Never thought I could get two poinsettias at the same store with my food stamps and one almost died on me but they're holding up happy holidays.

What a pleasant little stop! I am driving through on my first time in Michigan from Nebraska. Northland Foods is a beautiful and clean neighborhood grocery store. I saw many locals shopping here, chatting and happy with each other. A lot of seniors so you know it is a frugal choice!

Employees were thoughtful, professional, and answered my every question with knowledgeable ease. The cashier wished me safe travels home. This store also gets an A+ for physical cleanliness, upkeep, and a very nice bathroom. Food was high quality and fresh, including a nice variety of produce. They also have a general store.

This was a beautiful bright spot on my journey. I was a child in the 1980s the last time I felt this welcomed and cozy in a grocery store. This is a true piece of community, and I will definitely return if I ever pass by Kalkaska, Michigan again.

The best store around for variety and prices! I bought fruit and it was priced great and delicious. They had a sale on ground chuck as well, which was nice and red all the way through.

Love this store! Love there gas discounts. Staff could be a little more friendlier. Good prices. Bottle return needs major help! It's not customer friendly so I return mine elsewhere. Usually good gas prices. Like using their gas station.

I grew up here and have always liked Northland Food. Their deli is fantastic along with the high quality meats. The staff are always helpful and happy also.

I went in to the clothing department today. I had never been to the clothing area of Northland before that. I was greeted with a very welcoming smile from a friendly, attractive woman that was running that department. I talked with her for a little while, and she was very helpful and genuinely kind. I ended up purchasing a pair of warm slippers. I would recommend going to clothing department, and see Anne. They have a great selection. I will be going back just to see that welcoming smile. Thanks again Anne....

The store is always very clean and well stocked. The staff are very helpful and curteous. Best place in town to shop! Prices are great. Bought 6 Ribeye steaks for under 30.

We like this store a lot, sometimes, the employees could be a little more friendly and helpful, except Tammy in bakery, she is exceptional. The pharmacy is also very helpful and friendly, but it seems the grocery employees are not happy to be here. Good store, good sales prices.
