Osaka Japanese Steakhouse

Our chef Casey was so nice and cool. Made our food excellent. The service all around was good consider we were in late before closing. I normally go to the location in Shelby township but this location might be our new one! We’re going to also request for Casey every time.

Awesome Hibachi restaurant, and we didn’t even need reservations on Valentine’s Day. The specials are a great deal. The portions were huge. Our chef was a little heavy handed with the soy sauce for my taste but the food was still great, and the chef was very accommodating to requests. The waitress was fantastic too. Definitely ask for double yum yum sauce, it’s amazing! The quality of the meat was great. They had an extensive sushi menu too.

We came with a large group for a birthday party. They were very accommodating to us.

The servers and the front of house staff were all very nice.

The chef was probably the best hibachi chef we've ever had. He did the typical amount of tricks and flair but was very funny and worked well with our group.

The food was delicious and cooked perfectly.

The parking lot was packed, but luckily most people were waiting on Hibachi, so we were able to be seated right away. We ordered the Beno boxes with the chicken Katsu, as recommended by our server. It was amazing, and perfect for the person who doesn't want just one thing. We chose to upgrade the rice to fried rice, but the default option is normal steamed rice. Highly recommend for a date night!

The environment is good.
Full of people every time.
& they have special section too where the chef cook in front of you best thing.
Everything is good.
But for me, food is like okay okay.

I took my mother here for mother's day 2021 and we enjoyed ourselves. The waitress was very kind, prompt, and accommodating. The food was very good, I loved the salmon hibachi I ordered and my mom loved her steak hibachi. She also said her margarita tasted great! One thing that really stood out to me was the atmosphere. The decor and furnishing were amazing. I definitely recommend, and would go here again.

Added note, I also saw the social distancing guidelines being followed, and everyone had a mask.

Absolutely AMAZING experience every time!!! The food has NO room for complaints, the team literally treats you like GOLD, and the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. I love it here!

Absolutely delicious. Hubby enjoyed the I’m on Fire Roll - very spicy! All ingredients were fresh and beautifully presented. The restaurant has a beautiful cherry tree inside and we got to sit under it. Service was also great.

Amazing food. Always very accommodating I have a food allergy and they make special arrangements for me every time I come in. The food tastes great and is a lot of food for the price.

It's definitely not an everyday eating deal but the food was delicious. From the soup and salad appetizers up to my main course. You're definitely paying for the show and experience but it's worth it.

I got take out and it was a combination plate with fried noodles and shrimp, steak and chicken. Wow, they didn’t disappoint and I had the fried rice on the side. Everything was delicious and I’ll definitely be back again. It was a twenty min wait but well worth it because the food is amazing. I can only imagine the dine in experience to be just as amazing. I think it’s the fried noodles for me and next time I’ll ask for a side of fried noodles instead of the rice. The noodles are chef kiss. ❤❤

Wonderful place to celebrate your birthday. Quality of the steak is fantastic, the fried rice is excellent, and the dressing for the salad was to die for. The shrimp was tasty, and the fried noodles were flavored perfectly. The service is excellent. Overall ambiance is perfect for any special occasion.

Great food and atmosphere. Our 1st time here. The food was very good, our Hibachi chef did a wonderful job of cooking and entertaining us as well as cooking. Great place to go with friends and family. Food was good also

The service was fantastic, they were nice and polite. The food is great and my order was served swiftly. The prices are reasonable.

This is the best Hibachi grill we have been to. Everything was prepared with amazing flavors. Many Hibachi restaurants everything tastes the same....not OSAKA!!!! The chicken was delicious and juicy, rice and noodles had their own unique developed flavors and vegetables were perfectly cooked....now the only negative I have is the iced tea...it was a powder or from the fountain. It's a shame to wash down this amazing cuisine with instant tea. I would like to see fresh brewed ice tea here....it would make this place beyond amazing. We will be back!!!

Had a nice time with my family. Good food and my granddaughter 3 had a lot fun watching the chef cook on the grill.

The best Hibachi experience I’ve had in 23 years. Our Chef Ken went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time, and even better food ! I would come back here any day. We took my grandpa here, he’s picky but he cleaned his plate before any of us were half finished. Would highly recommend Osaka to anyone and everyone. Thanks for a great time

We go here and two other places, but this experience we had was a different. We had Ken as the cook. His personality and experience came through to make it a unique, fun and delightful dinner! He genuinely cared about each of us and our dinner and we felt he wasn’t going through the motions, he was just there to make each of our dinners special. We would go back first just for him!
The food was also fresh, tender, perfectly seasoned and cooked!

My wife and I were looking for a decent restaurant to celebrate our anniversary during Black Friday weekend. Osaka had favorable reviews, and their menu offerings were in line with our taste buds! We were pleasantly surprised by their awesome service! Some Hibachi style restaurants typically wait to fill each table with patrons before serving food, but these guys started with only 2 couples. The cooks were engaging ( very personable) and skilled in their presentation. We sincerely think this type of service along with their quality food is what distinguishes them from their competitors. We look forward to our future return visit! I Highly recommend Osaka Japenese Steakhouse.
