitely a must stop when in the area!

Super relaxing place for breakfast! My Nana and I came here and got the fruit parfait and it was so delishious and the presentation was excellent. The people working here we're SO nice and friendly. I totally reccomend. We might come here tomorrow morning too! Coffee was great too. They gave us plenty of sugar, creamer and honey :).

Good service and great food. We ordered the chicken noodle soup, baked French toast, veggie skillet, and country skillet. The food came right away and everything was amazing. Would recommend.

So great! Stopped on our drive back to Chicago and we are so glad we did! We love an all day breakfast option. I had the breakfast panini with fruit. It was SO tasty and not greasy. The fruit was berries & fresh banana! My husband had a side of biscuits & gravy and said it was the best he’s ever had. The place was sparkling clean and the service was over-the-top. We will definitely be back!
