Black Box Coffee Shop and Art

A nice cafe. They have a bike rack and even offers a window to walk up to to order. Basically a drive thru but for pedestrians/cyclists.

The service was great, at least when I went in. The lavender latte I tried wasn’t special, but this cafe is great for pedestrians and cyclists, which isn’t very common.

I’ve only been here once, but I’ll update my review if I go there again. Hopefully something else on the menu will be more my taste.

Absolute best coffee shop in Dearborn! The matcha latte with oat milk is like nothing i’ve ever had before. The staff is so welcoming and puts a smile on my face every-time I walk in! Black Box is a staple for me and I recommend it to everyone that’s in the area. Also the art displayed in the gallery is always amazing!

I absolutely love this place! An absolute staple in the community. The drinks and sweets are amazing, plus the service is even better. The baristas are always quick to accommodate, especially when I ask for extra modifications! Couldn’t recommend this spot enough.

When I lived closer I would come quite often for the blackberry almond cake!! and the coffee. My favorite the lavender latte it’s usually well balanced not bitter and foamy on top which I enjoy. The art is nice to view while waiting nice it’s a relaxed atmosphere. Staff are pleasant and smiling too which makes a difference when comparing coffee shops. I still visit even if I’m not in the neighborhood but craving a good cup of joe.

Many businesses struggle with creating an experience that guest will continue to enjoy and share with others. 5 Stars for Customer Service, 5 Stars for Decor, 5 Stars for location, nestled on the corner right in the heart of downtown Dearborns trending area, 5 Stars for accessibility, Indoor and outdoor walk up window is wheelchair friendly as well as patio seating. Free parking just steps away from entry. Add this place to the TOP of your next places to go. You’ll definitely see me there, I love all the smiling faces. 😌☕

I come here EVERY day. This place has the best coffee but more importantly the BEST baristas! Fatima is my go to and knows my drink by heart. She is constantly smiling and such a joy to be around! Angie, Sarah, and everyone else there are absolute gems! They make you feel welcome and loved. Best coffee shop in michigan!

A wonderfully calm yet exciting place to be! The service is fast, pleasant, and you feel at home. The coffee is impeccable and they offer great options that are fresh and light but packed with flavor. The foods and sweets are freshly homemade and will be the best compliment to your visit. The art and lighting make your coffee even more comforting as you see the passion of many local artists displayed along the wall.

Love this space—I don’t get out to Dearborn often but when I do I stop in here for a chai latte. It is my favorite chai latte in the area! And I love when they collaborate with Metro Swaps for events. It’s a great use of their space.

I’ve had bad experiences with almost every coffee shop in Dearborn/Dearborn Heights area, but black box is the best. Their coffees and little gallery is amazing, and the baristas are the friendliest people ever. I recommend Black Box to any person looking for the best coffee.

Today was me and my sister's first time here. We ran into Sarah who took our order. She was extremely sweet, friendly and very helpful. The interior of the shop felt like an art museum. Ended up getting a mocha latte and a cookie. Both were super delicious. Looking forward to trying other things on the item. The atmosphere is very relaxing and chill. Adding this shop on my top ten in Dearborn. Overall our experience has been well and fantastic!

I went to Blackbox for the first time last week. It was a great experience full of knowledge staff. Barista Fatima suggested a lavender latte which was so good! would definitely go back again :)

Blackbox is a local coffee shop in my town of many many coffee shops. I find myself at blackbox every morning despite all of the options because of the atmosphere and positive vibes I get from the moment I walk in to the moment I leave. The staff greets you with a warm “welcome in” with a huge smile on their faces and that type of positive energy is just exactly what you need every morning before tackling your day. Their coffee is immaculate, they use the perfect ratio of milk to coffee/ espresso, and you get the same exact flavor every single time you order your drink. There are no days where I feel like my drink tastes off, which is a norm at places like starbucks and Dunkin’.
Needless to say, black box is an amazing coffee shop with amazing people and amazing coffee. I’m not one to leave reviews, but this just had to be said.

I visited Black Box for the first time today, and was extremely pleased and impressed with my experience. I highly recommend the Lavender Latte, which is a wonderful blend of floral notes and strong espresso. If you are lucky enough to meet the owners, they create a welcoming environment with wonderful conversation. A hidden gem is all of the artwork from local artists as well as local trinkets which make wonderful gifts. I will definitely be back!

If you want a real cappuccino in Dearborn, this is the place. Roy and his staff are incredibly friendly and as you can tell from the quality of my takeout cup they are focused on the details and that includes the flavor of the coffee. After coming back to the office at Ford, it's nice to know that on the way in I can grab a cappuccino that is going to taste great.

The matcha latte and earl grey latte are both delicious with or without vanilla. The baristas are friendly, and I enjoy the rotating artwork that is displayed around the coffee shop.
