Emagine Royal Oak

A nice Emagine theater in downtown Royal Oak.

The lobby is very nice and spacious. They have a good layout for the concession line and snack area.

They also have a small bar, arcade, and even a bowling alley upstairs.

We were seeing a screening of an older film, so it's awesome that they show old and new stuff here.

The seats were super comfy and overall it was a nice experience.

Highly recommended.

This Emagine is always clean, especially the restrooms! Friendly, polite employees and fresh food. I regularly frequent this theatre because they offer many perks after getting a membership, and of course you can’t beat $5 movies all day Tuesdays plus a free small popcorn, even if you’re not a member 🙂

We watched Dune part 2 and we were happy we chose to watch it here. It's a long movie, and I am glad that the space was clean and seats were very comfortable. I was very surprised by how good the Margherita pizza was here! This is our favorite movie theater in the area.

Always a great experience here the staff is always kind and helpful. This location has a bowling alley and the kids enjoy themselves each time we’ve been here. Never any problems decent snacks and options for the whole family to have a good chill time. The reclining seats and vibes are everything.

Out of towner here and had a great experience. Good ticket prices are $7.25 for Matinee showing. Concessions staff was very friendly, and the food was fresh and also well priced. Auditoriums were nice and offered digital projection and recliners.

Great experience. We came here to watch The Rose Bowl which surprisingly really cool. I wasn't sure how I'd like the set up but they have servers who can bring you food so you don't have to miss any of the action. Pretty nice bar and concessions set up. Spacious and clean restrooms. And of course quality seating and views in the theater.

Ultmate comforting a movie theater. The seats are soft, comfortable, and recliners. Theater was very clean.
My Complaint: A door was completely missing in the women's bathroom, leaving that stall opened to the public view.
Otherwise, bath rooms freshened, clean with soap, and paper towels access. All toilets flushed properly.
Able to park free on the movie lot.
Quick service at the confection stand.

Very nice neighborhood movie theatre. New interior with reclining theatre seats and has a great snack selection (pricey, but good). Very walkable to dinner and bar locations across downtown Royal Oak. Also has an electric charging station which is helpful if you want to charge your car during a movie.

This is my absolute favorite movie theater! Excellent service, great food and drink and top notch films at a more than reasonable price! I love it so much I'm going twice a month to see films!

Very comfortable seating. They even have cuddle couches in the front row! Heated seats too in the recliners. Great for date nights don’t forget to pay for parking though, kiosk takes credit cards and typical cost is about $3.00 for a movie time for parking. It’s located by parki g garage just to left of theatre.

I truly enjoy this location. At times the parking is challenging, even with the parking structure. However the staff is always friendly and it’s usually an all around great experience, rather during the day or at night

I really enjoy going to the movies here…the employees are pleasant, the location is prime for doing fun things after the movies and I love how they have a popcorn holder that not a lot of theaters have and that you can recline the seats…Emagine is usually my first choice when choosing a movie theater.

Very nice, clean, friendly and most importantly the staff there was very patient.
I had a bunch of kids with me and if you have kids and/or babysat you know just how bad/good the situation can be.

Needless to say we all had a great time and it was relieving to know that there were such patient people. Keep up the great work!!

Love this place.
Theaters seats are comfy, luxurious, clean and well maintained.
You can book your tickets with the app, which is super convenient! They have discounts for students. You get a free ticket for your birthday if you sign with the reward card (which is free).
Dine in option, while watching the movies, is available.
Parking in the structure is very convenient. Valet parking is also an option and is cheap.
Bowling allies, bar, restaurant, and party planning is available as well.

This is a very nice theater with heated comfy seats! Only complaint is that you have to pay for parking but that's not emagine's fault. Friendly staff and high quality sound and picture.

Wonderful atmosphere that reminded me of the Emagine near home! Heated seats, which were quite comfortable, welcoming staff, couldn't ask for more!

Definitely one of the better places, but there was 1 time when the theater seats still had popcorn in it. Cmon Emagine Royal Oak, don't fall off!! Don't fall down, get them kids in order.

Pros: Amazing theater experience. So many amenities. Clean and well kept. Security visible everywhere.
Large spacious reclining heated seats. Large food selection and a bar. they’ll deliver it all to your seat at a decent price.
Lots of theaters, lots of current movie choices with different viewing options.
Pool tables and arcade games too.
Cons: the seats are big which makes the theater seating limited so it fills up fast, only fits half the amount of typical theaters so plan ahead and Buy seats online ahead of time.
Never buy the “cuddle couch” seats. They are painfully close to the screen.

Recently went here to see the new Batman film. The place was very clean and the staff were friendly. Parking was very easy this time as to I decided to use the valet. Will definitely come back again

I love going to the Emagine Theater in Royal Oak. They provide great service, a variety of your favorite snacks and movies that appeal to everyone.
